December 15, 200619 yr Member Since the Top 10 is still on hiatus for now, I would love to hear who you felt was the best for this week. Here are my picks. I feel the best shows to me were All My Children, Young & the Restless and Days of Our Lives. The best for me was AMC. It has been a long time since I was able to give AMC props but I felt they did a good job this week. I thought sure I was going to hate the character of Zarf, and surprisingly I don't. I like the tension in the relationship between Jeff, Erica, and Jack and it involves characters in a story that are older than 50. Also I love Colby now that she is a little more subdued and become protective of her brother. She is different than the brat of the summer and her stories with Sydney. It is just much better. I can actually tolerate the character now. And I absolutely am enjoying the killer storyline. Not because of the story itself but because of the Fusion girls. I especially loved their press conference this week, and seeing them show the killer that they were not scared. AMC is far from perfect and I still have problems with it, but I do give them their props for this week, and I give them their props for trying. They had a very good week, and I am proud for them. The individual episode that stood out for me was Monday's Days. The show was really good that day, and has been pretty good all week. As with AMC I still have huge problems with the show, but give them their props for Mondays show which was fantastic. It was a great followup to Friday's show, and was the first time since Kayla came back to the show that I actually liked the character at all. Now to performances: AMC: I give props this week to Jeff Branson. Man that guy was good this week. I hate the character still but the boy can act. Also Alicia Minshew was great again. ATWT: STill not a great week on my show. I do give props to Jeff Meek and Colleen Zenk Pinter who were both fabulous this week. But the real props go to Elizabeth Hubbard for me. That lady was fantastic especially on Friday's show. I also have to give a shout out to them giving me my favorite scene of the week. I think it was on Tuesday's episode when Jack & Mike had their "testerone match" as it has been referred too. As I said I was just waiting for them to whip 'em out and see who had the biggest. It was a great scene and I loved it. It was a highlight in a rather boring week again on the show. B&B: Props again go to Betty White and Susan Flannery who were magnigicent again. They were the highlights in a rather bland week for me on the show. B&B didn't get much rating wise from having Betty White on the show, but for those that missed it they missed some great drama, pretty good writing, but some damn great acting. Days: Props go to Stephen Nichols, Lauren Kaslow, & John Aniston who were magnificent this week. Each one of them gave great performances. GH: I felt GH was pretty good this week, but not great. The performances that stood out for me were Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Laura Wright, and Julie Berman who were all great this week. Rick Hearst just never fails to amaze me as Ric. I loved watching him this week trying to keep it all together, as things began to fall apart. GL: Lots of props here: Tina Sloan (Friday with Alan was great), Ron Raines, Ricky Paull Goldin, Tom Pelphrey, Stephanie Gatschet, Marcy Rylan & Beth Chamberlain all gave very standout performances this week. I really loved Gus this week as he struggled with not being able to have his own children. Lillian really socked it to Alan on Friday and Tina Sloan was magnificent. Marcy Rylan continues to amaze me at how well she keeps improving. She is fast becoming one of my favorite actresses. OLTL: Still not able to sit through much of this show. I did catch parts of the show everyday and have to give props to Trevor St. John was magnificent again this week as Todd. Passions: As usual behind on getting this one watched. I do want to give the show props for breaking another barrier this week and showing us Ethan in the bathroom taking a leak full of sound effects and all. Y&R: Props this week go to Peter Bergman and Judith Chapman who were magnificent in the court room scenes. I absolutely felt both of their pain as they struggled over the Abbott name. Eileen Davidson, Christian LeBlanc, and Jerry Douglas were all great too, but Peter and Judith stole the show that day. To me I would say the performances of the week were: Stephen Nichols for Best Actor and Betty White for Best Actress (followed closely by Judith Chapman)

I thought he did a really good job today and I really felt for Ryan Female: Alicia Minshew-she has been knocking this material out of the ballpark I agree that Cameron Mathison has been good too. There has been so much good acting around the two deaths. I think Jeff Branson will definitely get a pre-nom out of this.
December 16, 200619 yr Member I enjoyed Guiding Light!! I'm only halfway through and it is a pretty good episode: - Lillian and Alan rocked those scenes in the Spaulding Study. And my golly-gee Tina Sloan is gorgeous!!! - Tammy and Beth!! Ha! I love that Tammy put Beth in her place regarding her marriage to Alan and affair with Rick. Good for you Tam-Tam! - Reva!! Honey...You are looking all kinds of trashy, old Revaish and I love it!!! Reva looked HOT!! And I didn't think I would like her new guy, but he's funny and handsome. I never thought I would say this or my next comment, but I like Reva and Josh apart!!! - Josh and Cassie!! Damn Nicole Forrester so pretty and Robert Newman is hot too!!! I love them as a couple and think it is a breath of fresh air to the same ole JEVA story! - Lizzie and Marcy Rylan!! By still my heart! I adore her and her chemistry with Jonathan...I don't care what anyone says or who they think Jonathan should be with I am a proud LONTHAN FAN!!!!
December 16, 200619 yr Member DAYS: Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans gave Emmy-worthy performances
December 16, 200619 yr Member Definitely Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans. Their performances on Monday were mesmerizing.
December 16, 200619 yr Member GL: Actress: Stephanie Gatschet (Tammy) - I think she proved this week that she can be the driving force to a storyline not just the character who gets dragged along. It was a lot of fun seeing Tammy's transformation from being the good girl who stood by to being the cynic who was tired of being stepped on. SG does a great job playing snarky go-getter and it's a damn shame TPTB over at GL rarely ever let that aspect of Tammy's personality come out more. HM: Marcy Rylan (Lizzie) - She plays the [!@#$%^&*] soo well! Also, Tina Sloan (Lillian). I feel the same about her like I do about SG. She's probably my favourite vet on the show and it's unfortunate that they've reduced her to a "listener/voice of reason" because she absolutely rocked telling Alan off today! Actor: Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus) - I actually felt horrible for Gus and his inability to have kids and even though I could care less about GusH, I actually enjoyed their ITL this week. December 16, 200619 yr Member Well I really only got to watch AMC this week as I had lots of finals and drove back home all day....but I did catch a little ATWT, GH, and DAYS - but didn't really find anyone overly impressive. Anyway here are my AMC picks: Definitely Alicia Minshew - that girl has been DYNAMITE all week - with her crying in the bathtub, grieving over her lost friends...to her press conference, which she hit out of the ballpark! For the guys, definitely Jeff Branson for Wed-Fri, but when Friday came around - Cameron Mathison was superb in all his scenes. So both of those guys get kudos! Glad you're enjoying AMC again Steve - I know I am!
