She falls asleep and is awakened by John’s voice coming from the balcony. Marlena follows the voice – when suddenly, she’s pulled back by Roman, who insists it was all a dream. Belle cries at her dad’s bedside about the custody hearing tomorrow, and John’s finger reaches up and touches hers. Belle is thrilled, until Dr. Tucker tells her it was just an involuntary reaction. With Connor’s help, Bonnie sneaks into the morgue. She finds the bones and steals them. Max and Mimi are about to make love -- when Shawn interrupts. He’s come to ask them to be character witnesses for him and Belle tomorrow in court. Jan.12 Shawn and Belle are in front of a judge to determine who will get custody of Claire. Victor accuses Shawn and Belle of negligence. To everyone’s shock, Victor brings in Willow to testify that Shawn worked for a criminal and took money under the table. Outside the hearing room, Hope comforts Marlena, who’s trying to make the right decision about John’s care. Roman arrives to confide in Bo his concern about Lexie and her I.D. of EJ. Later, Mimi and Max show up to support Shawn and Belle. Everyone’s there at the end of the day when they’re shocked to see a bandaged man wheeled into the hearing room – Philip! Abe learns the bones have been stolen and guesses the thief may be the killer. Bonnie and Connor are trying to figure out where to hide the bones when Abe and Lexie come by looking for Mimi. They quickly hide the bones and nervously tell Abe that Mimi is at Max’s. Later, Mimi and Max begin to make love, but are interrupted by Abe and Lexie, who report that the skeleton has been stolen. Jan.15 Philip is wheeled into the hearing room and everyone sees his new face for the first time. The judge makes his decision: he orders Shawn and Belle to take parenting classes for three months. And he awards Philip temporary custody for ninety days. Livid Shawn attacks Philip. Sami, Lucas, and Will are closer than ever, and Kate is fit to be tied. Sami is being honored with a police citation for her good deed in rescuing Lucas. A fuming Kate storms out. Abby urges Nick to stop leading Chelsea on with the Shane Patton ruse. Stephanie arrives to tell them her big news: she got a job in Dayton and is leaving town. Chelsea breezes in and Stephanie is finally able to tell her what she really thinks of her. Chelsea wants Abby to convince Max to hire her. Chelsea needs a job so she can help her mom with the rent for their new apartment. Jan.16 Shawn goes to confront Willow, who admits that Victor paid her ten grand to lie to the judge. When Shawn tells Maggie what Willow’s done, Maggie fires her. Mimi has gone to Philip in hopes of convincing him not to take Claire from Shawn and Belle. Philip stands firm. Later, Mimi discovers a passport in Claire’s name and realizes Philip’s planning to take her out of the country. Kate tells Lucas he’s making a mistake trusting Sami. Her story doesn’t hold up. Kate thinks that someone – maybe EJ – helped her move the beam to save Lucas. Lucas refuses to believe it. Marlena is agonizing over her decision about John’s care. She finds an Italian coin from their trip and tells John she’s decided he needs better care than she can give him by herself. Jan.17 Shawn tells Belle they have no choice but to kidnap their daughter with Mimi and Max’s help. They confirm that Claire is expected at the hospital tomorrow for immunizations for her trip overseas. The friends resolve to show up at the hospital at the appointed time and kidnap Claire before Philip has a chance to take her away from them forever. Stephanie has a heart-to-heart with her father. They share an emotional goodbye. Later, Steve experiences another excruciating ”episode.” Jan.18 Unable to take the pounding in his head, Steve flips out and trashes the Salem Inn suite where he lives with Kayla. He calls Bo and asks him for a job with the Salem P.D. He feels that having a purpose to his life will enable him to overcome the violent episodes he’s been experiencing. Bo agrees and asks Steve to track down EJ in Mexico. Kayla and Stephanie say their good-byes. Sami gets a call from EJ, who warns her to keep her mouth shut. Lucas overhears some of her conversation. Sami is forced to admit it was EJ on the phone. Lucas is proud of her for telling him the truth and they end up making love. Chelsea IM’s Lonely Splicer, informing him that she knows his “true identity” thanks to some snooping by a “lame-o” friend of hers. Nick is hit hard by Chelsea’s put-down and sends back a message that she’s the real lame-o. Members KevC1980 Posted January 11, 2007 Members Share Posted January 11, 2007 We just need to get through tommorow..it seems like things finally pick up with Phillip arriving on fridays show..next week sounds better, glad EJ is returning..as he adds a certain amount of excitement to the show..
