  1. Yeah, totally forgot Deke - like Brad intended. What was the point of Steffy firing Deke followed by Katie interviewing Deke at the Pizza Shack?
  2. Yeah, just like Brad didn't mess up the slam dunk that we called in January - revealing Eric as LOGAN's designer at the end of the fashion show. For weeks we heard Eric's involvement had to be kept secret only for the story to completely unwind in two episodes. And, now, LOGAN, like the Forrester Fashion House takeover, will be a distant by May.
  3. Ivy was right about Miss Dylan all along, so why is The Nose sticking it where it doesn't belong? With the two accent girls appearing quite regularly, it's clear Brad is making an(other) attempt to kick-off a youth movement. All the major characters are extremely played out and life-paired. It took many attempts over years before lightning struck with Steffy/Liam/Hope. The Zende/Lunacy/RJ was a massive fail, but I do see potential here with Miss Dylan, nuRJ, Will, Electra and Deke.
  4. I know GH has it's own unique way of filming episodes out of sequences for casting/set reasons. With the pre-emption a few weeks ago and the insert AG episode, are the intended Friday episodes now airing on Tuesdays? It's not a big deal because I usually binge two or three at a time. More curious if anyone knows.
  5. The Vine sprouting about 'It's Naught Prawper' turned out to be 100% right about Miss Dylan. The dessert gag is gag-inducing. Does Brad believe the audience finds this amusing? After today's scenes with Taylor, zero chance Sheila doesn't know. 'The three of us are in this marriage together' hug. Please. Praise breaking news on DVR because I was about to FF through the rest.
  6. The most interesting scenes were Daniel/Sharon, not because of the content - it was the way MG/SC played them - the underlying comfortableness of 20+ years of history/tragedy. While the characters may have forgiven each other about Cassie/Heather, it's definitely not forgotten and there will never be any sort of kumbaya.
  7. If B&B wants to do a twist that is faithful to OG Sheila - it's that she's known this whole time about Taycon and she's been playing them as well as Hope/Deke. Honestly, it'd line up: Sheila confiding in Taylor about no lovin', getting Taylor to encourage Deacon to give it to her, Sheila's barging in today and scaring Taylor only to give her a big hug/thank you and then sharing the of tawdry details. It'd be a classic Sheila manipulation and it'd be the only viable route for the character at this point. Sheila being this clueless about something this big and close isn't believable.
  8. Interesting, she uses past tense in the key paragraph: 'I played... honored ... grounded' Not sure the point of resurrecting Lexie if she's not long-term. Oh, well.
  9. What's up with Will being the victim of a predator for the second time in a year? Will didn't consent, but Miss Dylan still kissed him. It was creepy and forced. What's with Hope 'Taylor is the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with...' nonsense. They haven't even gone out on a date, much less hooked up and Hope is already picking side-by-side burial plots.
  10. OMG - The Willow photoshoot was so positively perfect! Birth Mom's tattoo means the daddy is connected to someone on canvas. Since Curtis appears to be the most potent man in PC ... why not make it 3 sibling for whiny Trina? But we know it's going to be J. I thought Kristina and Jacinda were going to makeout in Charlie's instead we got.... blech
  11. I'd love to have seen KB + RB rehearsing their scenes - I'm sure they were shading the grossness of their convo. I enjoy both, but had to FF. I like SK and RB, but Taylor getting involved with a patient who's a married man is almost as unbelievable as Taylor stalking Deacon under the guise of a takeout pizza. C'mon. At least Hope calling out Stephanie, but those scenes were marred by Cosmo Kramer Mumbles, who was not needed. And why did he greet Deacon with a hug when they live/work together? That was weird. I'm convinced they are making Deke bland and infantile so that nobody cares when he suddenly disappears from the canvas. I feel badly for the actor -they likely promised him a hot groundbreaking storyline, blah, blah, blah and instead gets bad hair cuts, terrible clothes and relegated to taking at the trash. Why am I surprised?
  12. Both unexpectedly great scenes. CR ability to switch from charming to lethal to funny has won me over. I hope they keep extending his run. The show always has a 'Big Bad' and most are pretty one-note.
  13. They're not! And that's OK because she looks great. I"m still hoping that Ivy and Liam fling. Honestly, I thought the ultimate twist in the story would be that Ivy was Electra's mum. Even thought AB is only 33, it's not like real age difference matters on soaps.
  14. The sudden shift to Poison Ivy now makes sense after AB’s recent announcement. If you don’t know, just take a close look at her wardrobe.
