"Marlena De LaCroix" a.k.a. Connie Pasalacqua once wrote a column for SOW before it became just a rag that shills for the networks. She was fired in 2001 - probably because she always shot from the hip. Well, she now has an online column. And I love what she said about GH. No spoilers that I could see, so I put this here:

Have to agree completely with her about Tuc! He is the one bright note on the dreary, plodding OLTL. Too bad he is flying the coup.

Outside of the promising if slow-building romance of Patrick and Robin, the rest of this thug-worshipping show remains heartless and violent (you call gun-totin' Jason and jailbird Sam on the run romance?).

I agree about Y&R. I love the show. I don't get the hate I see either here or with certain other critics.

On the other hand ABC shows are completely unwatchable. GH has been such a hideous mess for 5 years now. I see no hope for it. It's only slightly better without Pratt. Hope he really isn't messing with CBS shows.

I've shut ABC off until and unless they really start to clean house & fix the messes they've made of all 3 shows.

Laura's return only serves to remind viewers of one of the 2 worst soap storylines ever, the awful Rick Webber mess. The other being the lesbian rape on AMC.

I used to love her SOW columns and the magzine used to have much more creditbility when she was there. I am definately going to be checking her out more often!
