I keep saying that given that Tomas has been positioning Kat to marry him to look better to Bill, saw Bill and Dani kiss and told no one, overheard Hayley already, and now he is suspicious of her and Lynette, that it really does feel like the writers have been setting up an exit storyline for Tomas. But then after he overheard Hayley, that plot thread and him knowing about Bill/Dani just abruptly vanished off the canvas too long.

The last time I saw Finola mentioned in the threads, I thought she was dealing with something medical in real life so they had to write Anna off. Is there something else going on?

I love seeing this earlier today. It made me think about Victor/Victoria and Nikki/Nick on Y&R and how their names not only hinted at who they took after, but their personalities used to be mirrors to each other (Victoria as ruthless as her dad while Nick is as emotional/passionate as his mother).

Well, I see the wacka wackas have started to creep into story again. CVE and his writing tics. Le sigh. Now why we have to bring Celeste into this? Lol. But as everyone knows, if there is anything I love, love, LOVE on my soaps, it's the villain's FEMALE henchwoman (excluding the one Brennan had). Pascal is just some creepy little worm that Anna should have killed ages ago and that the writers just happen to like because they have to have some slapsticky 'humor' in there for kicks. Same. I hollered when I read this. I do admit that I do like that Wyndemere definitely has a vibe again. Yeah, it seem everyone picked up on it here, BUT me. I just thought he was creepy and snobby. And I know Marco made that comment once that he thought he had a crush on him and that was why Pascal was being a way with Lucas. However, I didn't think that the writers were going to run with it. I guess given their 'humor' I shouldn't be shocked, but I still just smh. I guess if anything came out of it...since I'm arriving at Marco death scenes as I type...it's the irony of Marco being dead due to Pascal actually...the person that crushed on him.

As much as I've been enjoying catching up, I do see the wacka wackas are trying to creep in again. And I also see how much of it I have started to put on MUTE. But I already knew who the show was going to focus on couple-wise (read: not the ones they should) when the year started. Not shocked.

Well tbf, up until mid-February (which is when I guess they decided to push it back), the cotollion storyline had slowly been building up until then. From Sam's talking about it as she was coming out of being grounded over Nathan to Jessica having issues with it on top of Ty having issues with Jessica leaving Fairmont Crest. Then we got Jessica's disdain growing, influencing Ty's attitude. Then we got the history lesson/debate between Ty and Nicole. Then we started to get Anita and Vernon mentoring the kids before the Anita's Cancer story started. And a change in Jessica's part of the arc. We got the introduction of Anastacia/Francisca as the bougie potential second family. We finally got some Gossip Girl-ish antics well catfights between them and Anita and the Duprees and Samantha vs Francisca. And right when I was wondering...the show went ahead, picked up the Nathan thread (he's Francisca's date) while Nicole and Vanessa were taking care that Samantha had a date in Donnell. And then...the story upped and vanished...only to be revealed in an interview what was going on. Talk about abrupt because I was invested in its slow burn approach...moving from a C plot to a very solid B plot onto its way to an A plot. I was disappointed by Febuary 24th. But like I said then, if the cotillion had started immediately after the last story beat, I would have called it rushed...which several people pointed out to me then. And...they would be right. I am starting to wonder with how abruptly Hayley's storyline was stopped at the same time the cotillion storyline was paused, if that is why. Up until mid-February, they were both turning into solid B plots (with Anita's Cancer being the A story). Are they going to expose Hayley in front of the whole town? I very much am hoping so (and will gladly eat crow and vent if I am wrong) because I too am tired of the wheel spinning. But while I enjoyed Winterfest, it was mostly a letdown with the majority of the audience. And BTG cannot do that again right now. But I hope...if I do turn out to be right...this isn't going to become a thing of them holding story around this time of year, building up plots people might not be interested in while holding off the ones that the audience are interested in, waiting for May Sweeps. Cuz...NO. Once was okay. Twice is pushing it. A third time...I might start to shade. lol. ETA...I agree @Antoyne @GLATWT88 with how much I have been enjoying Hayley. Ever since her reveal, for me, Hayley has been giving 90s DAYS OF OUR LIVES's Kristen Dimera scheming (and acting) right up until (and sometimes after) Kristen winded up in the Secret Room. And I've been hollering every step of the way. And I really like how MG has been playing it for the audience just like ED used to do...when we are in the know, but the characters aren't. It is a cute wink-wink.

Ugh. Fine, CBS. It will just be a miss on Friday's episode. Stupid games they be playing. In other news... Now THIS is how you do a vixen. I was hoping she would morph into this so it's good to see it happening. I love her. SPS, take note.

I don't mind Kevin and Laura...ifonly they had the writing, but I am not going to say that I wouldn't cheer if Lucy and Kevin got back together. I like that. I don't feel they would be bitter divorcee.

Which means he is authentic himself so that should draw the audience in which sounds like it's working. I know people have issues with him there but he's working it.

I am loving them both. More reason for me to believe they are treating the cotillion like they treated the anniversary party. So as long as they handle the fallout well, it will be a great set of episodes.

Yeah, Val and Carly are just mute to me...chemistry or not. Because it's clear what is going on there. But...Frank's gotta Frank. And I was like Carly when he's already setting dinner for two after ONE shag. Uh...NOPE. On the OTHER hand, since it was mentioned...I honestly did like the scene with Carly and Brennan. Though I was barely paying attention, I did pick up on the layers going on. But was that because of the actors doing that or the writing? Hmmm
