LoL - yeah this whole thing is beyond cheesy and obviously they didn't get much practice...but that's ok bc it's so entertaining me for some reason...

But yeah, just where the hell is Jade? I'm guessing maybe they want us to believe she's a suspect to be the slasher?

Yeah, I think the actors playing the teens missed the mark on this one. It's still a fun little diversion, though. But I can't WAIT to hear Carolyn Hinsey's remarks on this one.

Not only that, but Will must have had soundproofing on his back when he fell because I didn't hear ANYTHING. And did the slasher put something over his mouth as well? There was NO noise at all when Will was attacked. NONE. Gwen just turned around and his ass was laid out.

Dusty really irked me yesterday. Lucy is not a child. This attitude of Big!Bad!Evil!Paul manipulating and using Sweet!Innocent!Lucy to get to her father is just ridiculous. Lucy's well aware of Paul's motives and does have the power to say no lol.

Tom and Margo are one of my all-time favorite soap couples, and I'm beyond-happy that the show is featuring them more. It's been way too long IMO. They're such a neglected couple, which is so weird b/c up until Goutman took over, they were almost-always front-burner.

I always thought it'd be cute if Tom and Margo had another baby, probably a girl since they only have one son together and Margo doesn't have any daughters. They're both in their mid-40s, so it's still possible, and since women are more and more having babies are older ages, it would be realistic. I thought they would do it when ED was pregnant a few years back, but they didn't.

It would be interesting b/c if Margo got pregnant and Katie didn't, Katie would resent her older sister for being able to have children at an older age, while Katie, who's younger, can't conceive.

Also, didn't Lyla (Margo and Craig's mother) have Katie when she was older? I think that'd be interesting to tie it in w/ Margo, since they're mother and daughter.

I like your thinking! IF Katie can't have a child, maybe Margo could be a surrogate. Kinda like giving back since Katie gave Margo part of her liver a few years ago.

And yes, Margo and Craig were grown when Lila and Casey got pregnant with Katie. I'm pretty sure Katie was an "oops" baby.

I bet the person who made the phone call was Jade; since she's been M.I.A. since her hissy fit with Will on Wednesday. That's the only one that would know something was going on up there, besides the survivors, and I know Will and Gwen didn't make the call, nor Casey...so it either had to be Jade or better yet, the Slasher could have made the call in hopes that the cops would get there so they could disappear and leave Maddie as the suspect.

I can't believe it; I spoiled myself silly for this whole storyline, half of it was in very poorly-lit darkness and still with the same bland extras, and yet I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode.

They have done a really, REALLY good job with this storyline, especially pulling in as many characters as would be logical (hello! even a timely Hal mention!) and using them effectively. Even though the Tom and Margo stuff was thick with foreshadowing, it was also used smartly to push everything forward beyond the reveal of the slasher.

Jade, hahaha, I find it hilarious we haven't seen or heard from her in days, and no one has noticed or cared. How fitting, and how hurt she will be when she realizes that's what happened. Watch your back, Will!

Oh, it was so good watching all the adults slowly put the pieces together today. Very satisfying.

upsy daisy you said you weren't going to read anymore spoilers! Hard to break the habit isn't it!? This SL has kept me on the edge of my seat also. Alex, Zach, Jen, and Jesse have done a wonderful job with this material. Both these couples have so much natural chemistry together!
