 I always thought the names in the Cast Bio's over at cbs.com/daytime/atwt were contract cast members. If that is the case, then Kathleen Widdoes and Matt Cavenaough are contract.

Don't watch ATWT but the actors listed at cbs.com are not necessarily contract player. For instance they don't remove longterm cast members from their site just because they're dropped to recurring. But if an actors is new on a show and is then added to their biography pool he's likely to be a contract player.

Hope that helps. :)

I know for sure Kathleen Widdoes is on recurring. She was on contract from 1985 to 1989 before being dropped to recurring status.

About Matt Cavenugh, I'm not very sure but I don't understand why Adam would be on a recurring capacity. it's weird, isn't it?

You forgot to include the great Elizabeth Hubbard in the list of contract cast members.

As far as I know, Widdoes and Cavenaugh are both recurring. I always use the closing credits as the be-all end-all for that.

Half the time I can't figure out the difference in the end credits. GL put them all in alphabetical order when I tried to use that a couple of weeks ago. It would make sense that Adam is recurring since he is dead now, right. Plus the first actor was able to leave without any big deal made if he had signed a contract it could of been different.

Fixed...

Matt Cavenaugh (Adam Munson) has not been on contract since he joined the show. Neither was Matthew Morrison (ex-Adam) who was on last year.

ATWT always lists all of the contract players first in their credits (with the exception of Lisa, of course) and then it goes into an alphabetical list of recurring/guest stars that were on that week. Adam is always included with these recurring/guest stars...

I kept Adam on the list, although I don't know for sure if he's dead or not (I refuse to read the spoilers on that subject), and I haven't read anything that says that the actor has left.

Is it okay to add some other cast lists? The forum that they are in most haven't been updated in like a month and I would love to add some.

Yeah, I've seen that with GL. I got so excited once because I thought Marj Dusay was on contract again, but then I realized that they just lump everybody together.

ATWT's is easy for me to understand. Don Hastings is always first, then the rest of the contract cast is listed in alphabetical order (sans Eileen Fulton). Then we get the recurring/guest performers who have been on recent episodes, ending with Eileen Fulton's special credit at the end.

More specifically, they're the recurring/guest performers that aired/will air in the week that the credits air (if that makes any sense...).
