Long Nancy Curlee Millee Taggart Best Executive Producer: Allen Potter Also: Robert Calhoun Jill Farren Phelps (I don't forgive her for Killing off Maureen Bauer, but GL was great under her) Worst Headwriters: David Kreizman Ellen Weston Sheri Anderson & Joseph D. Members AbFabGL4ever7 Posted January 12, 2007 Members Share Posted January 12, 2007 GL- Best HW- Douglas Marland Pam Long Nancy Curlee Millie Taggart Best EP- Allen Porter In the minority EP- John Conboy (he may have chose the worst hack in daytime as a HW and gave the show it's worse opening, but he gave GL a great elegant look that rivaled Y&R in terms of quality production. When it was Taggart and Conboy for those few months before Weston took over GL was a fine piece of work. If we still had John Conboy EP and Millie Taggart as HW the show would be on fire right now IMHO. Although Conboy is part of the reason GL has a jacked up budget. Worst EP- Ellen Wheeler- she's not a bad EP either, but I think her creativity as EP is dumbed down by David Kreizman. Corday is the worst EP but he isn't horrible to the point where the show sucks. The guy makes mistakes but keeps the show true to it's roots for the most part. Mary Ryan Munisteri's headwriting period may not have been the show's best moment, but Pat Falken Smith was 1000 times worse. I know she was popular at DAYS and GH, but she was god-awful at RH.
