  1. Thanks. I didn't think those zombie twins were hers. I do remember that Mary was born in 1997 during the whole Sheila/James/Maggie love triangle era.
  2. I can't even remember all the kids she has and who their daddies are. There was Mary with James, who got majorly SORASed to be with Rick in like 2002. Did she have twins on Y&R or was that her sister Sarah Smythe who had plastic surgery to look like Lauren? I suppose that whole double plastic surgery ordeal on Y&R is not canon.
  3. Agreed. I looked at it and I'm like, "Oh. Okay then..." I mean, Sheree gets the first seat? But then you look at the rest (minus Kandi who excels no matter where) and it's like :::shrug::: okay sure.
  4. I haven't watched the finale, but I'd just like to go on record and say I was hoping for Jessica Wild to win
  5. Well look at that… a marriage imploding and a secret lesbian lover will put you in the first seat.
  6. LOL.... wasn't that a Soaps In Depth staple?
  7. "Never Say Never: The Albert Alarr Experience"
  8. I listed to the podcast. I'm glad she's at a place where she can speak frankly on the subject instead of being heated or bitter. I agree with her that the first few seasons were *real*, as in the cameras followed them around in their real life, as opposed to creating storylines for themselves and performing for the cameras. Without specifically naming Kenya, she said things started to change in Season 5 when Kenya and Porsha joined and that's when people started doing things just for the show, like bringing on fake boyfriends. And since then, we've seen castmembers (she pinpoints Atlanta, but we've seen it on all of them) getting random dudes to agree to film a scene of them going out on a date just for the show. Also interesting that Bravo had Porsha on the chopping block after her first year, but Nene and Kandi went to bat for her and convinced Bravo to give her another year. Makes sense for Nene to feel burned when Porsha later turns on her. Also interesting/disappointing to hear Cynthia was pushing for Nene to get axed from the show at one point. Next week, they dive into the Bravo/Andy lawsuit... I'll be listening!
  9. Ah, late '95/early '96. The good ol' DAYS...
  10. He didn't. Last I heard/saw, he shared with Christian LeBlanc. Most of the cast were doubled up in dressing rooms, save for a few (Braeden, Melody)
  11. It says hair trim, not buzz cut, so it could be anyone. Could be Cameron Johnson (Theo) for instance.
  12. With DAYS' taping schedule, I can never keep up with the revolving door. I assume Linsey Godfrey is one of them. The one actress being told to perform a love scene by remembering how it used to be when she was young and vibrant... I want to say Arianne Zuker, but really, who knows? It could be so many getting picked on.
  13. I hope so too. If they can flash back to Jensen Ackles as Eric, anything's possible now.
  14. I've met all the daytime divas that I'd like to meet (Deidre, Zimmer, Flannery, KKL, Jeanne Cooper, etc.) except for one.... La Lucci. Wouldn't faint, but I'd gush.
  15. I'm a few days late to the discussion, but I was always under the assumption that the Brady Pub was very close to the pier. So close that sometimes you would even hear that random bell chime outside the pub that you would also hear as background noise on the pier. Is the Brady Pub supposed to be on the same lot where the Fish Market was? Meanwhile, the Cheatin' Heart used to be in the sleazy part of town, but in the last 15 years of its constant turnover in restaurants (A coffee shop, Club TBD, Julie's newest restaurant that looks like a breakfast joint for seniors), the area seems to have been gentrified.
  16. I listened to the whole thing, and boy does it give my OG RHONY nostalgia of the first 4 years. One major takeaway which I'm inclined to believe is true due to both their reactions: Bravo did both of them dirty when it comes to filming outside of Bobby's funeral. Jill didn't know Bethenny was mic'ed, nor that the people filming outside were from Bravo (she thought it was TMZ, press etc. as TMZ was in fact there). Bethenny thought Jill knew beforehand. Jill didn't know about anything until she saw the commercial for that season of RHONY and saw a clip of her. She never signed a release form from Bravo and Bravo took their chances that she wouldn't sue. When they discussed this, you could tell Bethenny was taken aback when it clicked that Bravo set her up and felt it was disgusting to know she had "ambushed" (her word, fittingly) a funeral. I forgot all about that; who she was and what she did/said to get herself kicked off.
