I Am A Swede

I'm happy that Luxembourg advanced to the final. They were my favourite last night in the first semi-final. And I always like hearing a bit of French. I keep hearing that Croatia is one of the favourites to win, and that seems incomprehensible to me. That song (if you can call it that) is more than a little influenced by Finland's entry last year.

I get why they had a temp for KKL. This was when the story of Rick shooting Grant climaxed, and obviously Brooke was needed for that. (That the whole climax felt lacking when it was Sandra Ferguson and not KKL playing those scenes is a different story). The point I was going for was that if the other maternity leaves impacted the stories the show was trying to tell, just like KKL's leave affected story, then why did they only have a temp for her and not for any of the others (Tylo, Bregman, Brown)?

She's already as far into the corner as you can come. There is no reason whatsoever for any of the other characters (except maybe Deacon and (oddly enough) Finn) to care about Sheila. She's too far gone to have any chance of being redeemed. That is of course if you apply any kind of logic to the situation, but with Brad Bell at the helm I guess anything is possible....

I wonder why they only had a temporary recast for KKL and not any of the others.

It's always nice to see them use the front door on Southfork. We rarely saw them do that, and when they did it added a bit of grandeur to the place instead of the back entrance they usually used.

I just love forests. There's something so peaceful about them.

I wonder how B&B would have handled it if Hunter's role on Melrose Place had worked out and she had left B&B for real. Would they have re-cast Taylor or brought in a new character? And if I'm not mistaken, wasn't KKL also thinking about leaving around this time? Would B&B even have survived if both HT and KKL would have left?