  15. @ranger1rg Exactly. If Will asked his parents to put Miss Dylan in a corporate apt for a few weeks, they'd say 'yes.' Wouldn't SINN + Forresters help out? And you just knew Brad was going to destroy Ivy for no reason. Ivy supported Will/Electra, but now she's going to intentionally sabotage by hiding the letter. What is the 1990s? Brooke was way out of line with her Katie bashing. It was downright cruel. And, of course, since B&B props Brooke, Katie kisses the ring and begs for forgiveness. Guess that's the end of LOGAN.
  16. I assuming Patty/Ian are a package since the audience knows Ian didn't die.
  17. Thanks for the info! I didn't know Stacy was off-contract. I only read DAYS synopses since I don't have Peacock anymore. I'm glad she's getting the extra work.
  18. I'm betting it's a short arc on Y&R. Since Sony owns Y&R and is part-owner of DAYS, this is a simple lending of talent. It's likely what made the BF/CF moves so easy.
  19. Sorry, I meant this week after Eric threw his silk tantrum. I was certain Deke would be mentioned even briefly by Katie or $B. After all, Katie did interview Deke at the Pizza Hut. And, yes, I was certain Eric would mentor Deke paving the way for Deke to break through as LA hottest new designer, etc. Also, LOGAN was supposed to be opportunity for Katie to put her spin on fashion, not FC 2.0. Instead, we get Deke taking out the trash. It's like the takeover - start off hot with many possibility to send the show in a new direction - only to abruptly end the story and revert to the status quo.
  20. Is Dylan still working at the Pizza Palace? Or did Will finding her 10 minutes into her first shift end all that 'I'll take any job' nonsense? So what happened when Donna led $B into the backroom when they were dismissed by Katie/Brooke? lol @Soapsuds Unless I missed it, I don't think Katie even mentioned Deke as a possibility when she and $B were lamenting Eric's situation. Yet another clue that LOGAN is being shuttered + Deke will probably go the way of Remy.
  21. The post-Dom kidnapping has been far more intriguing than the prelude/when it was happening. I kinda thought they'd have Dabby kinda get over it - off-screen, send Mariah away to get well, etc. Yawn. This is turning out better. Some knockout performances by CG, SC and MO. CG makes Mariah such an enigma. It's her best work in years - it's a crime she's been so underutilized. Yeah to Claire calling out Holden by referencing her past as to why she knows he hiding something. This has been a far better relationship for Claire than the Mary Poppins Abbott road.
  22. After streaming today's episode since it was preempted, I get why they burned it off rather than fully preempting it. This week's episodes had the feel of a B&B quick storyline wrap/whiplash - meaning Eric returns to FC because Ridge 'loves him' or whatever nonsense. If they'd intended on keeping Eric at LOGAN, the secret would've held until Eric's designs debuted at the LOGAN for maximum effect. Instead, Hope, Ridge and Brooke all found out concurrently in a conveniently lazy way: Hope sees the designs on Bill's desk, Bridge see Eric's designs scattered in the living room. Followed by Katie + Liam blurting it out. It's done and it's a shame. I enjoyed all the potential drama of Eric secretly helping Katie. Thank goodness for Ivy. Electra calling out Will was surprising. Like Will wouldn't be losing his mind if a homeless dude was dancing and showering at Electra's house.
  23. Absolutely correct. I loved SW, but she's focused her efforts on nonprofit work back home (St Louis area) for a long time. I thought the casting of VP was brilliant when I read VP bio. SW and VP shared so many career similarities, like they were both dancers on Broadway, which was important for Amy + SW took over VP's role when she left OLTL! Instead of some random character, Amy had real GC roots and connections with current characters like Lauren + Tracy. Plus, VP turned in what was certain to be a short-term stint into so much more. With this return, it's not a leap to think Malcolm + Stephanie are connected to a certain Vesper-drinker
  24. I'm convinced RIdge possessed by Stephanie the way he patronizes and talks down to Eric. The last 3 episodes have been the worst ones during the past 2 months because we're back to one storyline focus including other characters (Lope) talking about the same thing. The post-Lunacy shows were enjoyable because you had multiple stories on the same episode and different characters mixing it up - like Sheila's individual scenes with Li, Hope and Deke; Miss Dylan with Deke, Steffy and Ivy. All those fresh connections added depth to B&B's normal basic storylines.
  25. I know he's always been lead and close - I watched the first episode with my mom ... but he certainly doesn't deserve both. Who's been more responsible for B&B's continuous success: KKL or JMcC? Seriously, Eric's stories are mostly as a supporting player, except the stapler. Even his most impactful one: Bric was never about Eric - it was about Brooke/Ridge/Stephanie/BeLief. Even the retirement/LOGAN story is more about Katie/Brooke/Ridge, than Eric. It was tradition when the core 4 were there because the openings followed the OG order. After SF + RM left, it's seemed like it would be fair to share. They could even rotate who get first/last shot. Maybe they'll mix it up in Sept since that officially starts Season 40 - never thought I'd write those words!
