I had seen this earlier today but wasn’t going to share until I saw official confirmation lol but this was the pic I kept seeing plastered all over, he looks great. Can he act though?

All that needed to be said quite honestly lol. I did see today on various social media groups rumors of and pictures of an alleged Chance recast (a former football player turned actor?) but I won’t share it until I see official confirmation.

That would be interestingly refreshing and a nice change of pace for the show for once. Around 2003 ish I feel like that’s when the show began casting on name recognition only, hence the endless parade of name recognized leftovers from both daytime and primetime every since that have come and gone or still on the show to this day.

LOL gay man here too but as soon I brushed up on her filmography and immediately clearly remembered which X-Files episode she was in and was “oof!”. I do wonder how Krista was chosen though. I would have thought at the very least an actress with a lot more standing in the same way as Rena Sofer or Denise Richards (think Annabeth Gish or Ashley Judd lol) would have been cast as Taylor. I wish her the best of luck for sure.

Was that when Billie was having nightmares of Curtis taunting her during her heroin withdrawals? I thought Allen did a good job there. She also did a good job as Billie with her daughter’s death in the Bayou but outside of that the writing wasn’t there for at all, especially making her the bad girl in the triangle with Bo & Hope. Oddly she clicked with JT’s Roman and I did like her spark with Victor Webster’s Nicholas and the triangle with Kate so course they wrote her out when her contract came up. I think Krista’s most famous role is still the movie Liar Liar unfortunately. Baywatch (where she was paired up with Jason Brooks), Charmed, and The X-Files all used Krista for her body and not her acting.

Probably trying to make 50+ something Phyllis sound all sexy and naughty. Yikes. LOL the “horrible thing we did in NYC” between Theo and Kyle that turned out to be nothing Important at all? 🤣 It also sounded like the time Noah and Eden had some horrible breakup in Paris that we never found out about. As for the B&B spoilers I was a bit surprised Finn’s parents were coming back, I figured Thudley had already washed his hands of them especially Ted King after getting Deacon back. At this point who cares aside from Finn himself? We don’t even know much about Li herself.

First up is Y&R: Billy and Lily vow to take down Newman Media, but their plan backfires when an indignant Jill steamrolls back into to town to put them in the place! Phyllis is torn between Nick and Jack as both gentlemen begin to second guess themselves about her. Jack is taken aback when Phyllis opens up herself (and her legs) to him! Sutton’s latest nefarious actions against his family causes Amanda to become unhinged and seek revenge! Victoria finds herself at loss when Ashland faces a major health crisis setback! Can Nikki save the day? Tessa and Devon must put on brave faces as they watch the women they love in Mariah and Abby completely unravel. Noah vows to protect himself by keepIng the truth about his lover and heartbreak back in Europe a deep secret! Adam and Sally become closer, but the specter of a bloodthirsty Chelsea returning looms over them! Meanwhile Sharon can’t keep Adam out of her head as she realizes she is obsessed with him! As a dreary Thanksgiving approaches the families of Genoa City look to find solace in what they are thankful for… Next up is B&B: Deacon/Hope/Liam/RidgeBrooke: In November, we will see Deacon making progress. He is determined to have Hope in his life. Brooke and Ridge are against this, but in time, Brooke will start listening to Hope and realize what it's been like for Hope to not have a father in her life. Hope is set on getting to know her father. She thinks her father is pretty cool, with a wicked sense of humor. He's made some mistakes in the past but he's got talent and is driven. In the past, both Sheila and Deacon have broken into the good graces of the Forresters clan for periods of time. Right now they are outsiders who are trying to get back in. Deacon will turn Bridge's life upside down, which will present a big challenge for Lope. Sheila/Steffy/Finn Steffy and Finn have done a good job of setting rules for Sheila. It stands to reason that Sheila will have a harder time breaking through with Sinn. A lot of this is going to land on Ridge's shoulders. With Sheila and Deacon, that is going too cause a lot of conflict. The Finnegans We will again see more of Jack and Li because of the secret Jack kept from Finn and Li (he is the bio father of Finn). The affair he had with Sheila in the early part of their marriage will more than likely be revealed in November. Eric/Donna/Quinn Eric and Quinn are both committed to their marriage so they dealt first with the affair, then the ED and now Donna and the Logan women think that Quinn is not worthy of Eric and that Quinn is a terrible Forrester matriarch! And should never have had her portrait over the fireplace. So we will be seeing Donna, Katie and Brooke trying to get Eric to realize that he deserves better and just maybe that person is Donna. Carter/Katie There will be an attraction between them and Katie will see that he is the opposite of Bill. Thanksgiving: This year they are doing a traditional family Thanksgiving, with a little humor involved and fantasy. It will be a touching show and will also be fun to watch.

I wish ED was back again as Kristen following her turn on Beyond Salem but at least the SH and DF scenes went well.

