  1. Super short-sighted as usual. They make a ton of bank off of Roger especially, but that well is about to run dry, and they don’t have that many backups, especially on the men’s side. The networks lavish airtime on male American players who just aren’t in contention for majors and probably never will be. By the way, what ever happened to Jared Donaldson?
  2. Glad that Heather addressed and squashed that incident in which she accidentally liked and expressed agreement with an Instagram comment referring to Eboni as a “race baiter.” Queens of Bravo tried to give legs to that nothingburger. And Heather was right that her (now-deleted) agreement with the IG comment didn’t even really make sense in context. That said, I’m tired of “teachable moments” on RHONY right now. It’s too heavy-handed. It’s like they felt they had to tackle 12 seasons of exclusion in a few episodes. Heather’s apology to Eboni on WWHL:
  3. 2016 is the last time there was a non-Nadal final (when Djokovic won his first, over Andy Murray). When Nadal makes a Roland Garros final, it’s almost a foregone conclusion he’ll be holding the trophy, so there’s less reason for people to watch. I’m sure that 2013 semifinal was that intense five-setter between Rafa and Novak.
  4. Eboni’s a little annoying. She’s losing me. We knew good and well Leah wasn’t leaving when she could hog camera time.
  5. That’s fair, considering AMC felt like they could only nurture a handful of actors (Minshew, Mathison, Budig, Kaye). But I never was that into him on DAYS, partially because I found his character so loathsome and not in a fun way. Just wasn’t my bag. Beautiful man, though.
  6. Certainly James Scott’s charisma didn’t quite hit as well on AMC. I, for one, got tired of all his blinking as E.J. Like, dude, need some Visine?
  7. Who is the *dishy* henchman who appeared after Nik and Ava got in the elevator?
  8. LOL you hit all the shows where she’s darkened the doorsteps. He hasn’t done Patrick Mulcahey yet, has he? He would be up for it, but AL gets a bit pearl-clutchy when people are a bit too frank for his PR-honed sensibilities.
  9. Her delusions aside (and maybe even because of them), with the right person, she could be a great and revealing interview. Alan Locher is not the right person, though.
  10. I won’t argue that (hated Pratt), but it’s just telling that they have to go back that far for decent clips.
  11. Are they still using Justin Hartley’s Adam getting blown up (w/o JH shown) in 2016 in ads for Y&R in 2021?
  12. So funny that I haven’t even noticed he’s not around. Which is… not good. And I blame Bradley more than anyone.
  13. Lol. That’s a funny take. Although I think it’s believable that Sami would have a deeper connection with the schlubbier yet more grounding Lucas. DF was good in his scenes with Thaao today. But yeah I wish they allowed him to be a slightly rougher version of E.J. instead of shoehorning him into James Scott’s posh, polished version. And it would make story sense given all that E.J. has been through.
  14. That doesn’t look good.
  15. From NYC 🇺🇸
  16. Swickard is doing a great job. He’s selling the hell out of a story that’s actually not good.
  17. Wow, and FV looked a gift horse in the mouth. Damn it. They should have just let him go. (Where are you seeing this btw?)
  18. HBO Max reboot coming, with Robert L. Boyett executive producing:
  19. Week No. 3 for BTS’s “Butter” at No. 1. (Tom Breihan from Stereogum later walked back his BTS comments after fans barraged him with criticism.)
  20. Christiane Amanpour has revealed she’s been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She’s undergone surgery and currently starting months of chemo:
  21. Totally good to see her, but it’s a reminder that the Y&R she’s associated with no longer exists. Katherine and Ryan are dead. Paul, Christine, and Jill are MIA. Her long-lost Ronan’s gone. The writers everyone now and then remember her connection to Victoria, but she and AH don’t have that rich history and chemistry TC had with HT. They didn’t even bother to use TC for the most recent Neil tribute, even though Tricia and KSJ literally grew up together, and Neil and Nina were friends. They used Eileen Davidson, for heaven’s sakes. There are a lot of different ways they could use TC, and they just aren’t doing it. Even though she wasn’t super tight with Victor, Nikki, Lily, et al, she’s a known entity from around Genoa City who could work with more major players. I wonder how long it’ll be before Sally leaves. They are clueless as to what to do with her, and it really shouldn’t be that hard. Why not at least put her in Nick’s orbit? He has nothing to do. This off-screen Chance story… 🙄
  22. Yeah, back to their problem of telling, not showing. Nina is so wasted on Abby btw.
  23. I’m all for something different, but Ashland doesn’t seem like a man Victoria would be into. She’s much more into the wild, brooding, artsy, boyish types. And they aren’t really selling it, even with the art connection. The Lockes are just a miss for me.
