Beginning next week, I won't be able to post ratings on Thursday afternoons anymore. Ratings will be posted on Friday afternoons.

As for this week's ratings, very happy for DAYS! The show continues to rock!

Toups,

Does that mean if ratings are released on Friday (as they certainly will be next week, with the Labor Day holiday), you won't be able to post them until Monday?

Or is it just that you won't be able to post on Thursdays, but you'll post them on Friday whether they're released on Thursday or Friday?

Thanks :)

GL may be able to beat AMC for their last week on the air.

I'd love to say these aren't ratings/numbers AMC deserves, but I can't. I will say, deserved or not, I hate seeing the numbers so low.

DAYS has their little engine on their, hopefully they can maintain it long enough to get an extension wuth NBC.

Nice job by Days. Hopefully, this rebound is the start of an upwards trend.

Ugh, OLTL and AMC. The move cannot come soon enough. These soaps have to become cheaper to produce if they are going to stay on the air. There is a rumor than Frons asked Valenti to cut OLTL's budget by 20%. I am sure that Frons has asked Phelps and Carruthers to do the same. We'll have to see how the budget cuts play out on our screens.

GH is treading water in the 18-49 women demo. ABC must be pleased. I look forward to seeing next weeks' ratings from the carnival stunt.

Nice to see ATWT go up in total viewers and at #5 in total viewers. Also good to see a 1.9 and 1.8's for the week. I can't believe I am saying that...LOL...but compared to the 1.7...1.6's and even some 1.5's...it's better. I guess feature more vets gets you higher household numbers..and possible high ratings.

Wow at DAYS! I know they usually go back down after a gain but they are still the comeback story of the year.

I wish OLTL were doing better. I am torn between thinking the ABC soaps, especially those which are not GH (the golden goose for Frons), will never improve in ratings, and thinking OLTL would improve if they finally realized how disgusting the constant canonizing of men like Todd and Rex and the endless Stacy coverage is for some viewers.

Frons will probably say it's because of Kyle and Fish, or because of those icky older people.

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!

    • Bill and Hayley’s living room set should be redressed as their bedroom. We’ve not seen their gorgeous circular entry way set since the first week? Why not utilise that more and build them a living room off those double doors? The hotel room also doesn’t have a bed? Does only Dani have a bedroom?
