Members alwaysAMC Posted February 19, 2007 Members Share Posted February 19, 2007 Another great show tonight. It was very Tommy-centric, which is ok as we rarely get to know him. I loved the flashbacks to the dad, William, and Tommy - it is all making sense now. I'm looking forward to Tommy and Holly working together....oh and nice to finally meet Rebecca! I think I'm going to like her!!! I'm finally warming up to Joe. I was always on the fence with him, but after tonight, I'm totally feeling him. I feel so bad for him and Sarah and their marriage. Oh and thank you TPTB for bringing back the Noah storyline that seemed to have been dropped from the premiere. Chad/Kevin - aww, I don't know what to think about these two. I really hope Michelle was just saying that - I don't want Chad to end up being the bad guy here. I feel for Kevin and his mixed emotions! Members Adam Posted February 19, 2007 Members Share Posted February 19, 2007 Finally they re-visted Sarah and Joe's marital problems and the fact that Tommy and his wife are expecting, now twins. This show tends to drop storylines for months then bring them back. Glad they did though. It was a good episode. Rachel Griffiths rocks! Griffiths' was excellent tonight. I definitely cite her as tonight's MVP. I loved how they brought back up Noah too. Joe was good too. Tommy is finally having a purpose, but I don't know. I kept sitting there thinking, "That's Saul's long-lost brother -- or somehow, that's the actor who plays Saul." I don't know why they had to cast a man who looked like the actor's brother. Kevin bores me so much. I'm with DruRocks: I think Kevin/Chad is over, but I hope they don't bring back Scottie...again. It was nice to see Tommy get some depth. I'm so glad they are not shying away from it. This is the first show to portray the "gay character" as a real person with real issues and a real love life, and not use them for comedic purposes. BRAVO! This perfect scene keeps popping into my mind.... Chad gets nominated for a Daytime Emmy and Kevin escorts him to the Emmy's, of course he wins, and during his acceptance speech, he tells the world he is gay and loves Kevin. If only.. Griffiths is AMAZING!!! Bite your tongue Jsf. Don't you know who that was???? That was the amazing Oscar/GoldenGlobe/Tony award winning Joel Grey! Come on, you can't do much better than a Tony- and Oscar-winning actor in such a small part. ITA that Rachel Griffiths owned the episode. I still don't care for Tommy, don't know why but I don't connect with his emotions like I do the rest of the cast. My Kevin is making a huge mistake with Chad, imo. Bi guys in my experience tend to flip flop between men and women. Kevin can't expect Chad to settle down. Kitty's poll numbers are going to remain low if she keeps moping about them. I think I'm going to like Rebecca, too. It might just be because she was so cheerful compared to the rest of the Walkers, but she seemed refreshingly different and I think she'll add some fun to the show. That was such a long hot kiss between the two of them! I was thinking OMG they let that air? I just remember Justin and Andrew's kiss on DH the way the lighting was and the camera angles, you couldn't really see anything. This was right up and in your face. EEEEEE! I miss Alias. They should bring on Jennifer Garner as a competator of Ojai to go head to head with Saul, reverse the roles for JG and RR. Dude, fake!Sloane is NEVER wrong! Yay! HOLLY FAN! I love Patricia Wettig, have since I first saw her on Alias. Loved seeing Rebecca walk in there at the end, and Holly and Tommy's "Oh crap" faces... Then when she said "He's so cute!" I just felt "ewewewew, brother, ewewewewew!"... Rachel Griffiths is such a phenomenal performer. Love her. B&S is one of those shows that will never get it's well-deserved praise from the media.
