Members Adam
He is probably just a late bloomer. I am just glad they addressed he still exists in thus future world. I was worried he'd be one of those characters that goes up to the attic so to speak. Remember Judy on Family Matters?
Administrator Toups Posted October 7, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted October 7, 2008 Yeah, I thought so too. I thought Porter was like a 1 year younger than the twins. The best/funniest scene from last night's episode was the Gabi opening the door and seeing different things happen. That was brilliant and hysterical. Tom was pretty funny too. "I'm getting out of here before he kills me and blinds himself."
Members Darn
Last night was hands down one of the best episodes of the series.
Members detroitpiston
Last night's episode was hilarious! I love how Eddie's husband manipulates people, I hope they don't turn him into a psycho. Oh and I see they remembered Tom and Lynette had other children, and not just those annoying twins. I always thought he was the oldest, the boy playing him certainly looked older IMO.
Members Cheap21
I felt incredibly bad for Orson. He lost his son and Bree is so selfish, that she never really considered his feelings in all of this Danielle homeschooling Benjamin? Haha, I loved Bree's line about what will happen when he passes her 3rd grade level of reading I sad that Adam isnt around bc I was hoping that he and Katherine didnt get a divorce. Not bc I cared for them as a couple, but bc I liked him and wanted him on the show I forgot to mention last week but MJ said "who are you" when he saw Susan's boyfriend half naked at the house but wouldnt he have already seen him since he was supposedly "painting" the house for the past 4 months He already is a psycho! That was established in the first episode. Mrs. McClusky is so dead. She is too nosy and asks too many questions so did I bc the twins looked younger but it was mentioned before that they were in fact older. Thats why I didnt think there was more than a year's difference between the boys
Members detroitpiston
Yeah, but he's not going around killin folks and dumping their bodies in the woods or hiding them in the basement psycho, at least not yet. I just hope they don't make him so crazy that he has to be written out of the show, cause I'm diggin the character so far and how the actor is playing him. And can we plesse get a new opening? Members YRBB
Dave is such hilarious, amazing fun! I am loving McDonough's portrayal and I nearly gasped when he set his plan against McCluskey in motion... speaking of which, it seems that it's finally Kathryn Joosten's chance to shine, and I couldn't be any happier. She is amazing and she deserves this front and center story so much!
Members David_Vickers
I don't thnk DH would kill off Ms. McCluskey or axe Kathryn Joosten. I also wish DH would get a new opening. The new promo with the women and Madonna's "Fever" should be the opening IMHO.
Administrator Toups Posted October 14, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted October 14, 2008 Last night's episode was pretty funny! Here were some of my favorite lines: Danielle: Hey he's only six and he's already reading at a 3rd grade level. Bree: Well, what happens next year when he overtakes you. ---------------- Gabi: And don't worry, no one will hear about this from me. Susan: Hear what? Gabi: That MJ's getting beat up by a little girl. Susan: Well, a girl. Gabi: Are you suggesting that Juanita is fat for her age? Susan: Gabi, Juanita is fat for your age. --------- Susan: I was trying to teach her to not be a bully, something that she should've learned from her mother. Gabi: Well I'm sorry I was too busy trying to explain to her why MJ doesn't where a dress like all the other girls. Susan: This conversation is over. Tell Bob and Lee I'll pay for the dent in their lawn.
Members DavidEvanSmith
I have to agree with who thought that Dave's grudge is against . He hasn't really interacted with her yet, so I think they're letting him work his way through all the ladies until he finally has the entire Lane in the palm of his hand, and turn them all against her. I agree that Katherine seems to have little purpose right now. Sounded like they didn't have a plan for the character after last season, and she wasn't well-established enough for it to be "interesting" to see where she was in five years. So she's still just kinda there. No husband, no daughter. It worries me, because I really like Dana Delany. So they need to REALLY work at tying her in more, and building up her corner of the canvas. But I like that Edie (who was the island in previous seasons) is tied to more of the show through her husband's mysterious agenda. The five year leap really DID rejuvenate the show, it was a brilliant choice.
Members AMCHistory
Neil McDonough is just creepy as Dave, and I am loving it. I hate the fact that we all now he is not sticking around past this season. He is just as responsible for rejuvenating the show as the 5 year leap is. IA with the Dane Delaney issue. I think she needs a friend beyond Bree. I would also like to see interaction between she and Orson. I can see the two hitting it off. On a side note, how has Doug Savant aged so well. He is easily the sexiest man on Wisteria Lane.
Members marceline
I don't watch DH (I fell in love with him as QAF's Brian Kinney) but I hope it's okay to post this here.
Members detroitpiston
I hope this means we won't have to see him for a few episodes. Sorry about his accident though.

Members tina m
Wow, Dave is insanely creepy! I'm starting to get used to the fact they've fast-forwarded five years.
