RE Young Marrieds,Variety has Walter Brooke set for the debut cast.I wonder if he ever made it to air or his part was recast before that time.

Jason 47's page has DOOL pre-empted a total of 206 times up until 2000,so it would be safe to assume that a lot of those carried over to AW. Still doesn't account for all of them though.

I think Lee Sheldon was finding his feet writing daytime,rather like Michael Malone in his early OLTL days. It was all probably too late but if Edge had hired a new producer that got the show....

Actualy a pretty bleak time for Days. Did the ratings improve at all during Nina Laemmle's run?

Quinn had so much story potential.In all the years she was on,she never was married,So a big romance/marriage story was waiting along with Thom's return after her marriage went kaput and you have two interesting women of color on the canvas with some history on the show.

I would have had Maisie hook up with Vince and play Vince/Mary/Maisie with Vince and Maisie marry and stay around after Denise Alexander left.They could be tentpole for the McKinnon children who should have stayed around longer than they did.

I think Holly's cellmate was was Clara,not Carla. Re Scott Conrad ,Iris and Rex they are already accounted for in The Doctors lists.

Like Clarice,Quinn was another character that lasted through several writing/producing regimes before getting the boot.
