I got these spoilers from the anonymous poster at Dustin's again. Given that person's track record last time and the fact that s/he said that she worked for a newspaper etc and got them ahead of time, I'm labeling these as spoilers, not rumors this time.....

Also, here's a recap of the spoilers for that week from the previous spoiler post.....

"Stephanie falls apart over Max wanting to break up with her"

Um ... give me a break. Where's the STRONG Stephanie. Yuck. I hate that spoiler.

Love the rest though, although Abe standing by Lexie is nice, but annoying as hell. I can't wait to see her get fired.

Steve and Kayla exposed to a biotoxin. Very interesting but meh ... I want to see more for them.

At this point I don't care what the situation is that brings them inextricably close....I just want the show to start giving us a real S&K story. An air duct sounds....like a goofy place to be ;), like somewhere Reilly would have them end up....But Hogan *can* write, so *hopefully* the situation will bring out the characters emotions and fears. I am excited.

I just wonder how they will make biotoxin poisoning dramatic? Is Kayla going to be passing out or are they both just scared for their lives or what? I know this will lead to Nick "finding the courage" to pretend he has his memory back, in order to save Kayla. So that does sound promising....I wonder how long Nick will be pretending to have his memory back...

That will be the spoiler about Steve having to lie to Kayla to save her life, and it makes sense. I like the spoilers, especially the ones with E.J. wreaking havoc all over the place. Hopefull, he is setting upSalem form Stefano's return.

I like all of these.

Aything that gets Kayla and steve ina room or place without Billie slinking behind them is good for me. Though i would prefer flashes of real memeory and not just him faking it.... But i can see this leading to him falling love with her all over again...

Um... I get she kissed and made out.. and they are friends.. but why be devestated..it's not like they were some great romance.. and why is Frankie telling her.. i think I would be more pissed them upset over that treatment.

I really do detest Lexie... so I am glad she gets fired, But way to go Abe stand beside ehr as she screws people's lives YET again, and Fire Bi for fighting with that moron Patrick. Die Patrick! Die!

So are they going totry and say poor Patrick was not wanting to be involved with E.J and forced to say this baby was his? Not likely since he is screaming it to anyone who listenes... that should be everyone's first clue it's not.

Thank God for John and Bo figuring this crap out... Now how long till Hope kicks that scum to the curb with his sister? So Bofigures out he is Elvis Jr??? Can he know figure out the baby thing? i am curious at what they find to link the two together.

Has it been confirmed that EJ is Elvis? If so, I hope they bring John into EJ's storyline. After all, John was EJ's father for the first year of his life. There has to be some love there. I don't like EJ being Elvis, but I think it's inevitable. I can't see them explaining EJ as a DiMera any other way. There are too many coincidences.

Elvis John (EJ)

Wells is a 5 letter word that ends with S and has a vowel as the second later as does Banks.

EJ is from England and that's where Susan took Elvis.

Can't see Eileen Davidson being James Scott's mother, but we'll see what happens. Then again, AMC's Cady McClain doesn't look old enough to be Jacob Young's mother either, but they've worked it out.

Perhaps EJ is Tony's child? Is Tony capable of having children? For some reason, EJ's "friendship" with Sami reminds me a lot of Tony's "friendship" with Sami, when he first came to town. Tony pretended to be Sami's friend but was in cahoots with Lexie the whole time, waiting for Sami to have her melt down about switching Theo's paternity tests and believing that Brandon was Theo's father rather than Abe. I think EJ is doing the same thing that Tony did. I just hope that Sami doesn't crash through French doors and become mute after she finds out that EJ wasn't really her friend, which is what happened after she found out that Tony pretended to be her friend....

    • Perhaps. But would anyone have wanted The Doctors to turn into what General Hospital ultimately became?  Dear God in Heaven...
    • Thanks @EricMontreal22 that must be one of the last issues. Probably the best soap magazine.
    • I can definitely see that airing the same week as The Love Boat colliding with an iceberg and sinking while crossing the North Atlantic on the Titanic anniversary with a “Who lives and dies?!” Promo next to Mr Belvedere being blackmailed over his wanted fugitive status back in the UK

Agree with you both. I am also going assume that while Hotel may had some big numbers the first 2 seasons BUT the demographics weren’t great. Reason I say this is I distinctly remember my parents watching St Elsewhere and/or The Equalizer after Dynasty.    I still don’t get Hotel’s designation as a primetime soap opera either lol. ABC should have aired Paper Dolls in the 10/9 slot on Wednesdays in the fall of 1984 to give that show some more legs.    Obviously ABC was eyeing a double bill night in the same vein as Dallas & Falcon Crest and that might have worked better than leaving Paper Dolls to the wolves in an untested timeslot.
    • I tend to stay out of EP discussions, simply because I rarely know who EPs when. And they all have their good and bad sides. But how are we supposed to judge JFP on anything other than what we see? I didn't know she was a director or a music director. (and unlike say, Chris Goutman, I never saw her credited as anything other than an EP) Specifically in the matter of casting Crampton, she took credit for it (or at Crampton gave her credit for it, whatever) and it was arguably, one of the worst recasts of the '90's (and either as bad or worse than the actress she fired).  She lost two important actresses in '92 and still decided to kill Maureen.  She had a wildly uneven tenure at GL. It's no wonder she's polarizing. But it kind of proves a point--great soap is always a that rare combination of everything clicking at the same time.  And believe me, if I could bring myself to watch her male successors who were responsible for bringing back Reva and allowing her to eat the show again, or hiring Hunt Block, or being too chicken to stand up to stans who and hamstrung the show with boring couples stuck in the same repetitive stories (Vanessa/Matt, Chelle/Danny or Richard/Cassie, take your pick) not to mention San CristoHELL....I'd be more than happy to roast them on open spits. I guess we end up talking about JFP because she's in a period we can nominally agree was one of the last "best" periods of the show.
    • A degree does not make one an expert at their job, it just shows that you can follow directions from a technical standpoint.  It doesn't mean that they're creative. JFP was all about the look of a show without considering that technical beauty can only carry a show so far if there is nothing interesting to go along with it.  Equality means calling out flaws equally in both genders.
    • NBC or P&G was even fool enough to take a full page ad for two consecutive weeks in TV Guide promoting this horrible storyline.

    • JFP has had more defense for her decades of terrible producing than many male producers ever had.
    • It makes sense that she got a degree in directing. I've always said she should have been a director. I think she works better at the technical aspects of the show. I think her problem is the emotion/heart of a show.  She always guts the heart of the show she's on and she makes decisions that stop longtime viewers from watching a show. I don't think it's sexism to call that out especially as I've said similar things about Conboy. I've called out Rauch for much worse.
    • "Aunt Blanche" first appears toward the end of this episode, about 57 minutes in.

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.
