Today is going to be another day of not being frazzled by customers on the telephone... Up in the switchboard area, which is always a relaxing opportunity to just look up numbers and transfer calls.

Here I was, working, talking on the phone when a big bright light came and a HUGE clap of thunder sounded. Immediately, the power went out and then the generators came on. Outside the windows, we could see smoke. Yep, our building was hit by lighting. All is well and we went back to work, but it was scary and I did in fact, scream

We had a lovely storm this morning. Went outside with my mug of coffee just to smell the air afterward.

Damn it's hot here in Kentucky. We hit 98 today, and are forecast to hit about 102 tomorrow. I'm ready for winter, lol.

This heat is deadly! It is a crime for it to be this hot!

Couldn't do my car hunting today b/c it was so terrible....I hope I can actually get out there b4 I have to go back to work on Sunday.

it's just hot everywhere.. oh well definitely not going to complain..

People are hopping all around this darn house, doing something they could have finished months ago and done a gradual approach but they decided to completely re-design one of the rooms in one day. So I've been up all morning listening to them and walking around them as they do just about everything you can think of.

On top of that, I might have to go out at like eleven tonight when it is completely unnecessary.

Such a hectic day all around, with of course other regular drama.

I feel like I wanna eat ice cream.
