  8. My understanding is the episode directly ties into "Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem," which sets up the series itself based on the plot of the show itself.

  10. There's an interview he did with Michael Fairman back in June of 2020: https://michaelfairmantv.com/yrs-executive-producer-anthony-morina-talks-on-daytime-emmy-drama-series-win-for-neils-memorial-honoring-kristoff-st-john/2020/06/29/ I just want to point out that it isn't easy to get time with an executive producer of a daytime soap opera for an interview. They are very busy 24/7 running a tight ship 365 days a year. Unlike a primetime EP who shares the role with other people in most cases, a daytime EP is mostly the first in the building and the last out, working with a cast of 30 and above coordinating the direction of multiple segments a day that can make up several episodes. I don't think he or any other daytime EP is hiding from the press.
  11. You must have the names confused. Unless you're talking about a different show called "The Jeffersons"? Taheim Bryan was only 50 years old at the time of his death so it would have been impossible to write for the show you're referring to and his primary credit is his film mentioned in the article. He did produce three other recent projects, however.
  12. "Equal Standard" writer/producer Joseph "Taheim" Bryan died Thursday after being shot six times in the arm and torso. Police are still searching for the shooter. The film's cast, including Maurice Benard, Tobias Truvillion and Ice-T share stories about the loss of their friend. 14. I have not. No. He has done interviews with other people though so that's not true about him not giving interviews.
  15. The face does look better in the one I preferred, and of course the body is much better as well. He reminded me of a Hallmark actor in it. The other pics, not so much. Happy he found someone.

  19. It doesn't make the alleged story any less reprehensible but... Actress Files Lawsuit Against Sony And CBS Alleging Sexual Harassment By ‘The Young And The Restless’ Executive Producer Anthony “Tony” Morina
  20. “The Young and the Restless” executive producer Anthony Morina is facing allegations of sexual harassment in a lawsuit filed Thursday, August 19 against producing studio Sony Pictures Television and CBS which airs the top-rated daytime drama series as part of its daytime lineup. According to Variety, Briana Thomas, a former background actress who appeared on the soap as a barista in 2018 and 2019, alleges that Morina would cozy up to her and give her compliments about her looks, often telling her she could “really be something” on the show. In one instance he allegedly tried to get her to “remove her sarong so that he could see her in a bikini.” “It’s a tough industry to break into, unless you know someone who can help you,” Morina is quoted in the lawsuit to have told Thomas as he touched her waist and played with her bikini strings during setup for a poolside scene. “Let’s start with a private session and see if we can get you a little more comfortable,” he allegedly told her. Representing Thomas in her lawsuit is Carney Shegerian, the same lawyer who filed a lawsuit accusing Mike Richards, the new host of “Jeopardy!” and the game show’s executive producer, during his time running “The Price is Right” of discriminating against a pregnant model. Richards denied the allegations. In her lawsuit, Thomas claims that Morina once complained about having to attend sexual harassment training sessions in the wake of CBS’ investigation into sexual harassment claims brought against then CEO Les Moonves. Morina reportedly called the training sessions “bullshit” and that some “bitches” had “their panties in a bunch” and “didn’t know how to take a compliment.” If that wasn’t the worst of it, the suit also claims that Morina once referred to a Black actress with short hair, saying, “[she] has a hot body, but it is too bad her head looked like a Chia Pet.” “I’m the reason why you have a job,” Morina allegedly told Thomas at one point. “I am doing you a favor. I like you. Do you understand what I’m saying?” Thomas was later fired. Her last listed credit on IMDb was an uncredited role as a party guest in the 2018 film “Love Sonia.” Variety notes that at press time CBS nor Sony Pictures Television responded to a request for comment about the lawsuit. 21. If you tuned into the Monday, August 16 episode of “General Hospital” and began to ask yourself, “Who is that ‘Nurse’ and why is she staring at Ava [Maura West] so much?” and continued asking yourself that very question in subsequent episodes, we finally have an answer for you! Meet actress Avery Kristen Pohl who joins the cast of the daytime drama series in the role of Esme Prince, Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) girlfriend and accomplice. The Thursday, August 19 episode revealed that Esme was the one responsible for setting Ava’s car ablaze, which she claims to have done in order to get suspicion off of Spencer who both Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava believed was the stalker, a revelation the is in fact true but now with Esme’s stunt helps alieve the pressure off of Spencer. Despite her assistance, the news didn’t sit too well with Spencer as it deviated from their original plan to separate his father from Ava’s life. “Esme Prince has officially made it to Port Charles!!” wrote Pohl on Instagram hours after the episode aired. “I swear my face is ECSTATIC under my mask. So thrilled to join @generalhospitalabc and work with this AMAZING cast and crew. Special thank you to Frank Valentini [executive producer], Mark Teschner [casting director] and all of the producers, writers, and directors. So honored to get to work with such kind and hard working people.” Pohl went on to thank her talent agency and those closest to her for all of their “hard work and support over the years.” Following Pohl’s comments about joining the cast, Chavez posted a group picture of himself with Pohl and co-stars William Lipton (Cameron Webber) and Sydney Mikayla (Trina Robinson), along with others with the caption, “I gotta admit.. my friends are pretty cool.” Check out the Instagram posts below.
