I am in the minority on this one but I honestly cannot get into this couple. Ever since Steve remembered his life with Kayla their scenes have been awkard to me. I dont know if its because I have not seen them from the begining or what but I just cannot get into them. The bath tub scenes were not "hot" to me at all. I found them completely wierd. Another thing I am in the minority about is Steve/Billie pairing. I really loved Steve and Billie as couple and think that they had alot of potential. MBE and SN are phenominal actors don't get me wrong but I just can't get into their scene. They just really make me feel uncomfortable. The one couple that I really LOVE together is Bo and Hope. I love those two alot and can't wait for thier upcoming scenes.

Steve and Kayla are total dullsville to me. I find the scenes we've had recently very boring. Like you said, perhaps it's because we didn't see Steve and Kayla in the 80s when they were the "it" couple. Well, I've watches scenes from the 80s, most of their important scenes, and yet, I'm still bored. I love Steve and I love Kayla (a little less though), but when they're together, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I'm in love with Steve and Billie. They're the couple that I'll continue to root for even though it's never going to happen again That's what my blog is for though As for Kayla, I could care less what they do with her. Find her a new man...

I like Billie and Steve together. However I am a fan of Steve/Kayla. I don't find their scenes to be "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ". I will admit this though....I do believe that they have lost a bit of their spark from before. I thought they were amazing when they were together on GH, but for some reason.....they are missing something now that they've been reunited again on DAYS. Maybe it's just temporary.

I know a bunch of people who aren't into Steve and Kayla. I don't agree with them, but you're not alone!

I came back to DAYS because they hooked me back with Steve and Kayla. I was a fan back in the 80s and I'm still a fan now. And for me, they still got IT.

Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols have undeniable chemistry. However, the characters of Steve and Kayla shoudl not be together. I don't care how much of a love story the writers want to feed us. Steve Johnson has been "dead" for 16 years and living a life as another man. He had another wwife. What the hell happened to old Della? He should have moved on, whether he got his memory back or not. The feelings can't change. He may remember Kayla, but way too much time has changed to just instantly continue their love for each other. I hate it!

As for Kayla, her undying love for Steve is fine with me. He was the love of her life. I'm not surprised she never really got with anyone else. That's why I'm not opposed to hooking Kayla up with someone new in my blog. Steve, on the other hand, belongs with Billie.

When he got his memories back, it's obvious that his feelings for Kayla took precedent over those when he was "Nick".

Not when you know their history. It wasn't just a love story. It was a bone deep friendship between people who understood each other in a way no one else did. Yes, it's romantic and unrealistic but that's who they were. Kayla quite literally saved Steve in more ways that I can list here. She was the world to him. It doesn't surprise me in the least that his feelings would instantly return.

I don't expect everyone else to love them (I'm sure they didn't in the 80s either) and I'm really not surprised considering the past six months of S&K were basically 5 1/2 months of limbo followed by "bam! he remembers!" Still, as much as some of you can't get into S&K I just shake my head at those who want Steve with Billie. I think SN would have chemistry with a door and I just didn't see a spark between Steve and Billie. Most likely it's because that story was so rushed and badly handled. Maybe I'd have felt different if it had grown more organically instead of their being a big "Plot Point" sign in every scene of theirs.

Anyway, for those hating it, the sappy, love honeymoon period Steve and Kayla are in right now won't last. It's just to get them and the fans a bit of a break before the new s/l starts next week. Hopefully the next story will pull some of you into the S&K magic and show you why Kayla's the right person for him. If it doesn't, it doesn't We all have pairings we can't stand.

I don't either. I think they belong together, they're a supercouple and should be together, but I can't seem to get into them (I tried, I really did, cause I wanna enjoy supercouples). I'm enjoying Bo/Hope again, so maybe with time... They have their cute moments. I find Kayla boring so that could be it, I enjoyed Steve's scenes with Chelsea a while ago, but other than that... I am happy for their fans though, that they have their couple back.

I always assumed I was just a hater! I LOVE LOVE LOVED Mary Beth on GH and ATWT, but I think she is extremely dull as Kayla. I also enjoyed Nichols on GH, but I can't get into him either. The characters are boring and Stephanie sucks too. This is why I'm having such a problem with Hogan's DAYS, it's centered around supercouples and I don't like many of them. I like Jack and Jennifer (gone) and Sami/Lucas. I would've liked Victor/Bonnie, but she's gone. So is Lexie. The few characters I DO like are gone, but the boring ones (for me) remain.

Bo/Hope - Love Peter Reckell since seeing him on Knots Landing and I love Bo, but I don't like Hope or Kristian Alfonso. I watched Falcon Crest before Dallas and back then she was cute, but replacing the extremely talented Ana-Alicia and couldn't hold a candle. Now on DAYS her face has...changed and I don't think her acting has improved much. She's decent, but not strong when compared to the heavy hitters on other soaps. IMO.

Marlena/John - Moanlena and I have always had a difficult relationship. I've seen 70s/80s episodes with her and enjoyed her, but now I think she is dreadful. The definition of that bad, moany, !!GASP!!! soap opera acting. And Drake Hogestyn? I wouldn't even call him an actor, lol.

Hopefully Hogan can get the ratings up so he can afford to bring back some of the characters I do enjoy watching.
