April 30, 200718 yr Member Eh...it looked a little too "fan fantasy/Nintendo Journey to Aragon"-ish to me. Maybe it'll grow on me.
April 30, 200718 yr Member Damn boards is [!@#$%^&*] slow today I kind of like it, but why the [!@#$%^&*] is Brad with Meg, Henry with Katie and Alison with Luke? I hope there's another version tomorrow cause they've left off some people. Paul, Barbara, etc...

April 30, 200718 yr Member Grayson McCouch looks terrible in that opening........... Edited April 30, 200718 yr by Rhiannon
April 30, 200718 yr Member YUUUUUCK! That was horrible! The theme sounded really awkward. At the end of the opening, it sounded like a totally different song than earlier in the opening. The beginning is also rather weak. The entire themesong in general is very weak and wishy-washy, which has been the problem with ATWT's openings for a few years now. I also didn't care for the actor shots -- the one of Austin Peck is so cheesy! LoL The "ATWT" title logo is nice, though. I did like that.
April 30, 200718 yr Member Something about the color of it and the very beginning of the song reminds me of Gone with the Wind....then it goes modern. It's alright. The moments that caught my eye were the background clips of Lucinda and Craig as well as Lily, and Katie sitting down next ot Henry. Those were good choices for little moments.
April 30, 200718 yr Member It is different! I will have to let it will grow on me. Loved the shots of Craig and Lucinda,Bob and Kim,Holden and Lily. Surely there are other versions with Nancy and Lisa and those left out of this one.
April 30, 200718 yr Member Overall I really liked it! Although it didn't show every member of the cast it showed several crucial ones and characters I like. The coloring, the textures, and the music were very modern and edgy. However I do agree that it was VERY different in the beginning than it was at the end. I sorta liked it more at the end which sucks since its the end. But it did pick up steam which I think it what they were going for. Sorta like going from a low point to a musical climax. I don't know yet if I approve of the whole "pairs" theme they had going on. Some of them made no sense at all. Like whoever Luke was with made me go, "HUH!? WTF?". And I just remembered it was Alison. They should have paired Alison with Susan and Luke with Jade. I mean DUH! Don't they think over there? And Brad and Meg? What happened to Paul? Thats completely stupid on ATWT's part. But maybe it'll be like the old one where there are different variations with different "pairs". I want to see Barbara... Lol...I grinned during Austin Peck's lil cameo. Such a hot guy and he has an awesome smile. Overall I give the new opening an A. I like how the globe was in "As The World Turns". For some reason I was afraid it would be gone. Watching it again on Youtube and I must say I enjoy it more with each hearing. Edited April 30, 200718 yr by ATWTCarOn4Ever
April 30, 200718 yr Member The whole people in the cornfield has me messed up a little, lol. I can't wait to see the alternate version and the full version.
April 30, 200718 yr Member I hate how bad the graphics look. It reminds me of the opening to "Ghost Whisperer". Don't particularly like the theme either, though it's not as jangly as the mid-show bumper music. The only good thing? This version starts with Jack and Carly.
April 30, 200718 yr Member Thought the beginning was good but then... The main problem is that most shots of the actors are HORRIFIC - why do they all look so strange, all those pissed looks or strange moves!? The idea with the couples is good but it looks baaaad. The music at the end is nice again but overall it's not too good of an opening. WTF @ Austin Peck!? Does he look that way on ATWT now??? OMG it's Fabio... LOL!!!