Tylo is both lol but also loathes what the show has become. It’s probably for the best. 1996 was a pretty traumatic year for B&B and both Tylo and KKL as they both left the show and both had their personal dramas that was beyond their control; certainly HT should not have been fired from Melrose Place the way she was, but it seemed that all those “Hunter Tylo contract negotiations crisis” headlines that ran later on 1999-2002 the show probably grew tired of the power plays and drama that’s why Taylor was killed off in 2002; I think Thudley wanted Taylor back but being the petty writer that’s why Taylor’s character was trashed overtime, similar to how Brooke was trashed following KKL’s own drama about almost leaving the show.

Or Liam himself FTW! 🤣 I could totally see Thudley doing a cougar story for Allen’s Taylor lmao.

Tylo turned down a return to the show back in summer 2019 and mocked the show for the baby switch story on Twitter not surprised it was unsuccessful. I am a bit surprised given the tumultuous relationship with Tylo over the years Taylor was never recast during the 2014-18 period. Too bad as Hunter actually had chemistry with TK Ridge there in 2018.

Ever since last year when Victor helped Jack find Dina’s lost necklace back I’d say their relations have generally thawed and both have developed a grudging respect for each other. It’s not the first time either Jack and Victor were fairy cordial at least in the workplace from 1994-early 1997 when their rivalry cooled off for awhile. I agree as Billy is insufferable the way he is written. Jack 2.0 he is not. I think he could have had a viable rivalry with Adam but both characters have been trashed by previous writers—having Adam be dark and evil from 2009-2013 while constantly having Billy being a anti-hero jerk did neither characters favors. Like ATWT and Days, the ghost of Hogan Sheffer haunts the show to this day. Ugh.

LOL it’s pretty bizarre. Reading the ATWT synopsis reminds me that ATWT reads and sounds stagnant with the show about to stumble as the Soderberg’s time as HW’s came to a close. Although Joyce’s story I believe we are coming up on her shooting Don when she had hoped to shoot Ralph dead instead? Re: Days wow the Samantha story escalated very quickly didn’t it? It had to be one of Days’ first wacky plots and reads as just wacky all over. Is any of it available to watch at all? I wonder what longtime Days viewers thought lol.

I couldn’t imagine Ashley Benson’s Abby doing any of that either.

ATWT: I’m glad to finally see when Chuck Shea’s occurred as I’ve always been puzzled what year it happened. I think it was a mistake to kill off the character

I wouldn’t be surprised if one day they introduce some de-aged Stefano played by some washed actor like Frank Stallone 🤣 I thought they had let Stefano RIP until they pulled that “Stevano” story which was awful.

Heinle must have fallen asleep from being bored by the show lol. However I’m glad to see Jess is on set! 🥰🥰🥰

I know someone answered it already as early as Brooke went after Eric but for myself I would say sometime in 1996 when Brooke went crazy nuts with the dolls. I enjoyed the villainous turn Brooke took there 1997-98 but after that ended she became absolutely trashy between Brooke’s Bedroom and embracing herself as the Slut from the Valley. Nancy Sloan’s Katie was annoying throughout the 90’s only appearing as the babysitter for Rick, Bridget and CJ and being a ditzy live in sister/roommate talk to for Brooke. I swear I remember one time after Rick and Amber had their car accident and kidney donation Katie was helping them and wearing an outfit that looked like a maid’s outfit a la Esther on Y&R. I think the reason Sally and Macy were a success was because they were some Bell created uniquely for B&B and not a rehash of something Bell had done for Days and Y&R before.

It is nice to see GT’s Phyllis again but what a weird time to pick to start with Y&R reruns with starting in September 2018, especially since Ashley would soon depart, the pointless Dark Horse story was beginning, and the Rosales invasion was about to happen. Oh well the bad thing is looking back three years ago at least there was story and drama as tawdry and repulsive as it was.

Thank God I hope this leads somewhere! After they put the Dark Shadows on Pluto TV I was hoping something for Y&R would come next. Fingers crossed, I’ll have to check this out when I get home. Edit I just checked it out on my app, and the episode airing was #11509 from 2018. So weird to see Brooks Darnell as Nate again with the forgotten Shauna character.

They kissed way back in 2010. Phyllis saw them kiss but only saw the back of Christine and thought it was Sharon. Phyllis later found out it was not Sharon but never did find out it was Christine.

LOL as soon as I saw Xander and Justin at the beginning I groaned lol. So I was pleasantly surprised when we got where we left off on Friday with Marlena saying yes to the movie as I had figured nothing possession related would be on today lol. I really have no idea where having all four of them jail is going because right now all four are complete dead weight to the show. Flashbacks and nostalgia really do make all the difference don’t they? 🙂Days has always been excellent with nostalgia even going back to the Langan days.
