Traci serves as Y&R's moral compass. BM still embodies classic Y&R vibes. I'm glad she's back for visits. Speaking of Colleen, I wish Traci would read Victor about his Abbott vendetta - after all, he's alive because has the heart of an Abbott. This is where ED not being around enough hurts - certainly Ashley would have a few words to say to Victor.

Ugh, Deke and Hope wringing their hands in Bel Air - again. It's weird and a waste. I hope we get Sheila/Li scenes and Li vouching for Sheila to Finn. I do enjoy the Forrester hypocrisy. Steffy. I think Liam and Hope remember you. Ridge and Taylor, please. I'm curious how Brooke will react. I wish they hadn't ruined the Brooke/Sheila friendship because that could've been an interesting twist to this story.

Stephanie telling Malcolm, 'I heard you were dead, I grieved you and moved on, etc.' was kinda funny. VF deadpan delivery of such a soapy thing was spot-on. I bet the lack of extras in CL had to do with SM/VF filming schedule because the GC Club scenes during the same days had plenty of extras. SM/VF have such presence that extras aren't worthy or necessary. Even if the history was bent, both the Damian and Holden paternity stories are anchored by legacy Y&R characters. It's too bad SEM retired from acting, but VP has done a great job as Amy. I hope we see her soon. Since Tonya isn't coming back, Amy can serve as the de facto maternal figure the Winters clan. I'm looking forward to the Winters clan finding out about Holden. BF has made Cane a lot more interesting than I imagined. I do enjoy MS/BF bantering.

NO has always played Holden with that Malcolm swagger - this twist is hardly a stretch. Malcolm has always been a beloved character because of Shemar - I'm all for reasons to have him back as well as expanding the Winters family.

KB two Supporting Actress nominations 1993 and 2022. After watching the past few episodes I thought this material has been designed to get her another nomination. I'm glad Brad refrained from making Sheila violent. This drama is a lot more interesting.

KB can still deliver. BTW - Did Taylor ever call out Hope on the Finn thing? You know don't go after a married man. It seems like something Taylor would do.

Sheila's one sin in her marriage was protecting her granddaughter. It's interesting how the writing is so skewed as anti-Sheila. The facts are since Sheila married Deacon, she's been faithful, helped him build his business, saved two lives, etc. but she deserves to be cheated on/lose her husband. OK. And, yet, Taylor who was hired to help Deacon rebuild his marriage, not only committed malpractice, but also has zero self-awareness that she's doing what Brooke did to her multiple times. Steffy/Ridge are really only calling her out because of the threat of Sheila, with an off-handed mention of her unethical behavior. The latter is actually the better story - Taylor's lust for Deacon caused her to compromise her ethics, values and turn into Brooke. Don't get me wrong - I like SK/RB in this pairing. Perhaps it time to call Dr. James Warwick! BTW - Did Taylor ever lash out / getting physical with Brooke over Ridge? If so, she better take Nurse Carter's medicine with grace.

That's been my vibe for several months. Even though AB is far too young. It doesn't matter on B&B - Leslie-Anne Down was only six years older than her 'son' Jack Wagner. B&B could use a good scandal and this would be it. It's too bad Electra connected with Will because Liam would've been the perfect father, but even B&B wouldn't do that.

Finally - the OG Sheila is back - the one who is observant, clever, stealth and can outwit them all. That's what the audience has been wanting from Sheila for the past 30 years, not the homicidal psycho. I'll try not to get my hopes up. but this is a promising turn.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Mumbles still live/work at Pizza Shack? If so, why were he and Hope fretting about Deacon? Couldn't Deke have just gone home/work and said 'hi' to dad without Hope? Or did Hope have to escort him because that 80s Izod Preppy look would've gotten him arrested by the LA Fashion police? BTW - RB has been doing great work despite the illogical scenes with Steffy. It's also funny how Taylor, who shot $B in the back, and Steffy, who shot a defenseless Sheila, mur-duh'd Ally, killed Sugar, etc. sit in judgment and fear of Sheila, who saved Kelly and Liam. It's just tired. Even Quinn was forgiven at some point and she was literally Sheila clone for 9 years.

The family meeting / Olivia's continual shaming of Jacinda, leading to Wiley, was done with one clear goal: Find a logical way to get Chase back into Willow's orbit with BLQ's sorta-blessing. I like how we thought it was about one thing - pearl-clutching over Jacinda, but it was really about something else. Clever. I like it.

ITA - the irony is that those were suppose to air Th, Fr and Mon because of a pre-emption and the AG tribute insert episode. Joss told Cullum it was Friday on the Tuesday episode two weeks ago. Honestly, I think it worked out better this way. I returned to GH after a decade last April after reading about the Gio story. It peaked my interest because it seemed like classic soap drama. I soon got hooked on Drewcifer. Haven't skipped an episode since.

I've always been pretty lukewarm on teen/young soap characters, but GH's casting is excellent - Gio, Emma, Danny, Charlotte and Rocco all make the show better. The brilliance in the casting is that they are close to their characters' ages - it's not like the old days when they were casting last 20s as 17 -20 year old. Rocco's scenes with Lulu could've been a messy trainwreck. It was interesting to watch AH guiding FC so it didn't go off the rails. Definitely the highlight of this story.

