@ranger1rg @Maxim I thought Dr. B was a cardiologist. Why is she so invested in Liam's case? Reading the recaps, the fact that Dr. B was randomly talking about harassing calls/texts, means we're getting a typical B&B reset of Liam's condition.

ELR has always been a class act. Plus, she knows GH could cast her as a different (new or recast) character down the line.

Um, was Jenz supposed to be that OTT with Alexis? The histrionics made it seems like a parody. This brings me to the real question: Why didn't they have Natalia knock off Sidwell and take over his *empire*? ELR as a QueenPin against Sonny would've been better than this. ELR says Natalia was irredeemable to the audience. At the same time, Kristina's crimes, eh! If not for KM, I wouldn't have so much as blinked if Kristina went up in flames. Kristina is unlikable.

It's so great to see the Sally calling out Billy. This is something CH excels at - being assertive, but not coming across like a B. Not a fan of this pairing, but CH/JT do have a good rapport. MM's styling has been impeccable. It's interesting seeing Amanda, who's known for being direct and ethical, being a little tripped up. MM has been sorely missed. Audra/Damian - now that was an interesting conversation. Audra thinking she's in total control until Damian turned the tables on her. I kinda wish Diane would flat out say: 'You've got Jack's and my DNA, you really shouldn't be this dense.'

The only way *destiny* works is if RM is in the role. After 13 years of TK, both Ridge and Brooke should have moved on. TK and RB certainly do have a good vibe, so why not go for it. $B should be Brooke's main man. Now that doesn't mean, either Brooke/$B can stray. The chemistry and history is there. And, frankly, the way DD has been wasted during the past 5 years is appalling. I'm at the point where I stopped reading full daily recaps. The headline is enough to know I don't care. That bums me out. There is absolutely no reason B&B should be this unwatchable.

Of course, next week CBS Newsbreak will also take the week off!

Still a headscratcher why they'd hire ELR and then not only waste her, but also make her loathsome. Nathlia could easily have repented for her homophobia through Marco. We all agree the 2nd DWI is the lamest - 'you're going to prison unless you rat Sonny out.' Meanwhile, Alexis and Liz freely talk about Kristina's attempted murder. I suppose Kristina being sober when she cut the breaklines is the *moral* lesson here. lol Yes, Drewcifer is a bad dude. As long as Sonny and Jason have access to W+A, Michael's logic is severely off. And why hasn't Willow pointed that out? Oh, that's because the writers don't want us to take her side.

From the MIMS files: Jill sells CI to Victor/Nikki, but *faux* Cane alludes to talking to Jill about trading all his more valuable assets to buy CI, including somehow getting Billy back involved (the call in Paris). So why didn't Jill just sell it to Cane in the first place + keep Billy in charge. Now if Cane's motivation to trade all his assets to win back the love of his life, maybe it would be mildly interesting.

B&B now will air *Friday* cliffhangers on Tuesday, which means the week will end with Wednesday episodes. Based on what we know from the studio move, this will continue through mid-September. Per Deadline, B&B starts filming again August 19. Honestly, Brad & Casey probably aren't too sad with the pre-emptions because JMW's absence will be even shorter or barely noticeable.

Replace BunHead with SINN, $B with Will and Sheila for Lunacy. Even Brad doesn't know what he wants to do with Luna. - 6 months as sweet/victim; - 6 months as murderer/jail; - 3 months as *misunderstood* and worthy of freedom; - 3 months of becoming unhinged. Make it make sense. LY is by far the best younger actor the show has had in years. I simply don't understand the extremes. After the pardon, it would've been easy to craft her as a young Sheila - smart, manipulative, but not criminal. Seduce Will, keep Remy as her *Mike* etc. If you're going to retread stuff, at least mine stories that were good.

In the article posted June 6 about B&B's move to the new studio: 'Production on the half-hour series will resume on Tuesday, August 19, after its summer hiatus.' Since the announced the move that day, Brad made it sound like production just wrapped and that they are moving during the hiatus. One can assume they have banked enough episodes to air at least until Friday, Sept 19, which is 4 weeks after the restart date. I'm assuming B&B tapes at least 4 weeks in advance, which increases since they tape more than 5 a week.

Y&R is *not* on location. Those scenes are filmed at the studio. I think it has more to do with Adam/Chelsea being siloed probably due to contract guarantees. This may explain why Victoria also isn't part of the Dumas reveal.

