I know they work hard at SOD but I don't understand why their cover shots are almost always so unflattering.

I too hope that on Days, Mia is not Carly's daughter. I would much prefer it to be Melanie.

Bo better not be the father of Carly's daughter. Not only would I hate that (I imagine Hope would too), but it'd totally throw off the timeline, given that they rapidly aged Swamp Baby (a.k.a. Chelsea).

As far as Zimmer being angry all the time, is there any question why she just might be upset? She was on a sinking ship and Reva's storyline of the past two years were awful.

I'm hoping for Melanie. I don't even dislike Mia the way a lot do but I don't think she needs to be thrown into a heavy story again this quickly, not with Vivian and Carly. Melanie was Max's sister, and Frankie and Max had some ties to Carly didn't they? And this would also bring Phillip further into the orbit of Carly and Vivian, especially since Vivian may see Phillip as a son.

Yes Melanie is more in need of being cemented into the Salem canvas than Mia. But then wouldn't that make Trent Robbins have a past with Carly? Dont know how they could achieve that one, especially with Roscoe Born being on OLTL again and therefore unable to film any newly created flashbacks.
