  1. Those are great ideas, incorporating Sonny's decline and reformation, along with an AJ return. This could also put use to the story they did nothing with about Carly being reported to the feds by Nina. Maybe have somebody embezzling from various rich GH characters too and that could be used as part of an umbrella story.
  2. I'd always be glad to see Sarah. Maybe regarding money, they could do a story that a lot of "rich" people go through where her money is all tied up, she has bad investments, and she has to keep up appearances. She might end up going into debt, and if they want another story about a mysterious rich person taking over the city like Stefan back in the day, he or she might end up taking over her properties.
  3. They have put Carly in such a box to the point where it now feels like a coffin. Laura Wright has always had a very strong presence, but she doesn't really have any interesting relationships left with her family or with her ex-lovers, and she is surrounded by wealthy and powerful people so that means the story I wanted to see (her losing everything and having to rebuild) wouldn't work now. I don't even know what you could do with Carly anymore. It would be extremely crass, and the show wouldn't be able to handle it but the only thing I could think of is if she gets some kind of brain injury and becomes a different person. I know they did that with Jason, but at least that would be some dramatic irony and he'd be around to see how it feels on the other side.
  4. Impossible to believe this is the same character for most of the show's run, although Mackenzie Westmore does a good job with such a hideously dark turn. Needless to say this is all one big trigger warning...
  5. Thanks @Huntress for keeping us in the loop. I'd have no idea otherwise. I'm glad Germany is still trying new soaps, as most places aren't.
  6. I saw some speculation going around of Sheree and Kim back on RHOA next season, Kim as a friend. Kim being invited to Bravocon seemed to rev this up even more. If this does happen then it really would seem to suggest they are fully out of ideas for RHOA, even though I enjoy bits and pieces with Sheree.
  7. He might not have been a bad Leo.
  8. Nancy Curlee and Demorest, I think.
  9. Roseland, featuring Helen Gallagher.
  10. I was listening to one of those fake podcast videos for the show, with some details I'm not too sure of the accuracy of (they seemed to imply Carol and Joyce were the same character with another name). (they also claim Young Doctor Malone aired for decades on TV) They claim that some never before heard episodes from 44-45 debuted on Internet Archive. They seem to have popped up in 2021. @dc11786 @Paul Raven @jam6242 @slick jones @vetsoapfan @wonderwoman1951@EricMontreal22 You've probably already heard these, but if not: Road Of Life : The Joe Hehn Memorial Collection : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
  11. I think it says more about Jason than the state of the women on the canvas.
  12. I definitely see his agenda about Jason...it's just weird to me they threw away a lot of natural drama with Dante, Lulu, Brook Lynn, Chase, for Liesl telling everyone she is a proud granny. I think the momentum with Gio in story with his bio parents is pretty much gone, which is a shame.
  13. I'm mostly curious as to why so much of the story momentum was derailed just for these other elements. I guess once Frank knew he could bring Britt and Liesl back that was where his heart went.
  14. I watched Kiss Me Deadly a little while ago, with Wesley Addy very sharp in a key role. Seeing that he was a little over 40 and the movie was made around 30 years earlier than his Loving debut made me understand even more why he seemed a bit frail when he was on Loving. It's a miracle that he and Augusta Dabney were both able to return and then both survived to the end of the show, both in their late 70s to early 80s when it ended, Addy passing not long afterward. Sometimes I wonder if they should have cast younger actors for the parts, but they were both such believable casting for those types of people, with Dabney's grace adding a certain warmth to the family. And the attempts to recast her never really worked for me, even if Celeste Holm was very interesting to watch. Rather than killing Cabot off in 1991 I wish they'd explored more of the Cabot/Clay dynamics while they had the chance.
  15. I think she also said she just couldn't face going to Nadine's funeral. Thanks for the audition @Liberty City I'd never seen that. The volume is so low it's hard to tell, but is Kim not doing the big Southern accent?
  16. It really does seem like a missed opportunity. I felt bad for Judith when she mentioned playing a bit part on AW about a year earlier and how demoralizing the experience was.
  17. This could be used as part of the story I wanted with Brook Lynn falling for Dante. Maybe Willow could somehow use Chase to cause conflict between Gio and Michael, with their Sonny connection.
  18. Thanks so much @slick jones as always, I am in awe of your work.
  19. James Goodwin - IMDb
  20. Thanks for the extra info.
  21. Thanks @Franko! This overlaps with some earlier misdated material but luckily it doesn't overlap very much - those earlier uploads have more of the hostage crisis and Steve being shot. @Kane This is a real boon for your blog as there are three full or nearly full episodes in this - Steve death aftermath, buildup to his funeral, and his actual funeral. Other important scenes include Harry telling Ned how important he is to him (which may indicate the show had more plans for Ned and maybe Luke Perry wanted to leave) and Cecilia talking with Kate about how she had managed to move on from Steve only to make the same mistakes falling for Rick so quickly. She then decides to leave. All very rushed so maybe that wasn't the show's choice either, I don't know. It certainly makes no sense to write her out that fast. Kate at one point warns Rick how important Cecila is to her. I hope we get to see more of that relationship someday. There's also a little moment of Rick looking out for Kate. I wish the show had not dropped any relationship between them. I'm glad that in 1988 they began phasing out this overly downtrodden look for Kate that looks like something out of 1933. @dc11786 These may also be fascinating to you with your analyses of the show. @slick jones There are a few cast crawls in these.
  22. I can see where this probably wasn't suited for where are they now... I hadn't thought of her in a long time. That period in the early '00s where OLTL seemed to be casting actors who would be best suited to softcore. (not to disparage Pacific Blue) I wonder if she or Paige was a more unpopular Bo love interest.
  23. Hasn't she already mostly left the show, aside from a recent appearance? I could see her still popping in a few times a year.
