This 'woe is me' act Phyllis is putting on does not work. She lost 'it all' because of her nastiness and her self-idealised state of mind.
I think it is brave of Nicholas to admit that he not only needs a meeting but also that he might be feeling up to talking at a meeting, and it's beautiful that he is extending his hand to Nikki about attending the meeting with him. That kind of support is paramount for him in fighting his addictions. F**k, those scenes at the narcotics anonymous meeting were powerful. So powerful. Simple, yet effective. And Joshua Morrow gave an award-worthy performance. I know he's turned off by the Daytime Emmys, but I do hope he gives himself a chance in 2027 by submitting material from this storyline.
I'm happy that Lily was the one to tell Billy that she is running Chancellor Industries again following the return of Newman Enterprises to Victor. I'm glad she isn't re-merging the company with Chancellor-Winters. The concept was cute but the execution of that company was bad. I am not surprised by Billy's response about Cane running the company, especially given their complicated histories.
I'm so happy that Stephanie, now chief of staff of Genoa City Memorial Hospital (GCMH), is bringing up the topic of Nate returning to the medical field where he absolutely belongs.
I am surprised Victor is offering whatever is left of Arabesque Ventures. There has got to be some kind of catch about it. I really do believe that. And oh goodness... I forgot about Matt Clark being on the ranch and essentially becoming Victor's b*tch boy.
