  1. This picture is not a current photo of Sheri on set. It's from Sheri Anderson's tweet from April 3, 2018, for the party celebrating Drake's 4,000th episode. https://twitter.com/sheriawriter/status/981311861105811456
  2. Re: Griffith. There are (now) no more script(dialogue) writers or breakdown writers being *credited* on Y&R, but there *might* be scab writers working under Griffith. Scab dialogue writers were usually uncredited on most of the soaps during the prior writers strike. Griffith fired most of the breakdown writers in February. Whatever the remaining breakdown writer wrote before the strike began ... has now already aired, hence that bd writer is longer credited. It's possible that bd writer is striking. Theoretically, there could be a new uncredited scab breakdown writer, but we wouldn't know. Or, as you said, maybe what is now airing could be Griffith doing all the breakdowns himself.
  3. That photo is not a current photo of Sheri Anderson at the studio. That photo is from Sheri's twitter, April 3, 2018, from the party celebrating Drake's 4,000th episode.
  4. The pics of the scenes of them dressed in that wardrobe won't be airing - because they've already moved onto a new Genoa City day in new wardrobe. But yes the set itself will air then. The "undressed" scenes could have been cut entirely or could air at any time in the future.
  5. Not just those scenes. Scenes from several Y&R episodes have been cut entirely and some scenes were moved into a different episode. Documented via photos and episode numbers here: (Link)
  6. They cut Neil's entire speech from today's broadcast. CBS had to cut something to allow for more ads in 2023 and *that* is what they chose. I don't think they cut anything else. Just Neil's speech. Neil's speech was the highlight of the episode for me. But of course CBS too scared to air it now. His speech is a little over four minutes of meaningful fire.
  7. It's up on Global. You might need a VPN from outside Canada https://watch.globaltv.com/series/32666602/episode/GLOB0056809180000000/
  8. My issue was with one post. @Soapsuds Please don't try to include me in a discussion about whatever other longterm board issues you might have.
  9. That post that Errol referenced is not still not okay with me. At all. I found it extremely upsetting. Errol deleted my objection, so I won't restate here the specifics. I just wanted to go on record. There is nothing more to be said about it here. I have communicated with Errol further via private message.
  10. THIS! THANK YOU! Kick-ass Anna Devane is my favorite soap character of all time. Not weepy Anna.
  11. This doesn't need to be hidden on this spoiler thread. You said in your post: "I read the blog post of someone who listened to the SOD podcast say that Bo and Hope are only on for 15 episodes (there have been 7 so far), but Steve Burton signed a year-long contract - yuck". This is not a rumor. This is not BTS (behind-the-scenes) scoop. This is directly from SOD. Anyone can listen to what Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso on the SOD podcast by going to this link https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/icymi-dayss-kristian-alfonso-and-peter-reckell-guest-on-digests-podcast/ and selecting March 31, or just go to any podcast platform Apple, spotify, stitcher, podbean, Audible, etc etc etc and search for "Dishing with Digest" and then select March 31. Alfonso and Reckell say they filmed only 12-15 episodes. Here is Burton's SOD Interview in which he says he "agreed to a one-year contract". https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/icymi-steve-burton-interview-1724444/ So far, in Burton's appearances on DAYS, he has shown in the closing credits as noncontract. But he could have signed a contract at some point after joining Days which would reflect in the closing credits later on.
  12. By far, my favorite this season from the original crew is Worf. He makes me so happy! He has changed/evolved with age through the years in some ways, but is still totally himself. He just feels *right* to me. From the entire Season Three cast, my faves (in no particular order) are Worf, Seven, Sidney La Forge, and Raffi.
  13. LOL i read twitter for soaps commentary but I've never once read twitter for Trek commentary. I was reading trekbbs.com in past few years (although I don't post there.) But for Picard season 3 there is so much interest that each episode has 75-100 pages of replies - for one episode! - so I didn't bother to read at all. I don't watch Trek for relationships. I don't watch Trek for spaceship technology. I watch Trek for stories of interplanetary transformation.
  14. In general, I don't like the idea of a "big bad" for Star Trek. And specifically this big bad feels tired. Too much emphasis on lots of warships and scary stuff. I prefer Gene Roddenberry transformational arcs. Not horror movie stuff. Not smash-em-up battles. I want to be left with a sense of joy and wonder and hope.
  15. LOL that Joshua Morrow didn't see that it was her.
  16. Tweeted from the DAYS studio
  17. yes of course but I liked that such a situation allowed the voice to be unaltered.
  18. yes that was credited in the closing credits. Yes he did! Yes, indeed. I liked that they left the rank of the person being spoken to the same, instead of artificially altering that voice's words.
  19. That's the only way I'd accept Brenda being with Sonny - if Sonny left the mob. I don't come into this thread much, so this discussion is all new to me and I appreciate it.
  20. I remember the one episode where the *other* doctor (Pulaski) performed heart surgery where this was remembered in a flashback. I just don't think of Picard that way in general. However, Picard had some fun bravado in scenes with Vash, which I really loved. I think Jack has some of *that* Picard in him. Or when Picard went undercover as a mercenary stealing archaeological things - that Picard.
  21. Earlier in the season when Riker kept saying to Picard "isn't it obvious" meaning isn't it obvious that Jack is Picard's son, due to Jack's mannerisms etc. ... I mean it was obvious the show was setting Jack up to be Jean-Luc's son but ... I had to laugh because at the beginning of the season Jack didn't feel like a young Jean-Luc Picard to me - at all. Jack's energy felt much more like a young Kirk. His bravado reminded me more of William Shatner than Patrick Stewart. He's like young Kirk with an English accent, LOL. Now I can see a *little* of Jean-Luc in him, but still very little. If this was a different era, I'd totally buy him as Kirk's son. Or young Kirk in an alternate universe. No matter how much Riker kept insisting he was obviously Jean-Luc's son, I didn't buy it except that it was obvious the *show* was setting it up that way.
  22. Allison V. Lanier is an awesome young goddess of fierceness and love.
