Y&R Discussion for the Week of August 28

I just don't like the fact that a week later, she's with him, after all the anger she ahd last week towards him. A little unrealistic.

Oh, I understand what you were saying. In real life, I've witnessed some real mess going on in relationships and you think it's over one day and a few days later, it's like nothing ever happened. I've been in things like that before myself. But in reality, on the surface, everything seems ok, but inside, it's not. I don't know if they plan on going that deep with Lily, but that's what I was getting at. The thing I like the most about Daniel and Lily today is that they are TRYING. They are talking about what he did and confronting the problem.

Jack is going to be plagued with those visions of John; Jack was really low for what he did to Gloria in missing the funeral; but the lowest is his move to use his father in his bad state of mind; and the even sadder thing is that right after his father got better, he turns around and does something similar to Victor.

I want my Phyllis back..I wish they would hurry up and have her drop that turkey Nick...I still keep getting this feeling that the baby isn't Nick's...They are setting up house way too perfectly; and now that they will be telling Noah that he's going to be a brother, it's even more likely something is going to turn around and nip that relationship in the bud. Plus, Nick simply makes Phyllis dopey and that is not who she is; at least when she was with Danny, Michael and Jack, she still that that devious fire to her.

I don't think we will have too long to wait before Jill and Gloria are going a round or two...and trust me, Katherine isn't going to be all that quick to take GloHo's side over her daughter, regardless of how Jill might act in the process. I just wish these two women would wake up to the BS that Gloria is constantly blowing their way

Wouldn't it be interesting if Noah hurts the new baby somehow out of jealousy and anger over his parents marriage breaking up? I could see his little bratty ass hurting a baby. This would be the perfect way for Phyllis not to have the happily ever after of a life with Nick. Phyllis not being able to trust his only son around her daughter. That's a surefire way to stress a blooming relationship. I just don't see the baby not being Nick's. I thought about that for a while because we never saw him share the actual results with anyone, but it makes no sense for him to lie. And do we really need ANOTHER family in Genoa City to find out a child doesn't belong to the father? (Phyllis/Daniel, Dru/Lily, John/Ashley, Brad/Abby)

I don't think we will have too long to wait before Jill and Gloria are going a round or two.

Me either. That could be where Will comes in. He's been missing for quite a while and the Ashley/Jill triangle never happened.

I don't think Noah will hurt the messiah since he's all happy to be having a siter. I don't know what funky koolaid these writers are drinking, but the brat seems to be happy his Dad is shacking up with the Pod she devil. I hope the baby is Jack's so he can sue phyllis for custody. Maybe then she'll return to form.

As for Nick, he definately would lie. He wanted an excuse to bump uglies with Phyllis out in the open. Why not claim her bastard? And a little girl at that?

I wish Katherine would wise up and get a clue.

I was surprised Lily and Daniel were back to humping around too.

I hate this pod Phyllis. It's am irrational hatred that colors objectivity. Therefore, she's a fat cow. I think of it as a term of endearment along the lines of She devil, tramp, slut and whore.

LoL, I got cha

But by the time he found out Phyllis was pregnant, everyone already knew he was sleeping with her, Sharon being first. So he wouldn't need a reason, everyone already knew. Also, they didn't know it was a girl until last week. The paternity results came in well before that.

"Victor performed murder on an apple!"

:lol:And I'm sure he just committed felony assault on that punching bag. :o

I completely agree, Venus. Alarms were going off in my head yesterday when Phyllis's face lit up when Nick said he wanted to tell Noah about the baby girl. Something is bound to happen - either the baby doesn't make it or Nick isn't the daddy. Noah was just WAY TOO happy with the Nick/Phyllis relationship for this to end good.

I have agree with Q Steph...the way this show is going, everyone has been telling tall tales and outright telling lies to get what they want; who is REALLY say that Nick isn't on the bandwagon too. Like I said, this whole Phyllis/Nick relationship and their preparing for baby is far too perfect....Something is going to blow up in their faces either before or when that baby is born.

I don't see Phyllis with Nick and I sure don't see Jack sticking with Sharon for too long. Besides, Jack wouldn't have much to gain if his relationship progressed with the little trollop. She's not a true blooded Newman like Victoria is, so pulling a Brad Carlton and marrying Sharon would serve no purpose. Eventually Jack and Phyllis will be back together; I hope so too, because Pod Phyllis and her sugary sweet attitude is killing the heck out of me.

I know! It's been a while since we've seen Victor going at the old punching bag. But, other than the assualt, did anyone else notice something else that was different this time around? What happened to the "BOOP... BOOP... BOOP!" I miss the BOOP noise the old Victor would make.

That "mood rock" or whatever that Victor doesn't appear to be working on him.

Okay, going back to the assault on that punching bag. Is it just coincidence that Sharon's always around or the whole Sharon/Nick/Phyllis thing is brought up when he gets homicidal?

Did Nick, Phyllis, and Noah just have a picnic in the same spot that Daniel and Lily had sex not even 24 hours ago? EWW!!! I guess dining at Phyllis's wouldn't be so sanitary either, considering all of the different places Phick have been going at it like rabbits on a carrot.

But the truly LOL Moment of the Day for me was Judith Chapman getting all screechy and bugged-eyed during her verbal attack at Jack and Ashley.

Is it wrong that Y&R has me laughing so much lately? Is this daytime drama or daytime comedy?

You mean Jack and Ashley. I know. I was dying at her just waltzing around the damn courtroom like she was some high profile attorney prone to theatrics.

I LMAO too. It's both drama and comedy...it's a dramedy.

Dru, the reason why I think Nick lied is because he didn't want to be the bad guy. Even though he is a dick that should be put in boiling STD juices, he wanted an OUT with Sharon that wouldn't sting as much. If you notice, he's been insisting that it was SHARON who insisted on the divorce. That was true the first go round but when she brought up having another baby and having just leanred Phyllis was pregnant, he flung his little pee pee back in the redheads mouth. Besides, they are TOO happy. It's sickening. It's a set up.

Of course Vic is homicidal when it comes to Sharon/Nick/Phyllis. He some has been getting twice the juice and he's stuck with Nikki. If that's not hard up and enough to make you want to kill, I don't know what to tell ya.

Ooops. I guess I just want Jack and Phyllis back together so much, it just rolls off my fingertips. They belong together DANGNABBIT!!! LOL!

I must be the only one who is on TEAM GLORIA ABBOTT!!!

I am loving this storyline very much, I'm a huge fan of everyone involved, Jack is being a complete ass towards Gloria.

And it was nice to see the BITCH in the form of Ashley return today!!!! She was a bitch and I loved it.

Victor boxing session was scary, right up there with the apple earlier this week. LOL!!
