LOVED Marlena taking charge of John at the end. John's reaction to realizing he was just duped was priceless. Marlena just gave him a cute smirk and that was the end. When Hogan said he was placing Marlena as the matriarch of the show, I felt that in today's show. She was like the voice of everyone in the room today. Loved that!

I loved that scene. They showed Marlena's cleverness and her ability to pursuade John into things he thinks he can't be pursuaded into. She pretended to let it go, and then in the end, she won that argument (which is the best thing for him, even though we all know they're probably both gonna be caught up in it soon).

Marlena was the first to mention that EJ might not be working FOR a DiMera, he could BE the DiMera.

I love that the 'hands-on-her-shoulders' thing is back.

Although I do have to say this latest promo thats out for S&K is hot and I am begining to like them but I do feel for Billie because she fell for him.

He's having these memories of Kayla and his past, yet he STILL chooses to be with Billie. And that's saying something. Kayla is his past. Billie is his future.

And any criticism that Billie is getting around the net is DAMN WELL deserved after what she has done in the past. Her actions were disgusting AT BEST! There is nothing wrong with heated discussion it is what has made SON the place to post about soaps on the net and that is all this is, heated discussion...and heated discussion coming from soap fans is HARDLY uncommon. I use caps to EMPHASIZE what I am saying and to signal a change in tone and I am not going to change that, that is the way I have posted here since I came to SON years ago.

And to clear that up not ONE of my posts did I use ALL CAPS as you say, sure I used them, but making a post with 20% of the words in CAPS is ALOT different than a post will every word in CAPS.

My favorite parts were Bo and Sami..I always enjoy their scenes together..and it was great that Bo acknowledged that Sami did a good thing... It was nice seeing Sami interact with her family at the hospital..I still can't stand Roman though...

Bo, John, and Kate in the van was great stuff..and i got excited when the ring was shown..Finally the dimera stuff is starting up...And the little glimpse of Benji got me excited...

Finally i enjoyed the lockhart stuff..Mainly because of Bonnie (who i love), and mimi (who i like again)...Sheffer has done wonders to Mimi's character...Patrick though..still can't stand him..But i can't wait for him to go down..

I have to say that I agree with you completely. I was loving the Lockhart scenes today. I'm loving Mimi again. Farah Fath is back where she belongs, acting and character wise. I love that Mimi is starting to become suspcious of Shawn and Patrick. It won't be long before Mimi stumbles onto some incriminating evidence.

Remember back in '03 when Tony thought Mimi saw something she shouldn't have at the mansion? Tony sent Bart to "off" Mimi, but Bart couldn't do it because he fell for Mimi (not in a loving way, more of a friendly way) and couldn't do it. That's when the rumors started that Bart may be Mimi's daddy. So glad that never happened!

You are so right. Hogan is doing a BANG up job of putting many different characters in scenes together (like Bo/Sami, Bo/Kate, Sami @ the Hospital), it SO great to see and it makes the whole show feel so much more together and integrated.

Your right about Roman...he just ain't cutting it for me...but then again he NEVER has (with Taylor in the role).

Love that the DiMera aspect is coming back to this show...I have always enjoyed it (minus Tony the Super Cartoon Villain after the Stalker storyline).

When Jim Lunsford did his walk-through as Benjy, he looked a lot like Scott DeFritas, who played Andy on ATWT. I'm looking forward to seeing him interact with Steve. And he is very handsome.

Great show today. Tons of family interaction, people working together that we wouldn't see under JER's pen, and characters using their brains. Plus, James Scott gets hotter and hotter everyday. The Bo/Sami scene was a real standout. I'm hoping Sami getting the support and love she needs from her family will keep her on the path to growing up some.

Man, what an incredible show today!! I have to concur with those who said that this was one of Hogie's best episodes by far. I loved all of the family scenes--especially Sami being welcomed back into the Brady family. Very touching. I had a few tears in my eyes after Roman told Sami how he was proud of her.

Then we had the EJ scenes. I loved EJ's facial expressions when Sami was leaving his apartment. He just looked so evil. I think that he may have known that Sami was playing him.....

I got a bad feeling that Kate might get hurt after Bo's warning that she be careful. I wonder how EJ will react once he finds out that Kate was working with John/Bo? Hopefully she doesn't get hurt too badly......

The one underlying emotion that I felt throughout today's episode was tension. Lots of suspense. I loved the underlying atmosphere throughout the whole thing!!

P.S. Thanks GBB for the link to that pic of Benji. He looks a lot better on the show than he did in that original picture we saw of him a few weeks ago. I'm looking forward to the scenes with Benji and Steve.....

Tomorrow's show sounds so good!! Can't wait to watch it. So how does the signing scenes with Benji work? Does Benji translate the signs that he makes? Does Steve? Are there subtitles? I wasn't watching Days at the time when Benji was on the show so I'm not sure how Days executed the Benji scenes.

Also, are Steve and Kayla the only people in Salem that know Benji? Why didn't the Bradys recognize him when he walked by them in today's episode? Do they know him?

The handle it the same way they did back when Kayla was deaf and when Benji was originally on. Steve just sort of translates as they sign. It comes across as very natural.
