I'm having a wacky GL flashback as "Ross doesn't trust AM..."

WNBC in NYC made the decision to air network game shows from 3-4 pm instead of in the morning. Santa Barbara was switched from their late afternoon slot to noon. They were targeting Santa Barbara fans who watched ATWT because now GL and SB weren't in competition. (I used to watch SB after school, and once it was moved to noon, I could only see it if I home sick.)

On some episodes, the stories and people that interest me aren't even mentioned in the summary. That is kind of frustrating, but I took the chance hoping that I would enjoy the material. For some people connecting the dots is easier than others...(not a criticism)

I don't get why Knots isn't on one of my "old television" channels, as then I could watch the show. I hope I can find that YouTube parody. I know of the show, but for most of its run it was after my bedtime.

I wonder if Mother's day and the coupon also helped to convince people to buy the last ten Oakdale episodes. I have so many other things to watch that I haven't ordered anything from SoapClassics since the Bauer DVD set.

I have a question are a lot of the episodes of KL uploaded to YouTube? Only the first two seasons are available on DVD, and I never really watched it.

I like how intelligently the fan letters were written for the most part. It wasn't fawning over performers hotness. I wonder what happened to these kind of viewers. I like the whole pyramids are triangles with depth.

While you could embed the video it won't play on SON...weird. Yes there was another Rick before MOL, he didn't work out, and they hired MOL who was the guy who did all the auditions for the Beth/Mindy actresses. Gene Palumbo is someone I am familiar with due seeing his name in the GH credits over 20 years ago. Don't know anything about L. Virginia Browne.

If you compare Barbara Norris to her role as Bridget on Another World, you can see that Barbara Berjer could show different sides in her performances. So I can totally understand not like Barbara Norris as she wasn't the most sympathetic of characters.

I'm being cheap and waiting until there is another set to buy as I used my coupon last week on the GL Phillip discs which I have yet to receive. I'll get the Lily/Holden one eventually, but I already am backlogged as it is, and it would be nice to combine shipping costs.

What is on the Dutch ATWT disks is it same as US, the packaging looks pretty! I'd be okay with occasions, but that should not be the main thrust. For example around Thanksgiving time, they have a few holiday episodes to celebrate. Otherwise I think the themescould be avoided unless they are a lot more specific.

Cool it is off next purchase so those of us completeists (sp) who have everything don't get penalized for being ahead of the curve and having the disks already.

People hated Molly for the first year or so. It was weird, how suddenly people started to not hate her. The single DVD sets have one issue, the disk is hard to get out for some reason. Other single DVDs I own are easy to take in and out, but the ATWT and GL ones not so much. I did not have a problem with the multi sets. I also thought it was strange how the large GL set has a white banner border around the cover. BTW have the Carjack sets started shipping yet?
