  2. I loved it, too. I stopped watching back in April, but I knew I had to turn into this (and tomorrow's) to say goodbye to Dot/June Brown, and the show, thankfully, did not disappoint. I actually first teared up when Kathy started talking about Donna, and was just so enamored throughout. I'd honestly welcome back all the returnees home for good. I'd never even seen any of Disa before, but I was still able to feel for her and her loss. I hope tomorrow is just as good.
  3. I feel like every other month since Twin Peaks: The Return, someone from the family has left us. That may be an exaggeration, but not by much. Angelo Badalamenti was indeed superb. Some might say his work was all composing. (stupid joke I know)
  4. Including being pushed down the stairs herself by Faith Roscoe (miss her!).
  5. Update: PETER PORTE - Kyle Graham (a.k.a Dimitri Von Leuschner) BEYOND SALEM 2021 Also, noticed James Scott (pg 272) isn't listed on the first post.

  7. There is no cure. Google says life expectancy is 6-28 years.
  8. As a fellow Canuck, I felt the best selling Canadian artist deserved her own thread, especially in light of the news she revealed to fans on social media today.
  9. No worries, slick. I'm always happy for you to get my requests in at your best convenience. Get well soon!
  10. It's just a guest role, though Kyle Pryor is welcome anywhere, anytime in my view.
  11. 30 Rock - it's kind of amazing that the show really only needed a few episodes to hit it's stride. I've only seen clips here and there so I don't know how I'll feel about later seasons, but I'm really enjoying it. And as an Oz fan, I'm always happy whenever Dean Winters pops up anywhere. I had such a crush on him as Ryan O'Reilly ... though maybe I shouldn't admit that. ZIWE! - if you all have never heard of this satirical, yet political, but hilarious talk show. Run, don't walk to watch it. I can watch her make her guests squirm all day long.
  12. Look Who's Talking and It Takes Two are forever loved by me since childhood. Fat Actress being an underrated and hilarious gem as well. R.I.P. to the artist who gave me so much joy and entertainment throughout my life.
  13. Damn, they planned weddings so quick back then.
  14. In my view as someone who only reads recaps, she's just a seedy, untrustworthy person, who does "good" things if she thinks the ends justify the means. I don't watch, so I can't say if she comes off completely as the typical dragon lady trope, but has she been responsible for anyone's death yet? Surely, that's to come at some point. Obviously, you can say this about plenty of characters, but it's abundantly true about Sasha/Gladys when I ask, why are they still on this show? Their presence is bewildering. Also, it's a shame Holly is already gone. She has such a weird placement in the canon of GH heroines. Maybe any major heroine in soap history. Robert with insufferable Diane is nope from me. It was a cruel that Hook didn't finish her off.
  15. For the first time in years, the battle for Best Actor is the one that is of the most interest to me. Essentially, in my mind anyway, it could potentially be Colin Farrell vs. Brendan Fraser and I don't know who I'm rooting for more. Colin has evolved beautifully as an actor from his initial bad boy image and the pictures/projects he's chosen the last few years have been smart, creative, and fascinating. However, I have seen Banshees, and though I loved the previous effort those same parties put together with In Bruges, Banshees left a lot to be desired for me as a whole. So maybe I'm just rooting for him to get one of those career Oscars at this point. Then there is Brendan Fraser, who has come through the [!@#$%^&*] that Hollywood can throw at you to make a triumphant comeback with a performance of a lifetime. If this awards season continues to build both of them up concurrently, my eyes will certainly be on the Best Actor prize come Oscar night.

  17. Jane Curtin as Katey Sagal's mother is absolutely insane, but seeing her will be a treat all the same.
  18. The actors basically choose what they wear. Characterization is dead.
  19. It seems unlikely, but I hope Ron Carlivati is fired in 2023.

  21. I'm pretty sure that second pic of Jason Pendergraft is the recently deceased Jason David Frank, isn't it?
  22. Moving my recent 'movie thread' creation to this thread instead, because I forgot it existed. I watched Diamond Head (1962) the other night starring Charlton Heston in the lead. It's a film about him opposing his sister marrying a Hawaii'an because of his prejudices. I ended up enjoying it because, for one, it was very soapy, and I think knowing Heston's conservative views I kept waiting for the ball to drop on his more open-minded sister, played by Yvette Mimieux, whereby she would go crazy or see the error of her ways, but was pleasantly surprised by the ultimate outcome in terms of the films messaging. Shamefully, I didn't even realize Aline McMahon was playing the mother of the Hawaii'an brothers, but to my testament the image of her I have in my mind is of her from golden age films like Gold Diggers of 1933, but when I did realize it took a minute to wrap my head around for obvious reasons.

  24. People of my generation definitely saw him as a hero growing up. Everyone loved the green ranger. In fact, Tommy and Kimberly were probably our generation's first OTP . RIP to him. Way too soon.
