I'm just curious as to who you'd like to see headwrite your show, or perhaps even other shows. Here's my list of dream soap headwriters:

ALL MY CHILDREN:

[s.W.S.N.B.N.]

ONE LIFE TO LIVE:

Kay Alden and Jack Smith

GENERAL HOSPITAL:

Meg Bennett and Christopher Whitesell

GUIDING LIGHT:

Dena Higley and Lorraine Broderick

AS THE WORLD TURNS:

Megan McTavish and Sally Sussman-Morina

BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL:

Brad Bell

YOUNG AND RESTLESS:

Lynn-Marie Latham

PASSIONS/DAYS OF OUR LIVES:

James E. Reilly

My first question...did Chris Goutman kill your dog or something? Sending McTrash our way? No thanks. Barely survived her stint at GL.

ATWT...Susan Dansby or Carolyn Culliton. Dansby's been with the show for years, Culliton managed to make Hogan's first year brilliant. I think I'd even take Lorraine Broderick back.

B&B...I'll take suggestions. Bell has been out of gas for years. Another round of Forrester near incest...ICK.

Okay, here's my dream list!!

ALL MY CHILDREN

Megan McTavish- I know that most AMC fans want to bash me over the head for that, but I really love her writing.

BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Brad Bell- But he needs to step it up a notch.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES

James E. Reilly- Just because I love his writing and he would probably bring Jan back :)

GENERAL HOSPITAL

Hmm...that's a toughie. Whoever was the writer in the late 90s/early 00's and used Helena a lot.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Anyone who will write for Margaret.

PASSIONS

James E. Reilly- Obviously... :)

YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Jack Smith- Because I saw nothing wrong with him...

Guiding Light

Peter Dunne and Lorraine Broderick or

Wisner Washam and Lorraine Broderick

Anyone and Lorraine Broderick, the woman is a freakin genius. I've always seen her as one to always write socially relevent stories. I would love to see what issues she would write for the citizens of Springfield.

Days - [s.W.S.N.B.N.]. I fell in love with her when I read her interview. She clearly loves the show and the genre, respects the history, and understands that for soaps to survive they have to show new types of stories that can hold its own against cable. Of course, she'll need a co-HW who will balance things out - she seems very...intense, and might get out of hand.

Passions: Megan McTavish.

Why?- the woman who unaborted a fetus to create a new character can totally handle the off-the-wall stuff Passions needs. And while I've hated the resolutions, she is much better at putting together a mystery story than the writers at Passions. Seriously, I love the way she builds suspense and puts them together, and if Passions is to rely on this they could use her. Of course, it's canceled so moot point.

Days: James Reilly.

Why?- not the man who vomited up the stupid neverending kidnapping crap, because that was awful to a degree I have never seen. But the man who did the Possession and, I think, Hope's reintroduction. He could do good things, imho.

Alternate: C&B

Why?- they rocked. I don't know if I was high off of the demise of Tom Langan or what, but they seemed to actually have a plan in place and I will never understand why they were fired.

But, before they switch HWs at Days, Corday must go.
