@Mona Kane Croft Is it true that in general you don't like any of the AW comedy? Not the Cass-Felicia-Wally hijinks? How about Vivian? Felicia & Wally crashing a truck into a restaurant?

After hearing this I spoke to a writer about it & they said that off & on this has been happening ever since Fi-Core status was established. They also noted that largely other writers (and other PTB) knew about it but it wasn't generally known. The way they explained it to me is that before Fi-Core if a show hired a scab writer for regular non-strike time the union would punish them for it by fining them, as it was clear cut that they were taking jobs from dues-paying members. Now if they dismiss an old writer & replace them with a Fi-Core scab that person is also a dues-paying member, so there is not that clear-cut non-member taking a job from a member.

This is the one thing I'm hearing over & over from different people at different places. After people get beyond the first giddy excitement & think slowly, carefully, with intent, the echo is "Atlanta".

Me, I think it's on Dan & Chris. I think they didn't know what to do with Trina in the absence of Sprina. So, I don't think it's part of the coming changes. Instead I think it's the last of the problems of balance of the last regime. And, of course, I'm hoping for improvement.

As we merrily bounced along from one regime change to the next regime change I never ever would have been surprised at some new old character appearing. However, I think they were pretty clueless when it came to mining show & character history.

I think Marci Miller would be excellent, too, whoever thought of her it was a good thought. I have a feeling they want Julie Berman to come back & she is disinclined to do so. Oh, love her to death & back!!!

This is the most I think I have ever seen coming from Steve Burton! He had tears in his eyes, nearly spilling out. His voice conveyed deep feeling when he said 3 things: Carly? It's really me. I'm sorry it took so long. And, I know you're gonna kill me, but is Gina Tognoni the right age to be a Lulu recast?

I don't think so. Also Epiphany? Can't remember.

So am I, lol. To me, "Hotel" is more like an anthology series, like "Fantasy Island" or Totally true & it's not even a soapy drama.

Oh, I have very low expectations as to who they actually might bring back. I was only saying what I'd like to see, not that I think it will happen!!

Only one detail here, nitpick, Kristina said to Sam that as soon as she heard about Dante she was so worried about her. Okay, so, Sam's her sister & the Davis women are tight. But, uh, Dante is her brother. Was she not worried about him? And, to put a dot on the i, she had a scene with her father, Sonny, who is there because Dante is his son. But, instead of a connection, we were left with a disconnect.

I always thought Pat was the oldest, then Russ & Alice the baby. When the show began wasn't she 16?

Sunset Beach being on at lunch was so crazy! I wonder to this day what they were thinking.

The only thing I can think of that you will miss would be Spencer's funeral. Alexis gave the eulogy. It was a voiceover. They were outside at the grave & different people approached & laid a white rose on the gravesite. Liz's oldest son, Cameron, was home from college for this memorial. He & Joss comforted Trina, hugged, etc. Ava also comforted Trina. All of Spencer's family was there. I have the text of the eulogy if you'd like to read it. 1995 SOD Awards Women in Soaps montage

Not a soap but a very soapy family drama, did you watch "The Fosters"? "Kindred: The Embraced" is a short-run vampire soap, excellent, all episodes on YouTube. It probably would have been a continuing thing but the lead was killed in a vehicular accident. Kelly Rutherford, Jeff Kober, Stacy Haiduk, more I'm blanking on. And, "Hotel" just didn't keep my interest. I guess I watched 5 episodes.

I liked it a lot. Jim Reynolds was excellent. For the first time in ages Wendy & Tripp were good. Chanel & Lani very good. Tamara was incredible, top of her game. Really except for those 2 things best show since Julie told the history of the Hortons. Thursday Nicole & Holly, excellent also Eric & Holly. The rest of the week I was really seriously bored. I do wish someone would get a clue & stop trying to rehab Leo, though. It can't be done. Waste of time or annoying.

Not her forte. Not even in her comfort zone. That & crooked cop & Clyde sucking face were the negatives