  17. It could be worse. Wasn't Dallas' premiere episode about plastic poop? Re: @DaytimeFan ATL... I agree the cast doesn't gel as they used to and the newbies aren't enough to usher in the next successful era. I could see Bravo seriously considering doing a total reboot of Atlanta, but at the same time I think they would hate to cut ties with Kandi and possibly Kenya.
  18. I always remember the pretty ones
  19. Catching up, just started July… I’m pretty darn sure the good looking gentleman on the left was partying it up with Paul and papa John at last year’s San Francisco pride party on Beyond Salem 2. The extras in theses scene were cracking me up. I now understand why Steve Burton always wore black T-shirts on GH — to conceal his pit sweat. A lil Botox will help with that; you can siphon some out from Galen Gering’s forehead.
  20. They're all beautiful but gotta give a lusty shoutout to Dyllon Burnside from Pose....
  21. Sometimes I wonder if Bethenny is ill. She can't pull off the super skinny older woman with dark brown long hair look that someone like La Lucci was able to do for decades (and even La Lucci cut it shorter as she got older). I dunno. She just looks off these days. Nu NYC: I watched. I liked it more than I thought I would. I'm willing to give it a try and continue watching. There are some standouts (Erin, Ubah, Jenna's home) while others are doing too much (Brynn... especially if you watched them on WWHL). I agree about the idea of Jenna being brought on with the previous cast. Her take on things reminds me of Carole... Erin is kind of a mix of Bethenny with the look of a prettier Leah without the nagging voice... The nagging voice belongs to Sai (especially grating during the WWHL show)... My hubby has already clocked Jessel as being unlikeable, lol... I like Ubah's personality. I liked the various landmarks shown of NYC and the various neighborhoods where everyone lives. I got the vibe Bravo is trying to make this like a reality TV version of a Sex and the City, where the city is like a member of the cast. They kind of lost their way with that aspect on the OG RHONY, especially as it followed the now-tired tropes of 5 different cast trips to other parts of the country/world throughout a season. I could see Eboni fitting in with this new cast. But perhaps it was best to make a clean break from anyone previously. Even though the title is the same, I consider this to be a different show than the RHONY we once knew. I'll continue watching, but as Nene Leakes recently pointed out, the Housewives shows don't produce stars anymore. I don't think we'll ever get a Bethenny 2.0, Nene 2.0, Vanderpump 2.0, Teresa 2.0, etc. of that type of magnitude. Casts of New Jersey and Atlanta better beware: you could get the reboot too.... Side note: I love that Jenna is gay and it's literally no big deal. It's not a story; it's not "a thing." That's how it should be.
  22. Just gonna throw this out there (but it's actually for the 1990's)... would you happen to have available the Saturday morning pre-teen/teen shows of Saved By the Bell, California Dreams etc. in the 90's? I'd be interested in seeing what kind of numbers those shows actually pulled in, especially considering they tried a short-lived primetime spinoff of SBTB ("The College Years") in 1993.
  23. ... and Bravo cameras were NOT rolling. Tsk, tsk, all this mess for nada, newbies.... Sigh, not a good look for this franchise...
  24. Ya know, most trees would grow bigger in 12 years. But the magical tree of Horton Town Square literally picked up its roots and found a cozy new spot and stays the same size. Only in Salem
  25. ... and look at those beautifully consistent bricks in the background! 😂😂😂 Nowadays, their cramped little park set has a hodge podge of mismatched brick walls slapped together. "Peacock Money..." At this point, I expect Trump's wall to be erected with Mexico footing the bill before we see Salem return to something that wasn't constructed from sticky clearance bin items at the Dollar Tree.
