  1. There was Indigo, Gloworm and the Underground that all fulfilled that brief and were dropped. Of course the club will be a success, probably A list celebs will fly in just to attend. Josh loves to have everybody fabulously successful for some reason. Wasn't Noah fabulously successful as a photographer? The show could retitled The Young and the Restless in their careers.
  2. Pretty much covered it. Maybe a dream appearance from Dina. Possibly Shemar might be talked into a pop in and Daniel could show up. What is Tonya's realtionship with the show? Could Olivia visit?
  3. A new logo? Probably will include '50' in there somewhere. Really they need a new headwriter/producer.
  4. Really these lists should have been titled 'Actors who have played the role for a long time' I could definitely see another actor playing Devon.
  5. Including Melinda Fee on that list is odd. She was a temp replacement and nothing more. Might as well include Giselle McKenzie as Katherine and Robin Eisenman as Nikki. These people are brought in as placeholders only. I would place Amelia at #1. She changed the character of Victoria completely and has never been able to achieve what Heather Tom brought to the role or really refashion Victoria into something else. I'd add Jason Thompson as there is nothing of the loveable screw up in his portrayal. He would have been better as an Adam recast. Gina made Phyllis more tolerable for me. I'd include Kelly Kruger as Mac and Ryan Brown as Billy. Mac could still be part of the show had they gone with a better recast. Maybe Victoria Mallory as Leslie.
  6. Ok this is Trevor St John's character. The way that is worded makes it sound like it is someone who has been on before. The connections to those characters mentioned could be unknown up until now. This could be moderately interesting at first but Josh will mess it up. Is the Audra character a long term addition?
  7. A 1972 TV by Day interview with Judith Barcroft lists her role as Anne Wingate Davis. I have seen her listed as Anne St Cyr Maryin. Anne was married a few times previously I believe. Does anyone know her full name and marital history?
  8. Diane Kagan Another World Grace Shaw 1994-95
  9. In a 1975 interview Beau states he had a 'a brief bit' on GH in 1969 . Could this be the same role?
  10. Meg Myles played Mavis Stone on SFT. Alice Hirson was Maevis Anderson (Miss Ellie's bestie) on Dallas.
  11. Ted Danson Somerset Dr Larsen Somerset Jerry Kane temp replacement for James O'Sullivan
  12. Stephen Yates went on to play Jamie on AW for 2 years and his last IMDB entry is 1992. After that???
  13. Requests Diane Kagan Brett Stimely Elizabeth Kemp Susan Adams
  14. Unfortunately Fishman as an adult actor had zero comedic chops. There's no need for DJ to be around or his dull daughter. There are too many characters as it is. Just have DJ and family move away. The sassy Christian wife was a poorly conceived character also.
  15. It's puzzling that GL had trouble casting the role of Hope as she was an important part of continuing the Bauer legacy and at that time GL needed younger characters to keep with the times, so Hope was a natural to take center stage. ATWT aged up Dee and Annie Stewart and quite successfully and SFT scored with Meg Bennett as Liza. Here's a shot of Robin as Hope

  18. Also in 74 Leslie got the lead in a CBS sitcom pilot 'Another April' but that too failed to sell. By 77 she was ready to go back to daytime.

  20. Neal was introduced at the tail end of the previous regime and when Whitesell and DePriest arrived they dropped him for a more 'attractive' brother, probably as soon as his contract cycle allowed. I'm sure Lupone was a fine actor but to be cast as a leading man twice (also Tom Bergman on SFT) seemed an odd choice. Don't know why they made Adam a Cory also. The never before mentioned branch of the family seemed false. Perhaps Adam could have been a returned Dennis Carrington/Wheeler.
  21. Fabulous. Robert Loggia and Lynne Adams in living color!
  22. With Annie part of the problem was that she had 3 marriages under her belt in less than 10 years (Beau, Brad and Jeff) and they also saddled her with quadruplets so there wasn't much left for her. Dee was a different story. She had been married to John only and her return had many possibilities. She could have gotten involved with John again, and there were several other guys on the canvas that were romantic options.
  23. After success in the UK as a comedy performer and movie success in the US, Dudley Moore had two attempts at sitcom success on CBS with 'Dudley' and 'Daddy's Girls' both of which flopped badly.
