OMG! Tomorrow is a day NOT to be missed.

Previews show Holden telling Emma Luke is G-A-Y!!!! :o

Forget Ann. That girl Ada (the one Luke refused to hook up with a few months ago) looks like she could be a spitefire. If ATWT believed in casting teen spitefires anymore, that is.

And Emma isn't crazy about the gays, so this should be interesting! I love Emma, I hope she still isn't okay with it. It's no fun (and not realistic) to have everybody accepting Luke with open arms. Of course I want Kevin and Emma to eventually come around, but not right away.

With Martha Byrne's return coming up this storyline is finally picking up steam! :D

Thank you so much, Roger. Before I download tho, how long is the whole thing? Because I'm on dial-up, so it'll take me a while no matter how long it is...

It's just their scenes, like 4-5 minutes. It's 3MB.

I was impressed with the location scenes today. Took up most of show, but stuff was happening. I also liked how they weaved in things like football, the lake scenes, etc. and not had it all heavy. You really got the feeling that a big group (and I'm glad they have lots of extras!) of kids are hanging, but they have connections and issues (like the girls with Kevin, etc.) Wasn't disappointed with the Luke/Kevin reveal -- don't think that can be resolved in five minutes. I hope Kevin doesn't get killed off (been my fear) and that we at least see how he deals with it (whether he is str8 or closeted).

edge, I agree about the Raven Lake scenes. It was so nice to see all the teens doing teen stuff. It was very realistic and I'm loving it so far.

Did anyone read the article about Van Hansis in the Fall Preview issue of SOD? He has a cool name:

Evan Vanfossen Hansis The name Vanfossen means "House of the Fox"

TUESDAY:

Wow - so I'm happy Jade is defending Luke and all, but girl needs to get a grip and go away like Luke asked her to. Kevin is being a jerk :( I hope there is a deeper meaning behind this...

Haha, this slasher story is such a throwback to old teen horror flicks...so fun.

Is that Holden's mom that he just told Luke is gay???? I've remember seeing her with Meg before, but never with Holden. She seems more worried about her being the last to know, than Luke actually being gay - meaning she is being selfish....but we'll see how it turns out.

Very heartfelt scenes with Holden and Emma today. Plus Emma,Meg and Holden and then Luke and Kevin and Luke and Will.

I love the cheesy-ness of the lake scenes.

The rest of the show was pretty good!

Today's show was written by Richard Culliton. He is a good successor to Josh Griffith.

ATWT has the best script writers going!

Man, there was nothing I didn't like about today's show. Even Lucy seemed more animated and interesting than usual!

I am really, REALLY enjoying the Raven Lake scenes, and I think the best part of it is that there are so many stories going on at once up there. I'm so thrilled they pulled Luke and his story with Kevin -- and Jade -- into the mix; he's needed to interact with the other teens for a long time now. I loved his conversation with Will in the woods, and I loved that it propelled both Will and Luke in their own storylines. Now that's some good story pollination. More of that, please!

Another good example of that was Emily and Henry; it was great to see her helping *him* for a change, and boosting his confidence and spirits and helping him go after Louis. He's been so awesome with Maddie, such a great big brother to her in this story, and it was nice to see someone support him in doing so.

I was actually surprised the Slasher is hiding the bodies, although it makes sense because he/she will be able to attack more people before getting caught. I just assumed everyone would start tripping over the bodies today (and thus beginning the freaking out part, always my favorite *g*) because for me, the best part of the murders has been the reveals and the screaming and watching Casey try not to hurl while he checks for a pulse. Hee. And I don't even like slasher movies!

I liked the Snyder farm scenes too, although Emma's acquiescence felt a little too quick for me. Meg made some good points, that Emma is just so sure she's right, it can be initimidating for her children (and grandchildren). I thought her hesitation might be more about her feelings about homosexuality, but I liked it better that they made it about her character instead; she was hurt because Holden didn't tell her, and they didn't tell her because they were afraid of her reaction. That made sense to me.

I really liked Meg talking to Emma. I too thought she was going to be angered by the fact that she has a grand-son that is gay; but I could really see how hurt she was that she was the very last to know about her grandson; I could especially see the hurt look on her face when Holden mentioned that Lucinda knew. Basically she was right to be hurt. The entire family knew about Luke and she is just finding out, so I understand how crushed she was.

The previews were awesome; I truly think that Kevin has his own secret. The slasher is getting bold, coming out of hiding in attempts to attack Luke while everyone is out on the lake. Now, however, after watching today's eppy, I'm confused; in the spoilers, it says that Maddie "loses two of the most important people in her life". So, now, I'm back to wondering which person is the slasher.

I liked Emma, but everybody is being too accepting of Luke. I would have liked it better if Emma was more hesitant.
