  1. It was said last week that the plan was to have Eric officiate. I believe it was when Andrew expressed appreciation that he was supposed to do so & was there & ready to do so but that they were regretfully going to postpone & that's when Marlena objected & then pleasingly insisted that they marry this trip, here in Salem.
  2. Lynn Hamilton, soap credits: 1973 Y&R Mae Dawson; 1985 RITUALS Maddie Washington; 1987 DAYS Rita Carver; 1989-91 GENERATIONS Vivian Porter; 1996 SISTERS Alma Hayes; 1997-98 SUNSET BEACH Selita Jones (uncredited); 1999 PORT CHARLES Alice Morgan. I only remember her on GENERATIONS! I tried but it's not there.
  3. I think I may just be accustomed to that because of DAYS ... Sometimes it seems like everyone in the town is related to every one else in the town. Edit to add: elsewhere I made a jokè. OMG, does this mean Billy Flynn is playing Daniel Goddard?!!
  4. Now, I get it completely. I wasn't clear, at all, what you were seeing. Ignore everything I said.
  5. I don't understand. If you'd been watching in real time, you'd have known who Harley got with child, with, if you see what I mean. The only not-knowers who the baby daddy is, would literally be people who tuned in after the boink but before ... I don't know when. BTW, you can fool the censors with a symbol thrown in or other things I'm sure you could imagine. Like $hit, or phuque etc. And, also Google can be wrong. So can IMDb & also wiki-whatever.
  6. 1985, Lead actress, no clips either. Not Lucci, surely not Gillian Spencer, Strasser? Not Dee Hall. Gonna go with Robin Strasser. Kim mentioned so many from the mic, Slezak, Larry Gates, etc.
  7. I've taken breaks from DAYS before but the first shows I watched beginning in 1966 were AW, DAYS & ATWT. DAYS is my only original still on the air. I stuck it out the last several years of RonC's HW tenure even though I hated his writing of the show so now I am actually HAPPY to be a daily watcher, so far, with the new writers but I do miss Nicole & I am flabbergasted that Corday did not make a $$ settlement with her. I read her case's brief, yes, even that long, and I did not see even one thing in it that wasn't proven to be so during the investigation of Alarr, so I cannot imagine there being value in going in front of a judge or jury!!! Yes, I knew that she was slated for GH when the second pregnancy derailed her. About it & the other just going by what I thought she said. Judith Light, to me, basically walks on water. One of my favorite pictures of her is actually of her & Doug Watson holding their Emmy statues. They both won the same year.
  8. Thanks for the prompt reply. I also love Ari & ED!!! Just not a Y&R fan so I honestly know little about Sharon Case's work. And, of course I love Maeve. But, my all-time favorite actresses are: Connie Ford, Anne Heche, Susan Seaforth-Hayes, Laura Wright, Tamara Tunie, Karla Mosley, Tamara Braun, Sarah Joy Brown & Sarah Lancashire. Besides all being great at their crafts, I doubt we could find any other common element, LOL! I just got through doing an edit DAYS 7-29-24 Eric & Nicole A Love Story Included are about a dozen flashbacks one immediately after the other for a little over 2 minutes. Salem, the Brady Pub, going away party, headed to Paris, waited so long & been through so much before they could finally be together with their infant son
  9. To me, though, that plays into the fact that nothing about the FRIENDS set-up would've happened in NYC!!!! So, the fictional setting was perpetually a challenge. It would've been better if they'd located it in a real fictional locale. The AMC connection is the only thing that has ever "read" New York to me. Edit to Add: Things about FRIENDS that made it impossible for it to have been in NY Never, ever, not in a million years would friends (people who knew one another ahead of time) have ended up, accidentally, living across the hall from each other. That trumps all other reasons.
  10. Pray tell, who might be some others who to you can, would they be?
  11. Typically I very much enjoy reading your fan commentary & today is no exception. But, there a few things where I do not agree. About Lucky, I, too, am bitter but if you ask me, which I know you did not, JJ can go kick rocks. About the umbrella storyline revolving around Gio, to me there is no one bad guy, I can see many pov's. But, if pressed I could say Blames #1 & #2 go to Lois & Gloria, then #3 goes to Brook Lynn & it follows that #4 & #5 go to those guys, Dante & Chase, finally I get to Lulu, which leaves her at #6. Tracy alone gets a + but when she said, this picture is your great-great-great grandparents, this brooch I'm wearing, that ring on Willow's finger, were my mother's, Lila, but NOW EVERYTHING here belongs to YOU. I could've kissed Tracy Angelica Quartermaine!!!
  12. And the reason Nancy Curlee left was because she was pregnant & she planned to return as soon as feasible BUT she got pregnant again, so she did not return, which I am sure is our loss. (So I blame Demorest.) But, the turnover in Both HWs & EPS on all 3 P&G NY soaps at t his time is P&G's fault. The exec turnover was nothing short of appalling. And, while I'm naming names, it was Les Moonves who recommended Black & Stern despite knowing that they had zero background in daytime. They even whined about what long hours they had to work. I mean, who does that?
  13. I absolutely concur that Maggie's drowning on Falcon Crest was horrifying!!!! Not a first for me, for anything, but perhaps a worst!
  14. That is one great interview. Personally I prefer the one with Curlee & one of the Mindys, which wasn't just a chat because it was a watch party. Anyway, I've talked about it before & that Mindy was Kimberly Simms. I can co-sign everything you say about him & he is stronger when it's a show he already knows. So, that would mean strong on ATWT & on GL. I also like him, he's a good guy, personable, easy to talk to, online I mean.
  15. Alan is something of a dilemma. He has such access. If someone is open to this kind of thing, it seems he can get them. (I know one person he could not, but no one can, so, ... ) Also, he seems to have a huge following. When I was trying to get a posthumous Emmy for Beverlee McKinsey, a number of people helped me by making posts supporting my effort. When he did, twice, I got literally a thousand new supporters. He was my top getter & I had VI, KZ, Hurst, Hinsey, etc. I wish someone could give him some tips IF he would follow them. (They do not award Posthumous Emmys.)
  16. From the May 1976 Soap Opera Digest, with thanks to Kathy. First, the cover, picture of Suzanne Rogers, headlines teased: All the Stories from All the Shows The Set of Somerset Ruth Warrick Sings Audrey Landers has a dilemma Dixie Carter, a new wardrobe, and last, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman
  17. I have long known that Erbe is one of ours!!!!!
  18. Yes, I've got all of all. I think you're familiar with my account in Rumble. You can find it there. Edit to Add: Filenames like this: Another World KBAY Telethon Pt1 & I have all of them with the last one being Pt5.
  19. At first they got better but that did not last. You are approaching the Locher Room sweet spot & then inevitably it seems they decline & that is what is the current situation, sadly. So, in short, enjoy this & for awhile but you will notice when it begins to decline. It is what it is.
  20. Michael easily could have said that some of his ink is covering burn scars.
  21. https://x.com/messages/media/1936175003541602436
  22. Did you see RoHo on PREY? Very different & basically their purview of sci-fi fans, which I proudly claim.
  23. As much as I go on about wishing to see the Lemay years of AW. That is also true of the Bill Bell DAYS years!! Peacock, we implore you, stream those episodes!!! You won't be sorry!
