I don't know what to think yet. I'm really worried Barbara's return has something to do with Walt leaving, hopefully not.

Also, I'd rather have Brooke and Opal back full time than a few days of Janet and Barbara.

It just seems like AMC and OLTL are going the GH route of short-term sweeps casting stunts.

But yes, I'm a little excited.

Yay!!!!!

Hmmm...I wonder if this could have anything to do with Kay Alden and Jack Smith consulting all three ABC soaps? It seems OLTL is looking up a little with Hilary B. Smith being resigned....and now two fan favorites, Janet and Barbara return to AMC.

Hopefully we will get some good Bianca/Barbara scenes. I've always wanted to know how those 2 got along and what Barbara thinks about Binks being a lesbian.

We're on the same page. As much as I liked Barbara and Janet, I would take Brooke & Opal over the two of them any day.

However, I will probably tune in to see them.

I love it!! Mother Janet is coming back! :) YAY! Now I can watch more regularly. I only watch about once a week now. But I have a feeling that I'll stop once she's gone. I'll never forgive (or forget) the disgusting treatment of Brooke/Julia Barr.

Glad both are returning. I've always figured that Susan Pratt would return as Barbara, ever since they announced that they were brining in Sean. I bet AMC will pair Jackson and Barbara with Brooke gone. I'm also glad to see Kate Collins as Janet. I've got a feeling that Amanda may be the killer. I hope not. I agree that I'd rather have Julia Barr on as Brooke and Jill Larson(Opal) back than these two, but I'm still glad that they're coming back.

Update on "character motivation" (from TV Guide Online) added to the original post. ;)

I just knew Janet couldn't be the killer! I love that they are doing the Silence of the Lambs thing with Janet! Soooo fun! :)

Barbara/Erica will be DYNAMITE!

I can't wait for Feb!

I have to agree. Nice to see old actors return, but too much focus on the bad guys on soaps and not enough on the good guys.

Thanks for adding that :)

Awww...it looks like Janet's only on for a few episodes if they're just going to consult with her. :(

Amanda may still be attacked, but not killed. Which could facillitate Janet's return and she help's ala Silence of the Lambs. I still think Del is the killer