Nikki as a loose canon is great. MTS' delivery of the 'you might as well know...' to Cane about Lily was awesome! Diane + Patty - was so good. Patty getting in just the right digs. I'm glad there's a big bump for Jack/Diane because Diane was becoming way too domesticated. It also crazy how Diane's return helped center the Abbott family after so many years of flailing around. The chemistry between ZS + LA is off the charts. I'm all in on Noah/Audra Part 2. Please don't let Teriah reunion be a done deal because it's off to purgatory for those two. Perhaps Daniel gave Tessa a gift on New Year's Eve to give us some good drama. Working with Graz has been great for Cait because I actually care about Tessa for the first time - ever.

That's what I've been saying for a few weeks now. It's completely illogical. If Sheila knew and was playing them, I'd buy that. Maybe we got a clue where this is going from the Sheila/Li convo about Finn .. Sheila agrees not to go psycho, if Taylor convinces Finn to spend time with Sheila. The whole Finn can't have contact with Sheila is ridiculous. Seriously, like Finn going over to Pizza Hut for a weekly drink would be such a burden. I'm surprised Li hasn't suggested that since she's seems to be perfectly comfortable. Brad is missing the point of character redemption - it doesn't keep them in purgatory permanently, it's suppose to get them acceptance/forgiveness - see Quinn/Deacon as most recent examples.

Chelsea eviscerating Billy was not where I expected that convo to go. Thank goodness the real Chelsea is back. They better not be ending Dessa - mostly because I don't MG/CF to completely fade off canvas. Seeing today's rare MG/CG scenes reminded me it was 21(!) years ago when Cassie was crushing on Daniel. Yeah, that's insane.

4000 episodes with extended scenes. That's remarkable. Were those shown internationally? Unlike Y&R, DAYS and GH, B&B definitely benefits from having its entire library available. OC, the latter 3 soaps stopped wiping about 10 years earlier, so they'll have around 11000+ episodes if they ever decide to do this. Let's hope B&B prompts the others to do this. And still waiting for the day P&G decides to monetize their cultural significant archives.

Loved The Vine owning her actions. I'm glad she finally reference 'Liam' as a reason why she's trying to protect Electra from a man who isn't fully committed to her. She's also right to tell Miss Dylan that she has more to lose than gain by squealing. I do hope they keep AB around so that Liam will have someone to turn to when Hope gets all judgy on the Spencers. Carter schooling Daphne on not talking about office romances was rich. Myron, Quinn, Katie and Hope say 'hi

Since we know B&B doesn't drop comments like that randomly. It was weird and not proper for Ivy to talk about RJ's muscle(s) in the office. That oddly crude for Ivy. Regardless, AB is only 35 - it's definitely proper for her to go for RJ. Honestly, the past few weeks have shown why it's been a crime to waste AB. I still don't get why they dropped Ivy/Liam after that one kiss like 2 years ago. SB been an unexpected find for B&B. She absolutely nailed it when Miss Dylan ripped into Electra about not understanding her circumstances.

The cousin scenes were strange and forced. All Will had to say was he offered his resignation and co-CEO Steffy refused. Katie/Brooke scenes are getting nasty and real. KKL/HT are great scene partners that know how to play off of history. HT doesn't need poor, sickly Katie to deliver. Historically, B&B reverts characters to their status quo - it would be great if this evolution of Katie actually stuck.

I was right - GH is behind two days - so OG Friday episodes have been airing on Tuesdays the past couple of week. Agent Jacks confirmed it when she told Cullom it was 'Friday' on this Tuesday's episode.

The chemistry is definitely there so I can forgive whatever plot device. It's simply crazy that Jack married Patty 44 years ago! And that Patty miscarried after catching Jack with Diane in Jack's office at Jabot. I only hope that Diane is gifted with similar karma on the boat. While all three actors have changed, it still works because of PB, SH and SW. And, I loved PB's eye-opening glance/thirst when Patty removed her top! It was such a 'Smiling Jack' moment because sanitized Jack is a bore.

Worse was Hope's indignation about Eric. Are you kidding me? I've always disliked the Forresters being portrayed as being right, no matter how despicable their actions are - kicking Eric to the curb - while everyone else is somehow morally bankrupt. $B hanging up on Bridge, Eric was fabulous! I know it's unlikely, but I hope Brad has a change of heart regarding LOGAN and keeps it as FC's rival. It'd be great if Eric is forced to continue working for LOGAN based on the contract. At first, he'd be p.o.'d, but if they brought Deke as LOGAN's future designer, Eric might discover he has an opportunity to reinvent himself, etc. There's no need to burn through this story just to revert to status quo.

ITA - The Eric/Katie angle is a complete missed opportunity. Eric volunteered to help Katie launch LOGAN and then he wanted to be her designer after Ridge tossed him out like a broken stapler. I've always despised Eric because he's a smarmy narcissist - very childlike - pivoting to whatever he wants like a baby. FC only survived his flightiness because of Stephanie's money, business acumen and, frankly, stability. And Bill/Katie are on the right side of this fight both legally and morally. I'm sad LOGAN will be gone and forgotten by May sweeps.

Yeah, totally forgot Deke - like Brad intended. What was the point of Steffy firing Deke followed by Katie interviewing Deke at the Pizza Shack?
