The past 2 weeks of DAYS have been really refreshing. Especially this week.

Did anyone get excited when Eve slipped and said Kate had told her about john and marlena separating..That was a great mini cliffhanger..

John has been more enjoyable today and yesterday than he's been in years! But Drake is also playing him.....less.....spastic? Or something. I don't know if it's just the writing.

Drake isn't doing his eyebrow thing anymore. I don't think he is... Either he is and I'm not noticing it, or he just isn't.

The whole show has a really different feel to it. I LOVE it!

I agree-this is the best John has been in awhile.

Put me on the Eve bandwagon too. I hope she stick around. New blood is always good.

Kayla/Hope were adorable today..love thier friendship

They were always so adorable together. Their friendship is awesome. I hope we see lots more of them together!

The Bo/Steve scenes were good too. It's so nice to see all these characters together again!! Reminds me of "the good old days"!!

Kayla walking in and seeing Steph and Steve hug was so cute.

Enjoyed seeing John today too. Hope we get John/Steve/Bo all working together in the future!! (more good old days!!)

Kayla is going to be Hope's new Jennifer. This disappoints me because I've always liked Hope and Lexie's friendship. I understand that the whole baby switch probably tarnished their friendship, but Hope did forgive her. They should be in more scenes together.

Kayla is going to be Hope's new Jennifer. It disappoints me because I always favored the Hope and Lexie. I know that friendship was tarnished after the baby switch, but Hope did forgive Lexie. I hope Kayla and Hope open up to Lexie. I think the three of them would be really cute together, shopping and gossiping around Hope's kitchen table.

Today's was really good.

I loved Chelsea/Austin. Two of my favs interacting. I can't complain about that. I feel awful looking at Peck though.

I like James Scott, and I am trying to force myself to like EJ because I know he is sticking around, but I can't. I don't like the character.

Eve is awesome. The actress is great for a simple role like that. She reminds me of Ari Z. Again, John/Drake is very different lately and VERY enjoyable, but I also don't think it's JUST the writing. Drake isn't acting like a baphoon.

Patrick, IMO, hasn't been acting/been written any differently. He's still really bad. Again, with Hope, I've never disliked a Brady/Horton this much, I don't think. I hope they turn her around ASAP. She's vile lately!

I loved Bo/Patch. I like them at Dune. Eighteen Year Olds don't belong at bars. It would have been nicer if it was the Cheatin' Heart though for nostaligia's sake.

As much as Chelsea annoys the [!@#$%^&*] out of me, I actually liked her today. But good Lord! Just when I thought Peck had improved, he went right back to sucking again! Rachel out-acted him, that's for sure.

EJ/Sami=well, it was a jolt seeing James' happy trail. I wasn't complaning.

Kayla/Hope were cute, and Hope and Patrick, well that's different. I wonder where this is all going to go.

That glove must not have a whole lot to do, hanging around the apartment complex all night.

Everyone is suddenly sounding more like themselves. The young people, dare I say, are seeming a little more realistic.

That is why I think Hogan/Beth will be good. She will make sure the writing for the characters is handled properly and true to history while Hogan handles the actual stories.

As for the flashbacks, I would like to see them during big events or something. I even like them when couples reunite and stuff like that as long as there are no SFX. The flashbacks I don't like are the repetitive ones or the ones of things we just saw like a half hour ago .
