  1. At this point, I'd just reboot the show with Doug and Julie at the Horton house. Marie arrives, moving back to Salem. From there I'll pick and choose what I want to be canon, and everyone is their correct age.
  2. I thought this video I watched today was a good tribute to Kathryn Hays as Kim. I'll probably get around to watching the '97 special episode starring Gillian Spencer at some point. I wish there was a good quality version of that famous scene with JWS where she finds his shrine to her.
  3. There's a spoiler that Gwen and Leo knew each other before Salem.
  4. I miss when Nikki was a horrible mother.
  5. @Marco Dane Thanks for posting that episode. It's always a treat to see characters I've really only read about to see how they are truly portrayed. I can see why Jenny ended up leaving the Sisterhood for Tim as Tom Berenger was gorgeous. I had no idea he was so gruff, and Tony such a pig. I wish Cathy got her chance to slap him. Anyone else kind of see a resemblance between George Reinholt and Jonathon McClendon, who played Chase Jannings on DAYS? I always had the impression Cathy was kind of neurotic, but Dorrie Kavanaugh's version comes off very cool as well. It's fascinating that we got to see a time so close to when Megan devastatingly passes away. We're also apparently close to Steve Burke's exit as well. Can someone tell me how his story ended? Seeing him for the first time as well, Bernie Grant as Steve comes off mature, but kind and secure in himself, so I can understand how Viki could have fallen for him. It's too bad we couldn't see Carla do more, but it was still nice to see her, and Doris Belack as Anna feels so effortless. It must have been a huge loss when she left the role.
  6. If only Eve could come back and run her over again.
  7. I've been wanting to ask if anyone played Pokémon Go, but didn't want to make a thread about it. 🤣 So anyone that sees this, if you do, feel free to add me: 5894 6238 2751 .
  8. For some reason, the picture of Emily McLaughlin made me think that Olivia Colman resembles her a bit.
  9. Today's episode was a great one for the Luke story. Classic HO fans should give it a look.
  10. Do we know why Harmony killed Neil?
  11. Shane/Ryland and Trisha Paytas having children truly is the end of times.
  12. I have been watching regularly again since it was first announced Jon Sen was leaving and I would say there is a significant marked improvement. However, when it comes to the UK shows I really don't know if any producer has been worse then Jon Sen so almost anything would seem better. Kate Oates is currently showrunning temporarily until Chris Clenshaw takes over. I presume his first credited episode will be in the summer, but he started IRL in January. I've come in and out of watching this show many times, so I'm taking a wait and see approach and giving Clenshaw a chance. At the very least, the show doesn't seem like it's running away from itself anymore. I also encourage you to watch Zack Morris' final week of episodes. He was fantastic.
  13. I know this show has much bigger problems, but why do they dress Xander so shabbily?
  14. Jimmy Lydon (Chris Thayer) passed away March 9, 2022 at the age of 98. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/jimmy-lydon-life-with-father-henry-aldrich-movies-dead-1235115079/
  15. It's sad that it has come to this for Victor Kiriakis. This show hasn't been truthful about the horrible person that he is and the people around him have suffered for it. He is not the type of character that should pass away in his sleep. He is a villain. A hateful, misogynistic, narcissistic abuser. He should have been killed off at some point, not get to potentially die on his own terms like he's Tom Horton.
  16. Whatever my issues with Maggie, Suzanne Rogers remains one of the most endearing presences.
  17. All I remember is that they got poor dead Alice involved in the secret that she kept to her grave ... because?
  18. Do you think it could have worked in the long run to actually kill J.R. off?
  19. I've always hated the pairing and never bought their forced love story, and I was the prime pre-teen age during the last blast crew years, so wouldn't hesitate to tear them apart once and for all. Of course, it would probably be pretty easy to just say Claire was Philip's after all.
  20. Claire has had mental problems, so maybe that chemical imbalance stems from her being a child of incest. It would be a dark but fascinating way to get back to DAYS' psychological/psycho sexual roots.
