  1. Do I suspect a time jump to a nine-month pregnant Cristal to show Daniella Alonso's real-life pregnant belly for at least once..? By episode eight, nine and/or ten, Alonso won't be pregnant (shooting-wise).
  2. For a Tyler Perry series it is definitely worth the watch in my opinion. Sure there are things that irk me, but it is a solid drama.
  3. I usually re-watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer twice per-year; during quarantine last year I must've watched it six or seven times in a four-month period. Never gets old. Oh! Why do you feel that way? I think it was due to the series' move to UPN. I got the loss of Giles and understood it, and I think that's what made his "special guest" appearances even more special. I hate the fourth season with a burning passion; I can understand why people like it, but I absolute hate it to this day. The fact Charisma Carpenter was told Cordelia wouldn't be killed off, only to get to the set, see the script and see that Cordelia does, in fact, die is an insult to her.
  4. TV Line: Degrassi: TNG Cast Talks Reboot, Craig's Toxic Relationships at 20th Anniversary Reunion Panel
  5. Meh. I was never a Claire fan until Durant took claim of the role.
  6. It really was. And I think Sibbett was trying to not bad-mouth her former co-stars, which she admitted she didn't want to do later on in the interview. To me, they both play different Gina DeMotts. Santa Barbara was always competed against other networks; had NBC maybe aired it during a time when soaps were not airing it could have faired better. Plus, I'm not sold that NBC was the right network, either.
  7. Michael becoming a Quartermaine (by name) and taking Avery from Sonny was a complete mood.
  8. Last week's episode and tonight's episode are fantastic.
  9. Considering they've waiting this long to cast the next season I have a feeling major shakeup is happening.
  10. I completely agree; replacing Linda Gibboney with Robin Mattson was a mistake. Gibboney embraced the vulnerabilities of Gina.. which became lost in the deceit of Mattson's portrayal. Plus, Gibboney's work opposite Ava Lazar's Santana was incredible. Jane Sibbett said she did not like rehearsing love scenes without a director, and that Richard Eden did, and that's all she would say. In an interview, she stated: "Richard Eden ... no comment. We didn't get along. I didn't like rehearsing love scenes without a director and he did. Enough said?"
  11. I need Michael to become Michael Quartermaine again... he was twice the character Michael Corinthos is.
  12. See, I'm on the opposite side of that argument. To me, Olivia Rose Keegan over-[re]acted in the role of Claire; Durant has leveled the character, which was needed.
  13. I completely agree and have always stated: the Dobsons, while they may have had a vision for their soap, made a lot of mistakes... especially within their first year or two.
  14. Based on the scenes I've seen (as my first-watch of Santa Barbara is still on-going with Davies in the role), Lester was much more Mason than Thomson was. Again, this would be an alternate universe.. and in my universe, Arvesen would return to The Young and the Restless, hah. Lynn Clark was perfect as Lily Light... and knowing they recast was heartbreaking. That being said, Paula Irvine, to me, would've worked better with Linda Gibboney's Gina, who I ADORED! Knowing what we know now about Richard Eden, the role would have to be recast, in my opinion.
  15. Good to see GH improve, as it should.
  16. Is Sofia Mattsson pregnant in real-life, or are pregnancies on General Hospital just erratic as all-get-out!
  17. I need NBCU to stop stalling their horses and release the rest of the publicity portraits from last year and this year.
  18. I'm really going to need Disney-ABC to either release new publicity portraits, or conduct a whole brand-new shoot and release those. It's about time.
  19. x So, Days of Our Lives is likely three-to-four months tape-to-air, per the latest Soap Opera Digest report.
  20. Not surprised. The character has run passed its expiration date.
  21. A young woman, destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, deals with her life fighting evil, with the help of her friends.
  22. Thank f**k that divorce is finalized; she was trapped for so friggin' long. I keep trying to go into town to see if I can catch Bethenny (I live outside of Boston), but, never have been able to! As for the house in Bridgehampton, I doubt she would get rid of it. True. This could be. Also, just a correction: The Big Shot was on HBO Max and not Netflix. Either way, I'm fairly certain The Big Shot was a success, and I know she did say she's focused on her podcast right now, through iHeartRadio Media. She also remarked she misses the funny parts of RHONY, but does not miss the drama, so that alone makes me feel like a return won't be happening, even though she said she loves where she came from. Eboni is definitely getting the flow of how things are working, but, her looks and words re-Luann on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen spoke volumes to me. I do think Luann is playing face for the camera right now, especially with her confessionals. The reunion will be interesting to watch. I think Leah just can't handle being around the women, having the discussions they're having right now, because it is genuinely not where her mindset is. When she was off, alone, with Luann, she seemed genuinely fine with her hoola-hooping. I do believe there is more going on that we're not being told, re-Leah's grandmother's death, and it's translating poorly each episode. The Ebonja pairing is what I am LOVING! Eboni was giving her compliments and praise, and took it upon herself to try and find Sonja some true happiness in the love department. She's done in such a short-span of time, and all Luann could do was bring a guitar player that even I could tell was NOT Sonja's type.. and that Ramona was ready to go psycho over. I don't think Eboni did it with malice. But, like Eboni even stated after-the-fact, she should've gone at it from a different kind of angle, by involving her own feelings into the mix, and not making it about what Heather said, with Eboni's feelings and points as secondary. From what I read and recall, there is more coming with Heather vs. Leah... this was only the warm up.
  23. Well, per the article and Frankel's podcast, she did end her deal because of the restrictions it had put on her podcast and, I am sure, other ventures she would want to pursue. I'm pretty sure Frankel never said "never say never," in regards to her return, but I feel like she did what she needed to do when she returned last time, and I feel like a more permanent move to Boston to be with Paul might be in her future.
  24. Restore Carrington Garland as Kelly Capwell; bring on Eileen Davidson as nü Angela. Restore Ava Lazar in the role of Santana, who returns to Santa Barbara to once again reconnect with a now-teenage Brandon DeMott Capwell. Ditch the DiAngelis and Walker families in ex-change for the restructuring of the Lockridge family; return Augusta (Louise Sorel), Laken (Julie Ronnie/recast) and Cassandra (recast). Find a way to resurrect the role of Joe Perkins, either under Dane Witherspoon or recast the role with Mark Valley (ex-Jack, DAYS). Put stock in returning some classic sets, ie: La Mesa (under new ownership of Rosa Andrade), the Capwell Hotel (under new ownership of Ted Capwell — with Todd McKee returning to the role), the Orient Express (under the ownership of a returned Cruz Castillo and partnership with Kelly Capwell, and design by Santana), a less drably-renovated the Liar. Return Roberta Bizeau Weiss to the role of Flame Beaufort, working alongside Kirk Cranston (Robert Newman) seeking revenge on those in Santa Barbara who wronged them. Restore either Lane Davies or Terry Lester to the role of Mason Capwell.