I'll pass. If they'd kept Cane as Jill's son, I'd be invested. Re-doing that is a textbook example of how to muck things up. P3 shouldn't never been revived.

Is it possible with B&B's spring filming schedule and the summer off (moving to new studio), that JMW may only be off-screen for a very brief period? B&B just wrapped at the old studio, which means they have enough in the can through early/mid-September. JMW must be due soon. Since filming doesn't restart for a couple of months and JMW takes incredibly short leaves, is it possible she'll only be off-screen for a couple of weeks?

Agreed on Cane. Last week, I said the best way AD could make a serious impact would be if he's Jack/Nikki's *miscarried* son. It would certainly shake up GC and add another layer to Abbott/Newman drama. The kicker - Victor has known the entire time. Nikki has been far too accepting of Victor's machinations during the past few months. Perhaps, she needs an awaking. Was it really a toss-off that Jack recognized Nikki's perfume when he entered the train? Or was it a clue that Jack/Nikki will somehow reunite. Diane has been declawed and achieved her 40+ year goal - acceptance into the Abbott family. SW is far too talented to be a stepford wife. There is a ton of material to be mined - Nick/Victoria/Kyle, etc. Cane is an outlier. If you're gonna hire Billy Flynn, he has to be directly connected to one of the main families.

Jack Wagner easily the best male actor on B&B. I was indifferent on Nick/Brooke *but* Nick is a far better alternative than Brooke pining away for Ridge. TK and RB definitely work as a couple. RB can make Taylee work if she's given decent material - like today as opposed to the Lunacy preaching. Please let Haynes reign of terror end quickly. He is the perfect casting for Finn's son lol

Sony must've really *loved* JG's pitch for this story because they hired BF, brought MM back (for a bit), invested in new sets, promos, etc. It's a pretty significant investment. Hopefully, this story delivers after the build up.

I bet the Nurses Ball scenes (the red carpet/musical performances) were longer than initially planned, which meant they could back some of the drama scenes + a couple of flashbacks thrown-in to create an extra episode. That would explain why the trial started a day later than announced. Boy they're getting rid of ELR - fast. Disappear to Belize is the answer? Please. Rick, Martin or Diane could easily challenge that DWI charge on any number of procedural issues.

I was cheering! The last thing we need is a Lulu/BLQ peace treaty. AS/AH have become good sparring partners. Contrast that with the Chase/Dante spat, which was completely forced. Drew - did not expect that. CM plays smarmy Drew so well, it's impossible to tell if it was sincere or another manipulation. Side note: Tracy mentioned it was 'Thursday' on today's show. Was there a national pre-emption in the last few weeks - (not Memorial Day)? Or did they insert a new episode somewhere? I know the latter has happened before.

It seems like Damian's arc is complete- reconciles with Amy, good with Nate and Winters, etc. When Amy *misspoke* and said 'whodunit' on Friday's show, that clinched it for me. Holden is actually the better choice for a long-term play in GC: no blood ties, a mysterious background, younger and can be paired with a lot of the canvas: Lily, Audra, Claire, Abby, Phyllis(!), Sally, Chelsea, Chloe, re-cast Summer, etc.

I'm cool with loathsome characters (CamDrew) because they can move stories forward, but what did ABC Daytime Icon ELR do to deserve this? Granted I've seen very little of Nathalia, but the Marco/PCPD scenes make her awful - not in any kind of fun, mischievous or, even compelling way that can pave the way for more (e.g. Ava, CW's Nina). She's been written with no humanity. Why would ELR sign on for this? I suppose it's inevitable that CAva are gonna do it in the Q barn stables - complete with hay, wool blankets, sweat and being found by Tracy.

The only way I'll be interested in the A.D. character is if he is Jack/Nicki's allegedly miscarried son. Honestly, if Clare, Mariah, Amanda, Dylan, Philip IV, and Diane can exist, why not? It'd definitely shake things up because he'd immediately be connected to half the canvas. And, oh so many upheavals - Victor + Diane would be on the same side of that mess. If it's the suspected recast, it'll have same fate as MW's Diane, but worse because that character literally has only one meaningful connection in GC. I hope it's been an intentional misdirect.

Lunacy has enough money to buy stylish clothes, hair/make-up, an apartment, a weapon and get custom, glossy posters targets. OK.
