Not bringing Trudy back was a terrible choice. @vetsoapfan I had never thought of it but having Jeanne on as Trudy would have been such a wonderful idea. Instead of just having Dorothy Lyman as a store owner or whatever she did for a few episodes in the show's last months, they could have had her as a Bauer, or as Elizabeth Spaulding.

Thanks @slick jones I remember being impressed with Oni Faida Lampley on Oz. I didn't realize she'd passed away so many years ago. Allison Hossack was so underrated on AW. Appreciate seeing that SOD piece on her.

I thought he had warm moments with Sasha, but she was written out quickly in his run.

Yes, those scenes about Monica's death were strong, even though he'd never even worked with Leslie. I saw earlier today that it was about a year ago that the explosion/burning happened. I had no idea how much would change with Michael. It seems like much longer.

Very true. I've seen tweets that he just has one facial expression. Michael isn't meant to be anything beyond anger these days, but even then, Gibson did a great job of showing so many different expressions in that great scene where he baited Drew into a witness stand meltdown.

He reminds me more of Alan than most of the Michael actors, or most younger Qs have - he doesn't have Alan's rapier wit but he has the rest, if they allowed him to be as tough as Alan was early on (I don't need a repeat of how rough Alan was with Monica but while I liked Sasha I do think pairing Michael with a strong woman would be a step forward for him, as you have said).

I still see people say he's acting more like Sonny now but he's much more Q-like to me - calculated on the surface and volatile underneath. I know Jason is busy with Britt, but they do still make time to have him involved with some of Michael's story in a more natural way than Sonny is capable of, like stopping the fight and asking Michael how he was doing.

Yes, it's interesting as EJ, especially for a while there, seemed to be everywhere, just as he was when James Scott was playing him. I chalked that up to James having very vocal fans and EJami being such a big deal. Dan Feuerriegel is very good, and EJ still has fans, but I don't know if it's at that level now. So, I just assume someone at the show loves EJ or sees him as very valuable.

That does make me laugh. I'm not sure if Swickard is being told to play Chase as crazy or not but he's really going off the deep end of late.

I didn't get the feeling she resents AMC itself, but I can't see her going back. She's not on MBJ's level but she's doing better right now in her career than she has in a while.

He has a few fans on Twitter, although I think some of those may be based on hostility from Sprina fans. If they are wrapping up Willow's story, then Kai will probably die. Otherwise, I could see him just fading out. I could see Kai and Trina leaving Port Charles to get away from what they know. Maybe Willow arranges a job for them via Drew.

If It's an AMC movie where she reprises Kendall and is tied in with Kelly Ripa, I could still see her doing the movie. It won't be something like Sexted To Death: A Marcy Margolis Story. The Buffy revival is still ongoing, and I still wonder if it will ever happen. Even if it does, she might be able to do a one-off movie, especially if there are other people involved and she isn't carrying the load.

I never knew about that. I wonder if that's why she wasn't on the show long. I hope her acting was better than it was on ATWT.

So do I. I never got to see the Loving reunions so this is the closest I'd get. I'm glad he had Lauren Marie Taylor on, although that was likely just because of the lady from DAYS who was with her.

Hopefully. I imagine if Susan was asked, they must have some confidence. So many dramas now just go for grimdark, needle drop, emo woe montage. Ideally AMC could be more in the spirit of what Agnes wanted.

Those are good suggestions. She may have been seen as too old, but I wonder how Virginia Dwyer would have fared. Audrey Peters also could have been OK.

I'd be happy if Ron got a new soap on the air. Even with BtG it's tough to imagine but I'd be happy. AMC/OLTL I don't see either but you never know.

Thanks. I remember reading some of the synopses about Carter Bowden. I don't really enjoy James Lipton in anything, although he's easier to take as Dick than some other roles.

I wish all of his GH run was available. GH and ATWT seemed to be the truest templates for his talent, although he certainly had strong moments elsewhere. One of the best parts of being here the last year or so has been how active the GL thread is. I never would have guessed. Discussion of so many eras. I suppose it helps that no one is coming in here repeatedly asking why fans are giving critiques and not just remembering the good times. I still think GL could be revived today in some format, although I know that isn't likely.
