This episode was a great showcase for each housewife.

Susan and Mike's reunion was touching, if you care about the couple, like I do. Teri Hatcher did a nice job with Susan's breakdown on the phone, and I laughed out loud at Toni, the guide. I liked when she called Susan on being a drama magnet. I don't understand all the eye rolling at Susan on this site, but I'm glad to know she has a lot of fans on other forums.

Lynette had the best material of the night. Tom actually didn't annoy me for once, as I really liked what he had to say. He would stand by Lynette even if she cheated. Felicity was wonderful, per usual.

I am finally really intrigued by something with Gabrielle once again, as this mayor is very foreboding. Season 4 ought to be great for her.

Glad to see the show got an 11.0, up from last week. Should keep growing towards the Season Finale in two weeks.

And looking at those ratings ... in November they had 20/21 million a week ... they then dropped to 18 and then to 15/16 ... at least it's back up there but ugh ... sad. I know the show's not going anywhere but the drop is sad.

It's also proof ABC sucks at their scheduling. They shouldn't do long stretches. Either premiere the show late (like late October or November) or do a complete run through of the episodes, like they are going to be doing with LOST.

I know it's not a popular idea but I think it'd make the show flow better. I know I tuned out for several weeks after the hiatus just because I could never figure out when it was new, when it was a repeat. Very annoying.

I was overjoyed to see Marcia Cross in my preview. Call me crazy and/or clueless, but I had NO idea she'd make it back for the finale, what with her being pregnant and all that entailed. Sooo, it would have been MUCH nicer if they didn't preview that and just surprised the aud.

The tom/lynette fight scene was very intense..Both Felicity and Doug did a great job..I'm just happy that Lynette is finally getting a meaty storyline...Her stories been boring most of the season...

The finale looks good, i'm so ready for Bree to back...I like Eddie, but there has been a large void with Bree gone..

Last night's episode was a marked improvement over the past several weeks since Bree/Marcia left the show. Personally, I have always enjoyed Teri Hather and Susan. Actually, I've never hated any of the Housewives; it's the storyline that I get tired of.

Here's to a great finale!!

Much better episode. I felt so bad for Lynette and Tom - and her comment about rather having sex during birth was hilarious! I hope this cancer storyline can bring these two back together - bc I was hating that threat of divorce looming over their heads.

Not really enjoying any other storyline that much - but the Gabby/Susan fight and make up was funny.

Carlos/Edie - eh - I enjoy Edie, but I'm not sold on the two of them. I like how Carlos really wants a kid, but Edie obviously isn't going for that.

Looking forward to Bree coming back!

My Bree is back! When I saw her in the previews, she reminded me of her old character Kimberly Shaw. I though, oh yeah she's back! I was wondering if she'd make an apperance before the finale

Susan was so wrong in this episdoe. She annoyed me as usual, and Im glad Gabby is getting her day

Last night's episode was really good. It moved the plot but also developed the characters, which is what every show should do.

I really enjoyed the Gabby/Susan drama, with the wedding plans. Susan was SO wrong for being pissed at Gabrielle. When she started throwing the flowers around, Gabrielle should have slapped the hell out of her.

Edie and Carlos are interesting, I have to say. I really felt for Edie in this episode. I'm glad they took this time to help her out and rounden out her character, instead of making her the one-note bitchy type.

The only thing truly missing about the show (besides my BREE, who is hopefully Hodge-free when she returns) is the younger set. It seems as if anything dealing with the teens on the show is dropped after only a few episodes. Julie, Danielle, and Andrew are all very good, interesting characters and I think they deserve a cut of the storylines.

    • Yes!!! Mona feels  like one of my aunts, love the way she carries herself. Loved seeing Eva pop-up at the gambling place.  Monday was all around good soap. Can't remember the last time an entire episode held my interest.  Loving the fallout and reverberations from Ted and Shea-Butter Sheila's affair

. As nice as it would've been to see Anita embrace Eva, I'm glad she didn't because we can squeeze a lot more years of conflict out of Eva, Leslie and the Duprees.   Lauren & Sheila, Viki & Dorian, Katherine & Jill all gave us good conflict for decades. Hopefully this follows suit. I understand the concern. Right now there's an issue of quality of black representation on shows more so than quantity of black shows. I'd like to see more predominantly black sci-fi, legal, political, supernatural or medical dramas over the typical who is sleeping with who. However, this is a soap, and this is what happens on soaps. White soap characters do these things all the time, but have the luxury of being seen as individuals, not representations of their entire race. Husbands/fathers like Todd Manning, Victor Newman and Asa Buchanan cheat, lie and swindle all the time but aren't seen as a commentary on white men. Black characters like Ted and New Dollar Bill should be able to do the same.

    • Even under the new writers, Jamey episodes are the shortest and the weakest A lot of people were unnecessarily clowny and bitchy today. There was a lot of fluff and filler too. And the dialogue was a little… ehhh as well. But welcome back, Kevin! It’s been a long time lol his return still seems really random but I don’t mind it. Philip’s actions make sense to me based on everything that’s happened to him lately and it could possibly set up more tension between him and Xander/Alex. And I wouldn’t mind seeing him and Kevin team up. I thought the actor did a good job too. Too bad that they couldn’t get Robert Benvenisti back though. I didn’t realize it in 2001 but he was hot

And, we got the word that Arianna wants to come home. I’m looking forward to that, and seeing her relationships with Gabi, Marlena, etc. on display and I hope that

As for Rachel’s birthday party… was Days hinting at something that we’ve been speculating about since EJ was shot?

    • Portugal qualifying was the only shocker. I'm really happy for Iceland. IMO, the automatic finalists – Spain, Switzerland and Italy – had the best performances. I love the studio version of Azerbaijan, but on stage, it was a disaster.
