I know many were rooting for Lesli, but I was rooting for Genie. She was on for a month sure, but she brought GH's heart with her. And for a show that has become such a flash-in-the-pan that you can set your watch by their sweeps stunts, that is a momentous achievement.

Congrats to Genie Francis!!! She so deserved the nomination, but maybe in a separate category, Best Guest or Short-Term role. Also glad Rick Hearst won, although I think Dan Gauthier should've won.

I'm glad Genie Francis won because I loved Laura when I was watching GH. She so deserves an Emmy. I hope the show brings her back. But Brian Frons probably still will say no, argh. Speaking of Frons, I thought it was very funny how Rick Hearst had to espeically mention him backstage and Lisa Rinna said that showed how smart Hearst was. Seems like Frons wants people groveling to him.

It doesn't bother me that Genie Francis got nominated and won for 3 weeks, because those 3 weeks were effective. They were the best episodes I've seen of GH in years and years and years, and some of the best any soap has done in years. Besides, she is a soap legend, it's about damn time she won.

Genie won because of the sympathy factor. I'll never be convinced otherwise. She should have been nominated in 1999 during Lucky's death.

I knew Genie would win, it was so obvious. But Lesli really reserved this one!!!! Getting annoyed even thinking about it.

Didn't care for the Supporting Actor category since I knew trent wouldn't win. He chose a funny tape though.

No offense to Genie but I’m still heavily pissed about this.

This may have already come up here but why did they play B&B THEME when Francis walked to the stage??? For one second I thought Kyle Lowder misread and it is actually Lesli Kay who won….
