Being able to watch these episodes shows how incomplete and sometimes inaccurate summaries of that time were. I have never seen mention of Althea's amnesia, Nick's engagement to Liz or Penny's behaviour in mentions of the Nick/Althea story. Soap World by Robert LaGuardia has summaries about Mike and Liz involved with psychedelic drugs which leads her to climbing out onto a highrise ledge.Did anything like this occur in 67 before the Retro reruns? We saw Liz on the ledge,but that was in totally different circumstances. Makes me wonder about other shows and story points that have been neglected or forgotten. We see character names in cast lists that are never mentioned in summaries.

How long was Lee off the show? When he returned,had Carolyn died? Was there any mention of Bobby and Samantha?

In that clip,Sunny is talking to her father Ted.Sunny's sister Laine is in the scene with Buck.The guy staring at the painting is Liza's brother Gary. This was all the Corrington's work. They did a great job of bringing in new characters and tying them to established characters,but the new structure they put in place was quickly dismantled. Whu Laine Adamson was dropped so quickly is a mystery,She was the mother of Stu's great grandson. And Chris Lowe played Eric for many years.

For those viewing at the time: I know Colenback was very popular in his first stint with the whole Dan/Liz story. Then he was dropped. Was he fired? Or was his contract up and he decided to leave or TPTB (Irna) decided to drop Dan? When Dan returned it was John Reilly who was popular as Dan in the Dan/Kim romance. When Colenbeck returned did he have the same chemistry with Kim/Kathryn Hays? Was his Dan vastly different to Reilly's?
