I thought Lakisha would go home. Not surprised. She needs to take voice lessons to control her strong voice. She's a good singer, but sometimes she does tend to shreak or yell her lyrics.

Blake and Jordin are very marketable. Lakisha & Melinda can be, especially in R&B or dance(Lakisha).

I hope next week Jordin falls on her face and that Blake and Melinda are the FINAL 2. I personally favor Blake, but would be just as happy if Melinda got it. Blake is the most modern, most multi-talented artist ever to appear on IDOL and will be very,very succesful, no matter what. I voted for Blake 100 times this week, and will do the same or more next week and if he's in the finals likewise.

Blake was the worst of the group Tuesday in my view. I think he should go next week. Jordin and Melinda are obviously the best of the three. Blake has a huge following, but now, Jordin or Melinda will get LaKisha's votes so maybe they will overcome the disparity of votes for something different. Time to get a real singer back as Idol.

OK, I'll be the first to say what is on everyone's mind: Jordin outsung Barry Gibb. Poor Gibby, got upstaged by a teenager!

Gibb was horrible. He has aged alot and I have to wonder if that played a role.

On my local radio this morning, they were saying he has dentures or something and it's hard for him to sing now. That may be why he is mostly writing now. I like him but it was kind of sad watching tonight.

I really don't know who I want gone next. I think I'm ultimately rooting for Jordin - even though I enjoy Blake and think he'll be fine whether he wins or not. Melinda - she is great - but her personality is not 'Idol'-like. She's just boring.

Blake will absolutely not have a big career when Idol is over.

Blake's career will follow the same path is Taylor. Both of them are only good on stage when you can see them. Yes, both are great performers but their vocal range is very limited. I like Blake too, far more then Taylor, but you can tell he is already getting egotistical like Taylor did towards the end. He is relying on his quirks (his beatboxing, dancing, etc to get him through) just like Taylor relied on his little fits on stage to get him through. Blake even has his 'Blaker girls" fanbase much like Taylor had the "Soul Patrol."

I actually think Chris R. will be much more successful because of his look and his JT comparison. Sanjaya will probably have better success, sadly. Melinda could be very successful if she hooks up with the right people and style and I think Jordin by far can be huge. Many big time performers and singers have said she has the stuff to make it big and she has a huge fanbase, much like Carrie and Kelly did. She is very marketable and is your typical, stereotype of a young American girl.

Blake's time better be up next week because I don't want to see a finale like last year where we have a great singer and someone who just relies on performance. If Katherine's voice had not given out, Taylor would've been toast because she had closed the gap going into finale week. Katherine hasn't had a big career either but she was still miles ahead of Taylor.

Don't even compare Blake Lewis to the horrible, terrible, elderly looking Taylor Hicks. Blake is a very good singer, entertainer, beat-boxer and producer/re-mixer. I don't see Blake being egotistical at all.

Katharine McPhee's voice didn't give out last season either. She outsang Taylor Hicks, as did Elliott Yamin & Chris Daughtry, who's proved he should've won and is the best out of the 4. Chris Daughtry got the last laugh, lmao.

I like Blake a lot. My problem with him is that when he beat boxes his whole voice changes. He can sing, and he can sing pretty good when that's what he's doing. But the beat boxing throws off the entire rhythm of the song. If he does it again next week, he's gone. LOL, he probaby is anyway, though.
