Members JoelMTL
Strangely, I was thinking about Ms. Conley last night. Even though I knew she was not well, I still hoped that she'd be back on B&B over the last few months. I have a friend who I talk to on the phone every few days and rarely does a week pass that he or myself don't mention Darlene Conley/Sally Spectra. She had the type of appeal and presence that left an indelible mark on everyone who's seen her. One of a kind.

Members Ms. Walsh
Wow! I'm in absolute shock. When I read the title of the thread, my heart just stopped. This is so devestating.

Members R!ck
I thought she was doing well after her surgery. Conley is my fave soap actress ever and the sole reason I got hooked on B&B years ago. She was as much B&B as Flannery is. I can't believe she's gone. rest in peace Darlene. ATTN: Brad Bell! Since you have screwed Darlene/Sally over for the past 5 years. Could you at least write her a nice send off? Mick Cain, Phyllis Diller, Fabio, Daniel McVicar, and Michael Swan should all be there. Members UKBoi
And in some form, Bobbie Eakes should be featured. Even if in flashbacks. Ditto for Schae Harrison.
Members KLN
Yeah, I was just thinking how badly Bobbie Eakes NEEDS to be used in this. Maybe B&B will ask AMC and the show will let her do it? Similar to the Lauren Koslow swap between B&B/Days.
Members Adam
I agree Kenny, Bobbie Eakes needs to be included somehow. But I doubt Frons would allow it, being the micro-manager that he is. Its a shame Sally has not been used as a front burner character for a while. Now it will never happen I am out of the loop, was was Darlene having surgery for? Was it some form of cancer?
Members alwaysAMC
What was Sally's connection to Bobbie Eakes's character? Obviously I never watched B&B...but I have seen Sally clips and she seemed sooo fun.
Members Southern Honey
Oh My Goodness this is terrible. Darlene was one of my favorites, she's one of the people that stand out from my childhood memories of soaps with Susan Flannery as another. There was nothing like the Forrester/Spectre rivalries. She will be missed. Thats a part of soap history thats gone.
Members Adam
Macy (Bobbie Eakes) was Sally's (Darlene Connely) daughter.

Members alwaysAMC
Oh wow - that's interesting. Was she similar in character to Sally?? I could see Bobbie doing that role after watching her as Krystal on AMC. I hope B&B does get Bobbie for a special episode...if they do one.
