  1. LOL. It’s soooo bad. I just have it on in the background.
  2. What’s happening with Roger right now?
  3. It’s his bangs lol. They tremble a lot (compare to Amy’s hair in her debate performances and Rachel Dratch’s SNL impersonation). He’s actually wearing a lot of product in his hair for his scenes with Ashland and Victor, but it was totally noticeable in those Chelsea scenes. Sorry, this is the stuff I notice when I’m not otherwise engaged lol.
  4. I don’t think Brad has *ever* cared about Carter or Justin as much as Thomas or Flo (whom they’ve had embraced by the Logans), so there’s a lot of reason to be skeptical. Still if B&B proves me wrong, I’ll be the first to cop to it. Justin is actually being given a POV, which is somewhat of the blue, but that’s far more than what Carter’s getting.
  5. No. It’s just interesting to me that the two black sidekicks to the core families have similar stories, even if the magnitude is different. A curious coincidence for two barely-there characters.
  6. Mark Grossman has some very Klobuchar-esque hair shakage happening.
  7. I think B&B finds both of them expendable. Even taking into account the horrid writing for Brad’s pets like Liam and Hope, they’ve barely shown any interest in each character for years. And, barring a late-in-life Quinn pregnancy, it’s unlikely Carter will get much story out of this. Agreed that adultery is the far lesser crime. Soap characters cheat, even the “good” ones.
  8. Lucas’s hair looks slightly less helmet-like today?
  9. Ray MacDonnell just radiated warmth, even when Dr. Joe was sorta being a sanctimonious sh!t. Sad to see so many of these legends go, even if they lived long lives.

  11. Billy Magnussen’s (Casey, ATWT) HBO Max series has been renewed for S2. https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/hbo-max-made-for-love-renewed-season-2-1235006731/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  12. BTS is No. 1 for a fifth week. The top 10 feels pretty static.
  13. And now up a break in the third. (Frances is up the break, I mean.)
  14. Olly Alexander has apparently squashed rumors he’s replacing Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor when she leaves (also yet to be confirmed): https://deadline.com/2021/06/doctor-who-olly-alexander-jodie-whittaker-1234782621/

  16. Just read that Novak had recently sold a condo in Miami that was right next to the building that collapsed.
  17. Looking like a rainy fortnight at Wimbledon…
  18. People have been thirsting over an appearance from Method Man from tonight’s BET Awards. Not bad for 50.

  20. I know people hate Heavenly (for good reasons), but she tickles me. When she told Toya, “Sit up straight, bitch, when you talk to me!” I hollered! 🤣
  21. The blogging culture of the mid-2000s was so incredibly toxic (Perez Hilton, Gawker, etc.), and the soaps had their own low-rent-grifter version of that. Looking back and you’re right: things really went off a cliff in the whole culture around then. It was also a time when a cult of masculinity was driving a lot of “quality” pop culture (with the white male antihero ascending with Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, etc.) And so many in soaps had an inferiority complex about it, and Hogan was overpraised for “giving men their dicks back.” Even if you believed male characters deserved more complexity, that’s such a fücked-up statement. Yet so many journalists were like, “Thank God a visionary like Hogan has come to save us!”
  22. Yikes y’all.
