  1. Star Trek: The Next Generation I've been wanting to start this. Hope it's worth it!

Cher will drop "Dancing Queen" on September 28th! Even though the title is a little predictable, dancing queen is just such a Cher album title! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! will be the first single
  4. Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Jean-Luc Picard for a new Star Trek series! Wow wow wow.
  5. Halfway through Season 4. What a phenomenal season it is so far. Not a single bad story. Very pleasantly surprised with Andrea's late 'bloom' and unexpected pregnancy. I never felt the show was giving her something good enough to do, and this against-type story has worked wonders and evolved perfectly. David's drug addiction has also been much better than I thought it would. It may not be over yet, but I loved how they had David's almost-arrest scare him straight. I didn't know Clare showed up this early. Spelling has really improved. And Brenda, ironically, is more interesting than ever. And Brandon/Kelly? Hmmm. They're setting it up very well so far. I hope this continues. I will be sad to see this season end. This is what I have been waiting for!
  6. Absolutely goddamn stunning song and performance (the voice does not belong to the actress). It almooooost makes me want to watch the movie.

Not what I was expecting - Cher, who stars in the Mamma Mia sequel, just announced her next album will be all covers of ABBA songs. I wanted new material, but that could be very, very good.
  8. You're welcome and thank you for watching! Really beautiful stuff.
  9. Mostly, no interest in writing one, either.
  10. Christopher Meyer (TJ, GH) is recurring on season 4 of Showtime's THE AFFAIR. He looks great and, from what I've seen so far, is very, very good.
  11. TWIN PEAKS gets shut out of most Emmy nominations. Most egregious: Nothing for McLachlan or TP as a limited series. You can argue that this was or wasn't sorta/kinda expected, but still... At least episode 8 is getting some recognition.

Ha!! And I was just gonna say, he's HAWT!
  13. Coop's return was exactly what I thought it would be. As soon as we saw him again, he didn't need to say a word: Just with the acting, you knew it was back. And then they played the theme music... Such a wonderful payoff. Classic soap opera - make them wait, make them frustrated, pay it off. Speaking of pay off, all the Chantal/Hutch stuff was worth it for that outrageous, hilarious scene with the accountant who killed them, the stupid FBI agents, and the Mitchum brothers wondering what the hell kind of neighborhood it is. Diane being manufactured genuinely shocked me. What a twist. I guess we never did meet her after all.... Janey-E realizing this isn't Dougie and thanking him anyway was very touching and the Mitchum brothers being told they have hearts of gold was oddly moving. And, of course, Audrey's dance with that unpredictable ending that still made sense in retrospect. A classic Twin Peaks cliffhanger.
  14. Nadine/Ed/Norma: Tears. Just tears. How he played with the viewers, making us think it wasn't going to happen after all, and then... So happy. And saying goodbye to Margaret was heartbreaking.
  15. Janey-E is Diane's half-sister!!! I GAAAASPED for dear life! Monica Bellucci!! Albert and Tammy initially thinking Gordon had a sex dream about her!!! That great stuff with Andy and the Fireman. The totally out of the blue story about the power glove. And Sarah's... um... Wow. Just wow. Also, terrific song at the end.

Faulkner, a lot of great Hotness! Thank you!
  17. Haunting, sensual, mesmerizing.... WELL worth the watch.
  18. Sorry, just saw this. Thank you!! More to come.
  19. Great news. Another Part every three months (3 parts in a row so far). Fingers crossed this will continue!!
  20. Precious, beautiful babies! I'm so happy for them.
  21. Why not? "The Conners: Discussion Thread" (with a "e") or something like that sounds good. I guess it's mostly the same show lol
  22. 2002 in general felt lethargic, although it was still classic Y&R. The casting left a lot to be desired, but the most disappointing part was that Bashioum didn't get to play it and thus the investment wasn't really there anymore and it didn't come full circle/never felt completed.
  23. Duchess might have been at most slightly sarcastic, but it was a sweet term of endearment. He didn't know Amanda was pregnant. He instantly assumed his fatherly role when he met Mack/found out the truth.
  24. This will forever be one of THE funniest things to ever happen.
