  1. I saw she included that LM bit in there and I was like “Why is she even botherIng to go there”? I do wonder now that’s been over a decade if she is seeking for closure on her daytime career that she never properly received back then. VW’s comments? Funny that a story of bad/rude behavior at a Rhode Island ice cream shoppe in 1994 followed her years and years.
  2. Fri December 22 1989! I saw the original end credits on the old WOST site with Dan Region giving a lengthy narration at the end. Weird they used the 1993-99 end credits style but used the same Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas jazzy instrumental as used in the original closing when they reaired this.
  3. Wow, that’s interesting! I wonder anyone ever recognizes her as Harley anymore. Also surprised she goes by Beth Christian given how messy the divorce was.(Sidenote: She had extramarital affairs with both actors who played Mallet. She really live as Harley didn’t she) Glad to see she’s found a good calling, hope she’s found some peace too. LOL she’d probably like to erase. Also remember when she auditioned for the role of Mary Jane/Patty over at Y&R?
  4. Thanks for sharing @DRW50 was glad to see the December 10 1993 pop, I love that era on the show especially with Connor being established as one of Oakdale’s more sophisticated leading ladies. Glynnis was awful as Margo in that ep. Speaking of awful, I remember some of those terribly cheesy early 90s commercials, specifically those Tide ones with the dramatic music and moments LOL. I’d this sums it up well Carl! I liked her as Jessica but her storylines past 1996 with neo Nazis and Kim’s car being blown to smithereens in a car bomb were non-existent. She was pretty much the town lawyer for everyone until Tunie came back and they started writing for Jessica again. You nailed it! That sorry tale was so disregarding to Margo and Jessica; they couldn’t have had single women have the hots for him? It was huge low for Jessica, especially since she was still reeling from Marshall’s “no means yes” rape in 2002. Unfortunately Oakdale turned lily white after that.
  5. From what I recall SSH said in her book that a young blonde ingenue who was unwilling to heed the advice of those older and wiser and who eventually departed for prime time (Charlotte Ross?) and another young female who would sit in the makeup trailer discussing the bar fights she'd been in the night before (no idea who).
  6. Alison Bancroft has got to be up there as one of Y&R nastiest antagonists(especially after her later crimes), her back and forth between Katherine about her marriages and sexual relations is epic! Especially when Katherine implies Alison might have only had sex once in her life LMAO! Didn’t she and Earl end up separating?
  7. Thanks @feuxdelamour! I looked up at your list of repeated episodes on CBS and that list looks very accurate minus a week in 2010 when Y&R reaired eps from 2005, 2008, and 2009 again but I can provide those dates for you if you’d like. I know Episode #8279 aired 12/09/2005( or 09/12/2005 depending on your dating system🙂) has aired an additional 4 or 5 times!
  8. Thanks so much @YRfan23!!! I have saved your 1989-1995 links but figured there was a lot more you’d previously shared floating out there 😀
  9. Going back to those 1988 episodes @YRfan23 posted a few pages back here’s your footnote of the day: One of the eps made mention of the elusive Jason Monroe, who was portrayed by Capitol vet and soap hopper Nicholas Walker.
  10. TBH for a really great fashion week they show show the full week of Lake Como from 1997 or the Portofino episodes from 2002. I remember B&B even aired a special BTS episode hosted by McCook about the 1997 for Thanksgiving that year; that whole week in late October brought in big ratings.
  11. Not sure, although I know Northcross was well criticized in the soap press. As for Trachta there were actually organized protests for his firing in 1996 in front of Television City LOL.
  12. My five picks for a Stephanie week? 1. Stephanie’s Homeless story in 1991 2. Stephanie fighting with Brooke over BELief 1993 3. At least one face off with Sheila from either 1996 or 1998. 4. Stephanie’s “haircut” in 2003 5. Stephanie kicking Eric in the groin 2005
  13. Bobbie Eakes said she had to refilm Macy meeting Thorne with Trachta on the fly the recast happened so fast.
  14. I find it fascinating that the particular background score in the closing scenes with Deirdre Hall in them was used all the way through the mid-90’s. There’s something to be that, but I can’t remember the specifics at the moment.
  15. That’s a good question. He might have been his first couple months and then got bumped off. On the flip side I did some digging around and found that by fall of ‘97 LeBlanc(as was Van Duden) was listed as recurring yet Gordon Thomson was on contract playing his lawyer character.
  16. Interesting point. I’ve wondered if SSH regretted her 1990-93 tenure at Days from his disparaging remarks about working with Charlotte Ross to Julie playing matchmaking for the Scofield’s, a family who tanked Days ratings while over on Y&R Joanna Manning’s daughter was getting her biggest story ever during these years.
  17. So I’m curious about something on the Horton family tree: “In 1991, Julie mentioned that Steve was still living in Europe and had a son named Spencer from an affair. Not much else is known about Steve's current whereabouts.” Did the show ever have plans to introduce Spencer? Even more of a long lost Horton relative than Scotty Banning lol.
  18. I wonder if people counted the opening credits? That 1993 Nikki opening was the first to get updated in June way ahead of the others. Sad Leanna probably didn’t a farewell ep unless someone mentioned it later on at all but I don’t think Carole got one either that year.
  19. Lol going back to that 1996-97 period, was there any reason Bell & Davidson made it into all four of the opening sequences being used at that time?
  20. Thank you!! I was looking through your February episodes to see if I could find it as I thinking it was Feb. Did she even make any return visits later on in 92 or 93? Always been curious why most places cite 1993 lol. Agreed! The best thing that the show did as the story reached its denouement was throw Jill into the mix. Walton and Diana Barton’s Mari Jo stole the show from that point on.
  21. Does anyone by chance when Leanna Love’s final episode aired during her original run? Trying to track a concrete date down.
  22. Leo Deschanel? I don’t even remember that character at all had to google him up LOL. Off-topic but @DRW50 who on earth was the Living Legend-Not at that point in time? I know the Time one is Y&R.
  23. Not sure this has been shared before, but here are the May 1997 Episode Counts, of course Lauralee is #1: MAY 1997 1-30 MAY. 22 EPISODES. 1. Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) 18 2. 24. I think you’re right-I think it appeared on screen in early 2010 when an episode devoted to Sharon having nightmares aired.
  25. LOL, is this the demon picture of Sharon that CBS SID ran back in 2009 predicting she was becoming possessed?
