Seriously, like what is wrong with Laura Wright's portrayal? When people say that she's "self-entitled" and stuff, I really don't see why people say that's a problem. Who cares if she feels this role belongs to her.

Self-entitled meaning that this version of Carly acts like she's superior to everyone in her path. She dislikes people she doesn't deem worthy... when that was NEVER the original Carly. Carly's attitude toward people came out of self-preservation. A defense mechanism. She felt she had something to prove to people. Now, Laura Wright's Character goes around just biting people's heads off and snapping at them and being Mega B!tch on Wheels because she's Queen Carly and people should fall to their knees when she comes into the room and whoever doesn't... OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

Enough! Laura Wright doesn't understand this role at all, and it bleeds into her obnoxious portrayl. But who can blame her for being so woefully misguided, after having to be in Kim Zimmer's overacting shadow for eight years. Now, she's in Zimmer's position on GH and is playing the role over the top just like Zimmer does Reva on GL.

I'm bored already, and so underwhelmed.

I just feel like she overpowers other peformers in a negative way. It's like hurricane Carly when she's on screen. When Sarah Brown and Tamara Braun were hurricanes at least it fit with the scene. Still I'll take Wright over poor Jenny Bransford any day...

I think the whole Jenny Bransford situation was just sad and wrong. She had no CLUE what she was entering into and was taken for a ride. It reminded me of those high school situations where the cool girls would bring the biggest geek to a party, but the poor geek had no clue he was being used to be made fun of. It was just all totally wrong. I actually gained a shred of respect for Maurice when he stood up for Jenny.

I think that Bransford is a very good actress, and she did a very good job during the meltdown. However, she wasn't Carly. That being said, neither is Laura Wright.

I agree with you about Jennifer Bransford. She is a good actress, but she wasn't good as Carly.

However....I'll have to respectfully disagree with you about Laura Wright. There are plenty of scenes were Laura has been AMAZING and not "hurricane" Carly. However the writing for Carly now makes her more of a hurricane. I think she's amazing and is a great Carly.

I think Bransford was/is a good actress, too, but I think she was horribly miscast and I was a little embarrassed for her that she had to fumble and flop around while the writers tried to learn Bransford -- and ultimately while TPTB tried to find a replacement.

I just wish they kept looking.

Elizabeth is a hypocrite. How DARE she say that Sam is selfish and purposely gets herself in danger just so Jason can save her. Um how many times has Jason had to save her? How DARE she continually stick up her nose at Sam for sleeping with Ric and "betraying" Jason. Um shut up and mind your business. Sam and Jason were NOT together at the time. Liz however was married when she cheated on her husband and still lies to him to this day. And like Sam said, at least she didnt marry Ric. Ric was just as bad if not worse back then. Liz took him back even after he kidnapped and chained a pregnant woman to their wall and after he stood over her and contemplated killing her. She has no right to talk about Sam with Ric. How DARE she talk to Sam about putting Jason in danger. Um Liz, what about you? You are putting your unborn baby in danger and that is much worse. She whines to herself about how dangerous Jason's life is and how she needs to protect this baby from this life.

She also left Lucky when he was on drugs bc he was getting "dangerous" yet she involves herself in the mob world that Jason belongs too. Did she forget that the last time she was invovled with Jason she was kidnapped, locked in a crypt, shot, nearly blown up on the pier, and had a bomb planted in her studio? She is being incredibily selfish and irrespoinsible bc she has 2 kids to consider, yet she is making Jason a priority. The hell with her children and everyone else. Sam may have her ish but Elizabeth is the LAST person to call her out on everything. At least with Sam, what you see is what you get. Everyone knows where she stands. She doesnt go around acting all high and superior, smug and condescending bc she buys into the saint crap that people spew about her. I don't usually respond on the GH boards but today I just have to. I don't understand Sam at all. She finally gets bail and the first thing she does is go looking for Jason. She knows she is being followed and goes anyway. Not understanding this at all. I mean this woman is just plain STUPID!! I totally understood Liz being so irate because she is being tailed for pete sake.....get a clue!!

ITA with you Cheap. And let me just add that at least Sam was able to tell Jason that she slept with Ric. Sam did not try to hide it, unlike Elizabeth who continues to lie to Lucky about the affair and Jason that he is the baby's father.

It bothered me how Lulu was wearing the braid in her hair for like 4 days and then the next episodes Sam has been wearing a braid in the same spot?! That's not even a common hair style.

I felt it necessary to defend Elizabeth! I disagree with Elizabeth's character being ruined. I feel the same way about the character as I always have. I love the character, so nothing she does effects that, you have to stand by those characters you like no matter what! Sam was a conartist previously right? Why is she so sloopy? She always says that she has experience doing things undercover and whatnot...it bothers me how she can't seem to show that she cares about Jason's safety. Even a few weeks ago when she was with Spinelli in the safehouse room and she left him unattended to go take a shower?! Isn't it common sense that since he wasn't locked in there that he could leave?!

But hey, they have to cause the drama somehow!

Sam is seriously, a piece of a work. Her mother, battling cancer with two small children to care for after finding out SHE slept with her husband, works her ass off to get her out of jail with the agreement that if Sam has contact with Jason, they both go to jail. So what does Sam do the second she gets out? She steals some disguise and goes to hunt down Jason.
